03/01/2025: Locale piccolo ma molto accogliente e familiare. Siamo ritornati dopo essere già stati quest'estate durante la nostra vacanza in San Vito e abbiamo riscontrato che, non a caso, la denominazione della pizzeria corrisponde alla bravura del pizzaiolo, che - con vera maestria - ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative anche dopo aver richiesto il bis. Una vera bontà anche le polpette di carne e le patatine, che hanno stupito i nostri sensi già prima di mangiare le pizze, la cui scelta è stata veramente sofferta per la vastissima varietà a prezzi assolutamente contenuti. Gentilezza, disponibilità e pulizia fanno da contorno al servizio offerto . Ve lo consigliamo davvero!!!!

08/06/2025: We went for dinner last night. The place is excellent. We ordered the appetizers, which are several small dishes and a cold cuts and cheese board. Everything was delicious and very filling! We didn't know where to go for dinner, but this place pleasantly surprised us. They brought us the dishes little by little, and one was better than the other! The service is also noteworthy. We don't speak much Italian, and they explained the menu options calmly so we could understand. Totally recommended!

16/05/2025: We went there two years ago and the dishes were DELICIOUS and original. This year, we were very disappointed because the dishes didn't live up to our expectations at all. Too bad...has this osteria been a victim of its own success and become a tourist trap?

15/05/2025: Lovely restaurant tucked into a cave. Well decorated. Believe it or not they had gluten free bread and gluten free pasta available and the staff was knowledgeable on options available.

L’esperienza inizia sin dall’ingresso, dove l’accoglienza si distingue per garbo, attenzione e una rara capacità di far sentire l’ospite davvero atteso. Le due sale interne, arredate con gusto sobrio e contemporaneo, raccontano una sensibilità per il dettaglio che si riflette in ogni aspetto del servizio: dalla presenza discreta ma apprezzatissima di portaborse sotto i tavoli, alla cura delle toilette, dove in quello delle signore uno specchio a figura intera rivela una premura ormai sempre più rara. Il menu si distingue per originalità e ricercatezza: ingredienti mai banali, talvolta sorprendenti, sempre ben calibrati e trattati con rispetto. I piatti, si presentano raffinati nella forma quanto generosi nel gusto, sostenuti da una materia prima di qualità eccellente. La cantina, ben fornita, spazia con intelligenza tra etichette del territorio e proposte più ampie, sempre in linea con l’identità della cucina. Una menzione doverosa va ai proprietari, la cui presenza non è mai invadente, ma decisamente centrale: raccontano i piatti con passione autentica, guidano con garbo nelle scelte e contribuiscono in modo determinante a rendere l’esperienza memorabile. In carta anche interessanti proposte di terra, a conferma di una versatilità che non tradisce coerenza. Fuori Porta è un ristorante in cui si torna volentieri — e più di una volta — certi di trovare ogni volta qualcosa in più da scoprire.

02/12/2024: Il locale certamente non è bello né chic, è molto lontano da mode e tendenze, non ha nulla di esotico o ricercato. È una buona pizzeria di un piccolo paese del sud, dove si possono gustare poche cose fatte con buoni ingredienti e tanta passione, e dove si spendono cifre veramente commuoventi. Grazie.

The service is truly kind, attentive and friendly, the cuisine feels like it belongs to those who put a lot of love and commitment into it with seriousness. The ingredients are of excellent quality and the combinations of the dishes fully enhance it without being too complex. The attention to aromatic herbs, aromas and the balance of dishes is very high. We have discovered a rarity that has an edge. ♥️
