20/01/2026: Welcoming and quiet, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Service is prompt, courteous, and well-organized. Delicious appetizers, fried foods, and truly top-notch pittule! Excellent pizza and pan pizza, with a light, expertly-made dough. Abundant mixed roast meats. Excellent bottled wine from the De Castri winery (a guarantee of quality). Highly recommended.

Choose your dish—poke, sandwich, or salad (custom options are also available)—and go to the cashier to pay using a device. When the device rings, you pick up your dish. Very fast service, and the products are varied and high-quality. I recommend it for a different kind of lunch or dinner!

23/01/2026: A welcoming place and seafood-based food, excellently paired with garden ingredients, such as the seafood parmigiana. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. Various tasting menus are available to suit all tastes and budgets.

The cuisine is its true strength: dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and meticulous attention to detail. The service is professional, friendly, and always attentive to the customer's needs, without ever being intrusive. 08/03/2026: In 2026, it's unthinkable to be served on plastic plates and paper tablecloths. If I go to a restaurant, I want to pay a fair cover charge. To be honest, I don't remember whether we were charged or not. The quality of the food wasn't good enough for me. For such a renowned establishment (they say), I would have expected much more.

16/01/2026: I'm not from Puglia, so this "fornello" was a real surprise for me. Everything was good, and the price was really good. Highly recommended.

03/01/2026: Delicious and very inexpensive. Sweetest wait staff, amazing fries, table wine is so ridiculously cheap. Ate here 2 nights in a row because I enjoyed it so much. Also they offer multiple meat options which is almost impossible to find here. Love this place!

23/02/2026: Our boat ride to the Grotto was canceled due to rough seas, so we went on a drive and stopped off at a great experience last summer. Friendly and helpful service. We ate things that we wouldn't normally eat raw, but the seafood was fresh and much less saltier than what we are used to back home. I now know why Italian white wines don't pair as well with these items back home. Cleaner taste and less salt. Thanks for opening my eyes.

01/02/2026: I used to be a regular customer (at least once a week) at this fish shop, despite the slightly higher-than-average prices, because I've always found the quality to be above average. This time, however, the one-star rating is due to an incident that really pissed me off. Last week, I went there to buy everything I needed to make seafood risotto. I never buy mixed seafood because I like to mix and match the ingredients to my liking. I also buy unopened mussels because I like to open them myself to use their water. This time, however, it was late and I didn't have time to open them, so I opted for the so-called clean-shell mussels. I should preface this by saying that I hate Spanish mussels because they have a smell and taste that I don't like, even though they're larger than the others. That said, I asked an employee working the mussel counter (to be fair, not the foreigner, who has always been kind and professional) if the clean-shelled mussels were Spanish, because they're often the ones used for clean-shelled mussels. He was a middle-aged man I often see cleaning fish, and that day he was working alongside the foreigner. He replied that they were of Adriatic origin, and despite my asking for further reassurance, he assured me. So I decided to buy them and go home to make the risotto. Needless to say, as soon as I dropped the mussels into the risotto, a terrible odor was released, rendering it inedible and forcing me to throw it away, resulting in considerable financial loss (clams, white walnuts, cockles, tagliatelle, prawns, and scampi). Not to mention the fact that my Sunday lunch was ruined. Unfortunately, this episode has made me so angry that I just can't get over it. So much so that I've decided never to return to this fish shop again. I feel sorry for them, but I'll spend my money elsewhere.

12/01/2026: We had lunch on New Year's Day, sitting down at 1:30 PM and being served at 3 PM. The food didn't live up to expectations; in fact, it was quite poor. We were very disappointed.

23/12/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An authentic experience in the heart of Lecce We dined at Locanda Arcu te Pratu and the experience exceeded our expectations. The setting beneath the historic arch is very evocative and creates a truly special atmosphere. The cuisine is authentic, prepared with quality ingredients and well-balanced in flavor. The service is professional, friendly, and attentive, while the good selection of wines perfectly complements the experience. A restaurant recommended for those seeking quality, tradition, and a characteristic setting in Lecce. We will definitely return.

11/11/2025: A fantastic experience for San Martino! 💫 I went to this restaurant to celebrate San Martino, and I must say it was a truly special experience! The food is all typically Salento, prepared with genuine ingredients and with that authentic flavor that makes you feel at home. From appetizers to desserts, every dish was carefully prepared, rich and plentiful, a true celebration of flavors and tradition. The local wines were also excellent, perfect to accompany the dishes. A special thanks to Antonio, the owner, always welcoming, kind, and attentive, and to Timo, the chef, whose skill brings the soul of Salento cuisine to the table. A warm and convivial place, ideal for an evening with friends or family. Highly recommended for those who want an authentic experience and enjoy true Salento cuisine, characterized by abundance, quality, and conviviality! 🍷🍇✨

05/11/2025: Last week, I went to dinner with some friends. It's hard for me to return to this place. The welcome was very pleasant and different from usual. The new autumn pizza was the best (cream of pumpkin, scamorza, and pancetta, delicate and crispy dough with red cabbage) along with the cabbage salad as an entree, really not bad. Once we were seated and chose our beverage (the wine selection is very respectable, even though I rarely toast anymore), the classic pittule to break the wait for the main courses: ravioli del plin with stew, fish in a salt crust, pecorino cheese with tomato sauce, seasonal vegetables cooked in every way. Dessert and coffee to finish. Everything was sooooo good. The bill was very fair. The staff was friendly. Thank you, and see you next time. PS: I'm not attaching photos of the dishes because my hands and cutlery were busy with the courses and, if necessary, sharing the dishes. 😋😋😋
