The owner is the brother of the same family (friendly, welcoming), the hostess is an excellent "mother in the kitchen," and her daughter is extremely helpful and kind.
A family-friendly and peaceful atmosphere!
I hope I can always find a seat when I need it.

25/08/2025: The pizzas are good, but I think it's important to point out that ketogenic dough requires a specific phone call. We specified that we were diabetic, but that wasn't enough, and we found ourselves in an awkward situation at dinnertime. Fortunately, the staff was able to source a base. The wait is a bit long, but the dough is very good, even the keto one, which contains a total of 4 carbohydrates. Cereal-based and gluten-free bases are also available (with a dedicated oven).

20/08/2025: My husband and I arrived in Ceglie Messapica around 2:30 PM after a long journey, wandering through the town tired and hungry as wolves, but luckily we found this delightful little place still open. Despite the late hour, the owners kindly seated us and served us a tasty mix of local cured meats and cheeses, as well as a selection of delicious vegetables in oil prepared by them, all washed down with an excellent Rebo. Excellent quality ingredients, flavors that express the full spirit of Puglia, and we will never forget the genuine courtesy with which we were welcomed. Absolutely fair prices. A place to keep in mind for a return visit.

Every time you come here, it's an experience, not just a simple breakfast at a café!

22/03/2026: Unfortunately, since my finances don't allow me to spend €36 for two aperitifs with exactly two mini sandwiches and two mini pizzas, I won't be returning to this bar. I would have given it three stars. But I'm taking the other two off because they made me eat some taralli that were supposedly gluten-free...and I'm celiac. Serious oversight.

27/10/2025: We celebrated my son's graduation today....what can I say? Aldo, the exceptional owner, welcomed us, listened to us, and fulfilled our every request. The food was excellent and high-quality, prepared with that special touch that never hurts. Everything was excellent and plentiful. We will definitely be back.

The house appetizer was truly delicious, with fresh products prepared with professionalism and a lot of Oritano heart. The hot appetizers arrived piping hot, everything with a typical Oritano flavor, and the pizza was equally good. Compliments to the waitress who, in addition to serving us, also pampered us with her kindness. She was excellent! ❤️ Compliments to the owner, Massimo, who upholds the name "Ristorante Pizzeria da Saverio." Compliments to everyone! 💯
I regret not taking photos of the wonderful appetizer dishes, but I was too busy enjoying them! 😋😋😋

25/01/2026: Beautiful restaurant in an old, rustic trattoria style, with meticulous attention to detail. Friendly staff. Excellent pizza. It's a shame we waited a bit too long for service. Perhaps that's how it is on a Saturday. In any case, we'll definitely return and recommend it.

Extremely friendly and helpful service, and below-average prices. The pizza is good, and I recommend making it even thinner for the best!
