30/07/2024: The quality of the fish is excellent but the service is a joke... the cost of an appetizer is 16 euros and I expect a dish to arrive that is worth the same, if then instead of a plate of tartare I get 2 I expect them to be included in the cost provided by the menu, given that no one told me about the double price!! I'm sorry, the quality of the fish is good but the cunning of the restaurant manager is terrible!!

24/07/2024: Arrivati per un pranzo a due e ordinato iniziando con antipasto di polpo su crema di patate (sarò di parte ma eccellente veramente) passati al primo di cavatelli al basilico molto buoni di ottima fattura. I dolci strepitosi!! Servizio all'altezza con la dovuta riservatezza apprezzato da entrambi i commensali, conto che rispecchia i prodotti di qualità. Consiglio vivamente.

19/08/2024: My friends and I stumbled upon this place by chance, on a very heavy rain afternoon during a tour of Trani and we found a perfect and familiar welcome that turned our afternoon around. Despite the time (it was around 3pm) they did not hesitate to satisfy our requests: glasses of wine and delicious dishes. Indeed, even though the place was already full, we were also found a table to eat at while waiting for the storm to end. Thanks to Giosuè and all the staff for the special welcome. See you soon! 01/09/2024: Accidental discovery at midday. At first we had problems understanding the menu, so when we were about to leave, the very nice and competent waiter came and gave us advice - luckily! My wife needs gluten free, I don't like fish. In each case he found something very suitable. Gluten free pasta with seafood and fish, I got Orechiete Barletta style. The open wine was also very good. Then another lemon sorbet. Delicious! Thank you and gladly again!

12/07/2024: The owner and the waiter are two very kind and nice people, attentive to customers' needs. We had a good dinner, excellent and light food. My son enjoyed the curry ravioli. Excellent!! We will definitely be back, it's a shame that we live in Friuli😅 but we'll definitely go next holiday!!!

My wife and I decided to go to the restaurant on the day indicated above, I hadn't been there for a long time, I must repeat myself, they reconfirmed themselves in everything, quality, professionalism, competence, recommended and to be returned with pleasure.

16/08/2024: Refined quiet place. Courteous owners who pay attention to intolerances. Excellent quality food. All courses were excellent. I highly recommend it.

14/08/2024: A good welcome. The service is attentive and the managers are pleasant. The wine is good with a varied choice. but the overall experience is a bit disappointing. Of the 4 dishes we did not choose a single one. The shrimp carpaccio was good but lacked freshness (good quality but not cold enough). The pasta lacked flavor and the whole thing was a little bland. The fish dish did not go well with the spinach and sauce. We still had a good time but coming from Brittany we were a little disappointed by the flavors. The presentation is intended to be rather gastronomic but the promises are not there.

26/08/2024: Both the marinated trilogy and the glazed octopus are excellent. The fettuccine is among the best sea urchin dishes I have tried and even better are the tubettoni with fish and fennel soup full of fruit and fish and with a very tasty sauce. The tiramisu and millefeuille are also good. Quality wine list with acceptable mark-ups. Average prices for the place but competitive for the quality of the dishes.

26/08/2024: We returned here after 22 years for lunch with my family and everything was to our liking. Very kind staff, dishes with attention to detail and a very well-kept environment.

21/05/2024: C’è la trattoria alla moda, finta, ove mangiare più o meno come una volta; ma c'è anche la "vera" trattoria, dove il tempo pare essersi fermato e dove, varcando la soglia cigolante di un ingresso antico, pare di entrare in una macchina del tempo e finire in un'altra epoca... questo è l'effetto che fa la Trattoria del cerriglio, ex osteria, dove tutto sembra essere cristallizzato ad un secolo fa. Amatissimo e conosciutissimo in città, il nonno titolare, oste come quelli di una volta, che gestiva l'osteria di famiglia nata nel 1864, ha lasciato la sua eredità morale alla figlia e alla di lei figlia, che continuano oggi a gestire questa piccolissima trattoria come se nulla fosse cambiato da allora. L'aria, gli arredi, i colori, tutto è proprio d'epoca: solo il sorriso della titolare e della figlia sono nuovi e sinceri, come ciò che la casa propone. Pochi piatti, semplici e genuini, niente fronzoli, pulizia e ordine a farla da padrone. Che meraviglia... aggiungete un costo giusto, non troppo basso perché la qualità ha i suoi costi, e uscirete dalla macchina del tempo con un sorriso sulle labbra, un lieve stordimento per l'esperienza vissuta e tanta, tanta voglia di ritornarci. Grazie, davvero grazie di esistere!
