18/10/2025: Open for dinner everyday except on on Monday, La Svolta is, to me (and I am Italian) pretty much what makes eating in Italy great! The owner is very friendly, the food is amazing (I strongly suggest you try the Bari specialties like orecchiette alle cime di rapa and riso, patate e cozze) and the prices are right. This is what Italian food is all about - forget fancy restaurants, here is where it's at!

At the end of the meal, we learned about the ethos of the restaurant, which works with a local farm and seasonal products. PERFECT

05/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance on a Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is large and welcoming, with a lovely garden, friendly service (thank you Antonella!), and music that made us feel good and entertained! We'll be back!

05/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday...we ate divinely flavorful dishes and finished with a sublime dessert. A gourmet lunch that left us absolutely satisfied.

20/09/2025: Had an aperitivo 2 days ago. The food was stale and of terrible quality. I paid €9.50 for a San Pellegrino cocktail and a small plate of stale, inedible food at the counter (otherwise, I wouldn't know the price if I were sitting down). I won't be back.

11/09/2025: The place has lost a lot. I can't say if it's changed management, but the quality has definitely declined. I once bought some pastries to take home, and they were bad. Once we had a cake, and it made us feel sick. I wouldn't recommend it, except for a coffee on the premises.

07/08/2025: Non è un caso, una coincidenza, ma una certezza, gustare pietanze che deliziano il palato con varietà e ricchezza di pietanze. Sei nel posto giusto se vuoi soddisfare il desiderio di assaporare piatti a base di pesce, il tutto pasteggiato da ottimo vino. Squisitezza e cortesia da parte della simpatica proprietaria. Servizio celere grazie alla professionalità di Marco e Marianna, che si muovono tra i commensali con il loro sorriso contagioso, gentilezza e simpatia. Vi consiglio vivamente di lasciarvi tentare da questa graziosa location.
