10/09/2025: Don't be fooled by the superlatives used to sing the praises (but which ones?) of this steakhouse. If you're thinking of eating meat, trust your instincts, not the advice of anyone behind the clearly visible meat counter, or you'll end up paying nearly €40 for a nearly inedible cut. I returned half of my steak after mentioning it to the waiter, but the price remained the same on the bill. Only after telling the cashier we were staying at a nearby B&B did they take 10% off our total bill, which still remained steep. The bombette were just okay, the mixed salad good, the house red wine decidedly subpar. There's probably better options around in and around Peschici.
05/09/2025: I'm giving one star because zero isn't an option. The food is good, of good quality, but unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. It was completely confusing because all the dishes arrived at once, and we ate the appetizer with the meat, otherwise it would have been cold. GOOD FOOD, BUT THE ORGANIZATION NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

The caciocavallo pizza didn't have any caciocavallo cheese, you could barely taste it. The carnaleta had the sausage a little gone...
18/11/2025: Great place! I went back after a year and again had excellent, artisan-looking pizzas with great ingredients! Excellent service and a lovely place! We'll definitely be back!

31/08/2025: A pleasant, satisfying, and positive vacation. The staff was competent and helpful, with the kindness and friendliness of the owner, Katia, and the entire residence staff. Excellent fresh fish dishes made with the highest-quality ingredients and prepared with attention to detail. Excellent room cleaning service. A quiet location surrounded by nature, not far from the sea.
21/08/2025: Excellent hotel residence with a few flaws that could be resolved with maintenance and small improvements. It has potential.
We had a good time.
Breakfast could be improved, as it only offers repetitive desserts and no savory options at all.
The restaurant is ok.
Thanks to Luana and Denise, who manage the dining room well, considering their young age.
Antonio's cabaret evening was lovely.

08/09/2025: Kiosk with comfortable plastic tables and chairs on the waterfront. Prices are more than fair (panzerotti cost between €3 and €5), and portions are decent.
Vegetarian options are limited; I ordered a panzerotto with parmigiana, but it was a shame the parmigiana was with ham!
For a water, a beer, two panzerotti, and a small portion of fries, we spent only €12.

03/12/2025: A very positive experience. We had two delicious burgers and some chicken nuggets. The best part is the location overlooking the lake and the dining room with paintings and memorabilia from various singers and bands. Very friendly staff.
06/11/2025: The Barrett is a guaranteed favourite now. My wife and I have been going there for over 15 years and it's never been a bad experience! Always good food and excellent service. I must say it's the only pub in the area that has remained true to its original English style!

27/12/2025: You order a cappuccino and a croissant, and the croissant arrives hot. Then, after a long, long time, when the croissant is cold, the cappuccino arrives only because you've urged the (rude) staff countless times.
Rather, bring everything very slowly but together.
I won't add anything else.

27/10/2025: We will never come again as long as that waiter who was working elsewhere is here. I won't write his name out of respect for the place because it's closed now. He was rude and arrogant at the table, and other tables also complained about his behavior. I feel sorry for his other employees and for the owners. The food is good as always, nothing to complain about, but I recommend you send that guy away. My friends and I won't be returning as long as he's here. I didn't want to write this, but I'm doing it for your own good, because we've been customers for years.

The owner is very kind and eager to resolve any issues. They also offer a free shuttle service to the sanctuary for guests.

31/01/2026: A perfect stop at Ristoro degli Angeli, right near Monte Sant'Angelo Castle and ample parking, is a great option after visiting the village.
The restaurant is spacious and welcoming, with a simple, friendly atmosphere.
The cuisine offers well-prepared and authentic Apulian dishes: we appreciated the authentic flavors, generous portions, and excellent quality. The staff, especially the very kind Maria Pia, was invaluable and available to offer advice, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Excellent value for money. Recommended for anyone looking for good food in a strategic location while visiting the city!
We will definitely be back!
