20/08/2025: Let me start by saying that it was the only place we found a table at, and I understand why... decent food, very nice location, but terrible staff!!! We were welcomed, and after 15 minutes they hadn't brought us the menu, they came to take our order, I pointed this out and I was again rudely told that he wasn't coming to take our order... we went to pay, after a long wait for a first course, they told us that we had to stay at the table to wait for the bill with two small children!!! The overall service really needs to be reviewed!!!!!

06/08/2025: Carina la location, piccola ma molto accogliente, in veranda si sta benissimo con un fresco naturale. Servizio puntuale, educato e professionale. Le comandi le prende il titolare che sapientemente consiglia. Ottimi e freschissimi i frutti di mare, le tartare e lo sfilettato di pesce fresco. Buona scelta dei primi e validissima ,tutto nelle giuste proporzioni. Vari i secondi di mare ho gustato la grigliata mista di mare. Il costo onestissimo in linea con l'ottima qualità. Molta attenzione per chi soffre di intolleranze. Dovremo tornarci lo merita.

29/06/2025: For us, the best beach club in Puglia. The location by the sea is simply beautiful. Everything is very spacious and very stylish. The service is exceptional. It starts with a smile in the morning from Federica. She's such a friendly and helpful person. Simply wonderful. Then Philipo shows you to your lounger and is always there if you need anything. This is pure vacation. 😍😎😍

15/08/2025: We venture into the center of Carovigno during a festive week, unfortunately surrounded by incredible cacophony. Fortunately, we dine at Caminetto, which offers simple, homemade, yet tasty dishes. The atmosphere is simple yet quiet, with good service. I was able to relax and enjoy the evening away from the chaos. I will definitely be back.

14/08/2025: Osteria Al Caminetto is located at Via Regina Margherita 11, in the heart of Carovigno's historic center, just steps from the Dentice di Frasso castle—a convenient and central location. The restaurant is cozy, intimate, homey, and slightly rustic—perfect for those who appreciate authenticity, but inevitably means limited seating. The cuisine is definitely the heart of the place: homemade, generous dishes, faithful to Apulian tradition: orecchiette with turnip tops, tagliolini with scampi, a house antipasto with over 15 courses, a large fried fish platter, snails, mixed roast meats, and much more. Prices are more than fair, generally between €20 and €30 per person, with appetizers around €14 and seafood/meat main courses between €9 and €11. Numerous reviews praise the excellent value for money: "Sincere cuisine, with local products cooked divinely according to tradition." "The cuisine is excellent, and the value for money is the restaurant's strong point." The kindness of the owners and the friendliness of the staff are highly appreciated: "Super friendly and excellent service. Good food... tiramisu... very courteous and helpful staff." 01/08/2025: Excellent bar, fast service, and the cold espresso is delicious, especially when paired with one of the pastries from the vast selection of artisanal patisseries. For those who love Spritz, Anna is a master of aperitifs. Highly recommended.

31/07/2025: Change the summer opening hours. Since it's not even in the center, it's not easy to reach on foot, and if you arrive and find it closed because the opening hours haven't been changed online, it's not nice.

15/08/2025: We came here attracted by the all-you-can-eat meatball offer. It's nice, but they don't give you anything for free. First of all, the price is no longer €15 but €20, which is also reasonable considering the cover charge is included, so if you buy a water for two, you can get by for €21 each. The all-you-can-eat option works in phases. The first is the meatball phase. Once you've finished the meatballs (which is a sampling of 24 meatballs per person, of 8 different types, so 3 of each per person), comes the pizza phase (which is now a regular pizza, not the mini-pizza like before). If you finish the pizza, you can go back to the meatball phase. And so on. You choose the pizza flavor at the beginning and it stays the same throughout the rounds. In the end, after a whole pizza and a round of meatballs, everyone is practically full, so the price is like getting a pizza and a €10 appetizer of meatballs. The meatballs are good and come in a variety of flavors, but they're a big savings. Half of them are actually potato croquettes or rice balls (mini arancini), and the meat ones are basically just bread. The wait times need improvement. We arrived at 7:30 PM, and after an hour from opening, despite being the only ones there and 5-6 waiters flitting around, we were left standing at the entrance for 5 minutes. Once seated, we waited a quarter of an hour just to order, even though we'd already told them we were there for the all-you-can-eat option. I made sure to explain how the all-you-can-eat option works in the review because when I asked for information on the phone when I made the reservation, I was told, "You come first, and we'll explain how it works later." Despite this, I highly recommend the place. It's a new idea, and I really appreciate it, with the necessary improvements.

17/08/2025: Ferragosto Lunch We didn't use the hotel, but we did have lunch on Ferragosto. Nothing to complain about regarding the food and the waiters' service; it was fair for the price we paid. Unfortunately, at least for us, there was entertainment between courses, with dancing and loud music. The weather stretched exponentially, and the air, with insufficient air conditioning, became suffocating despite opening some doors because the outside temperature was more pleasant than the inside, with people sweating like they'd run a marathon, given all the dancing. It's a shame; background music would have been ideal. The view was beautiful, right on the sea.

31/07/2025: The building is old but very clean. Friendly staff, modest food. The hotel is located overlooking the sea. The only downside is the weather, which wasn't the best; otherwise, everything was excellent.
