30/03/2025: siamo andati in questo umile ristorante “IL BUCO” a prenderci un semplice gelato, siamo stati molto educati e pazienti con i personali del locale perché siamo delle persone garbate ed educate a differenza loro! ci siamo seduti ai tavoli come TUTTE le altre persone che stavano in quel locale, quando ad una cerca notiamo che le cameriere ci stavano letteralmente squadrando e parlando tra di loro con le seguenti parole “questi mo si devono alzare di qua! falli alzare” ecc e hanno aggiunto “non hanno pagato” NONOSTANTE AVEVAMO ORDINATO E PAGATO! ad una certa arriva una umile ragazza che in modo molto maleducato ci caccia dal locale come se fossimo dei bambolotti! tra altro abbiamo trovato dei capelli dentro al gelato veramente disgustoso!! VI SCONSIGLIO!

07/01/2025: I had dinner at the Portanova restaurant in Ostuni for New Year's Eve dinner. The location is enchanting, with a splendid panoramic view, and the service was impeccable: the waiters were kind and friendly. However, I must report that the dinner did not live up to expectations. The meat arrived cold and a first course was not to my liking. The rest of the courses were good, but the overall experience could have been better.

19/01/2025: We had a family lunch, we felt at home, very good and above all genuine food, impeccable service, beautiful place!! We will return with pleasure.

02/12/2024: A magical getaway! We rented three trulli apartments at the end of the season (November) and stayed here to explore Puglia, and we couldn't be happier with the food, service, and surroundings. All our interactions with Patrizia and her family were lovely, and they were even kind enough to let us borrow some flour and butter when we decided to make our own "picnic" lunch. The rooms are comfortable, updated, and warm (in the cold weather!); the toddlers loved running around on the grass and the little playset (swing, mini climbing wall, slide) on the property. We all loved the very friendly cats, dogs, and peacocks and the roamed the grounds, and our kiddos loved making the morning rounds to see the horses, donkeys, cows, and chickens too! Breakfast each day was fresh and delightful (standard continental fare) and the pool looked beautiful, though it was too cold by then for us to use. Overall had a really relaxing and beautiful stay here, and would highly recommend to anyone-- especially families and groups!

21/02/2025: This was recommended by a Slow Food guide, and I was thrilled that it was open in January when so many other places were closed. The meal felt special. First, the bread was good, not just obligatory filler. We ordered the house antipasti to share between the two of us and were astonished at how much food kept coming. I was especially fond of a crispy stacked zucchini assembly that I don’t know the name of and also the marinated aubergine slices. Our main courses were also delicious. I would also like to mention the kindness of the team that fed us, both front-of-house and kitchen. I felt in the presence of goodness.

19/02/2025: We wished we spoke better Italian to properly thank the chef! Experiencing Puglia in winter where there is not a soul and somehow we found the perfect place to have a comforting meal. Service and food impeccable, we felt welcomed and the food was delicious! 100% recommend.

28/03/2025: Dinner with my husband, a place I have never visited.... and I was surprised that we have excellent places and we don't value them when we go to eat there ❤️ Very familiar restaurant, small, welcoming and clean, excellent service, fast, polite and smiling staff, exquisite food, plentiful and varied, there are only 5 stars but I would give 10 and more

23/03/2025: Youthful and modern pub with cheerful and kind owners (I went on a Saturday evening with a friend) who know how to welcome customers with kindness and friendliness. High quality food. I had a mixed roast meat and it was delicious. High quality and very tasty meat, mixed fritturine (chips, aubergine meatballs and mozzarella) very good. Friendly waiters who are very quick to serve and satisfy customer requests. People, try it for yourself, go to this Pub. 12/03/2025: Let me start by saying that it was a Saturday and that there were a lot of people, the reservation was for 10pm, we were seated immediately without waiting. Considering the people who were there, the service wasn't bad, the waiters were kind. The food disappointed us, meat not bad but side dishes either completely raw (grilled vegetables) or completely burnt (baked potatoes), disappointing pizza and very dry hamburger bun. Prices are normal being a place in the square. The place itself is beautiful and there is a nice atmosphere

23/03/2025: I'm giving one star because you can't give less. I ordered a piadina with raw ham and mozzarella. The staff was very rude and, despite the evidence of the empty foot, insisted that they make piadinas like that. Then, despite the foot being disgusting, I paid €6.00 ​​for it.

26/03/2025: It was a fantastic experience to walk through the area, the castle, and the restaurant with the owner's guidance. Since 1600, the 100-hectare property with olive trees and the beautiful castle has been passed down from generation to generation. The area and the building are breathtaking, especially when lit up at night. In the restaurant, we take part in a fantastic multi-course dinner, accompanied by a performance by dancers. Every course of the dinner was perfect, the evening was a real experience.

05/11/2024: I can only review the restaurant as we were there for dinner only. I had seen a lot about this place in social media so at first I was sceptical as the instagrammable places usually end up being disappointing BUT Masseria Salamina absolutely met and exceeded all expectations! The pasta was done to perfection and the fish (according to my boyfriend) was perfectly tender. And of course how can I miss the stunning atmosphere in the courtyard- spectacular! We would love to come back and stay overnight!

07/04/2025: Good pizza, good atmosphere and service. Except that now the prices are a bit high, before you spent €14-15 on pizza and beer, now you need €20 per person
