08/01/2026: Fantastic experience at Gelateria Caruso! The staff was incredibly kind, courteous, and friendly, and even let us taste all the flavors before choosing. The gelato was absolutely delicious—highly recommended! The crepes were also excellent, with so many flavors available. Absolutely not to be missed!

The lean meat is much better. I'd give it a 4 for that reason.

The service is warm and genuine, thanks to the wonderful gentleman who runs the place, and the atmosphere feels both unique and welcoming. The focaccia is absolutely delicious (and no, it’s not pizza! 😁), making the whole experience feel special, authentic, and pleasantly affordable. A real hidden treasure that I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a genuine local taste.

03/12/2025: This little focaccia we discovered in Polignano a Mare was truly wonderful. We tried the tomato focaccia, a Puglia specialty, and it was delicious. Seeing how popular the place was, we were curious to try it, and I'm so glad we did. Although small and crowded, the delicious flavors made it all worth it. We felt lucky to have chosen this place.
15/10/2025: Excellent, delicious focaccia, long queues and a place not suitable for a meal on site, between the people waiting in line and the people already inside, there is nowhere to eat, not even standing outside the place because, probably the residents have put up signs prohibiting stopping to eat... excellent bakery for what it produces, but then I don't know where to eat it.

05/03/2026: Lovely place. We found it quite by chance, as we strolled along the lungomare in Poligniano. Small restaurant with a wonderful sea view.
I had a whole grilled octopus (lovely presentation on a wood board) and a sauteed rapigni as a side dish and my husband had a seafood salad. Plus a bottle of wine. Both dishes were absolutely wonderful. Seafood was fresh, cooked to perfection. Service was quick.
The restaurant is unpretentious, has lovely fresh marine theme to it.

01/03/2026: This restaurant is a must-visit when we visit Polignano. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, the location is stunning, and the service is impeccable. We always feel pleasantly spoiled by the staff. We were there yesterday for lunch and ordered two appetizers, which included various seafood specialties, and two first courses: Troccoli with red shrimp and artichokes and Paccheri with oysters and sea urchin pulp. We enjoyed everything.
