09/11/2024: Tornare “a casa” è a volte doveroso per il sol fatto di dover rispettare e soddisfare le proprie alte esigenze… Accomodarsi, da Jamentè, non è un’esperienza “solo” gastronomica ma un’esperienza totalizzante che coinvolge, ed esalta, i sensi… Vista, olfatto, gusto, vengono letteralmente travolti e coinvolti dall’uso di tecniche mai banali, da ricercati ingredienti impeccabilmente accostati ed assemblati con sapienza, presentati poi, non per ultimo, con assoluta maestrìa. Tutti. Sempre ! Cantina di assoluto alto livello, accoglienza calorosa e molto, molto professionale, servizio impeccabile per risultare, appunto…una gemma. La crescita è continua, costante, evidente, stupefacente. L’obiettivo è oramai lì ad un passo…nel cielo dipinto di blu.

10/12/2024: Excellent food and very familiar atmosphere. Restaurant located in the historic center of Polignano a Mare, very easy to get to, run by the third generation of the family that owns it and founded in 1926. We were served by the waiter Domenico (belonging to the family), who treated us in a friendly manner. and helpful. We ate as a starter or first course: “Strozzapreti alle Vongole” and “Cavatelli ai Frutti di Mare” and then as a second course we served a “Frittura Mista di Pesche”, all accompanied by a house white wine. Highly recommended and if we ever return to Polignano a Mare we will surely eat there. Congratulations to the entire team that makes it up.

06/12/2024: Ambiente elegante e atmosfera serena. Personale attento, educato e professionale. Il banco pesce ben fornito. Abbiamo mangiato sia i crudi: crostacei, mitili (un pò troppo piccoli) e pesce, che del pesce cotto con contorno di verdure e olive, tutto molto buono. Prezzo giusto

11/12/2024: Prenotate almeno all'ora di pranzo per la cena, Posto informale e confortevole, bisogna aspettare abbastanza per le ordinazioni ma ne vale la pena.

04/11/2024: Ottimo ristorante e servizi, purtroppo ho riscontrato una pecca, non si poteva ordinare una varietà di più primi perché in cucina non erano attrezzati per questa richiesta. Strano che un ristorante così grande non sia preparato per un servizio così vario.

06/07/2024: An enchanting location where you can fully enjoy the local flavors thanks to the skill of chef Mario who puts a lot of passion into everything he prepares. Quality and tradition are present in every dish, from appetizers to pizzas: everything perfect. I recommend anyone to make a stop at Mario's, it's worth it.

05/07/2024: Quality and friendliness: one of the very few places that encompasses both aspects. Run by Mario and Miriam, fantastic people who express professionalism and experience through the goodness of their dishes. I go back every time I can, highly recommended. In summer, you can enjoy the view of the square thanks to its outdoor tables.

12/09/2024: Peor experiencia... sin servicio... camareros groseros... hemos tenido la mejor experiencia en otros lugares... por favor asegúrese de reservar restaurantes... como no lo hicimos y hay una buena razón por la que este es bastante... incluso cuando intentamos pagar... esperamos 20 minutos y finalmente tuvimos que caminar al frente pasando por nuestros camareros que no estaban haciendo nada... , tratamos de hablar italiano y fuimos super educados... así que no entienda la falta de servicio !!!

30/09/2024: Different and very very good focaccia, you can go out and eat it on the street appreciating a beautiful landscape. I give the service a two since the girl who served us did not explain to us that one could choose the size of the piece since it goes by weight, I feel that she took advantage and served us a giant piece. But recommended.

28/08/2024: Summer dinner that is repeated as a tradition, year after year. Cozy place, elegant but not too formal. Superb quality raw material. Fish treated with wisdom and respect. Try typical raw black mussels, purple Gallipoli prawns and the amazing natural fish carpaccio: like tasting the sea in just a few bites. Also excellent are mussels au gratin and tasty spaghetti with the catch of the day. Pairing with Chablis 2020, at the correct serving temperature. You pay what it's worth.

10/12/2024: In the beautiful escape report, on Puglia discovery of Polignano a mare and this bar. We really wanted to discover their special coffee. We were not disappointed. It's excellent! Typical place, friendly, with a warm welcome. We recommend it. Their ice cream looks delicious.
