19/05/2025: Very good pasticciotto unlike another one tried in the city. Even the espresso (a cross between coffee and cappuccino) was good. Too bad that the person at the cash register, while she was taking our order, started talking calmly with other customers. Therefore, the service and courtesy need to be improved.

11/06/2025: A pleasant discovery in the center of Ceglie Messapica Passing through the land of the Messapians to meet some friends, we were invited to this tavern and we were thrilled. The location is enchanting: a historic building with barrel vaults, furnished with vintage copper pans and ladles, which immediately evoke the flavors and traditions of the past. The staff is courteous and attentive, always ready to accommodate every request. The fish is fresh and the raw seafood is really good. Both the appetizers and the main courses have generous portions, perfect for those who love to eat with taste. Among the dishes that impressed us the most, the fava bean puree with chicory stands out - a classic from Puglia, authentic and full of flavors that bring to mind the stories of our grandparents. The quality of the raw materials is excellent: from the mozzarella to the capocollo of Martina Franca, everything is taken care of in detail. Also not to be missed is the fish on the trolley, selected with experience. Special thanks to Salvatore and Graziana for letting us discover this little gem. It certainly won't be a goodbye, but a see you later!

26/05/2025: I was there for a birthday and the birthday boy had opted for a fixed menu including appetizers, a first course and a second course. Nothing special about the appetizers as we ate the usual things we are used to such as anchovies, bread croutons, cold cuts with cheeses, pizza dough fritters etc.. if you are looking for something different from the usual appetizers this is not the right place. The first courses did not excite anyone and there were 12 of us at the table, average for what you can find everywhere while the meat was good and someone asked for seconds. The owner who at the end of the service asked the birthday boy to leave a tip to the waiters was not very appropriate PS regarding the owner's response. I don't think I said I didn't like your menu in fact I gave 4 out of 5 for the food and also for the service as well as the overall review. I don't allow myself to judge the events between you and the birthday boy because I wasn't there

15/06/2025: Cena tra colleghi di pesce sorprendente e ricca! Ottimo pesce sia per carpacci sia il primo alla gallinella! Il sugo alla gallinella dai sapori veraci e autentici: il vero mare nel piatto! Il tutto accompagnato da un'ottima metodo classico locale consigliato dal preparatissimo e piacevole cuoco Adamo! Ottimi anche i dolci! Torneremo sicuramente

15/05/2025: Restaurant without 1 menu with miserable dishes, service that leaves much to be desired with unprepared staff, 1 lunch for 3 people with only appetizers, 1 fried food and 2 bottles of wine €140 we left still hungry.

27/05/2025: We booked a table specifically for Friday night with some friends at this place, calling a few days before. A place in full “trattoria” style, I liked it! Every Friday night they organize a dinner with a menu based on fried Panzerotti + drink for €15. (Two classic panzerotti with tomato and mozzarella, one with mortadella and provolone, one with tuna and one with strong ricotta, which can be replaced, if necessary, with another panzerotto with tomato and mozzarella) Before the panzerotti, at the table, two well-stocked plates arrived, I want to point out, with pieces of spicy and sweet salami plus cheeses and olives. We really liked the panzerotti, the dough was really light. The service was quite fast, the owners of the place are very kind, friendly and cordial. We were very satisfied, we will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

13/06/2025: Relaxing atmosphere, on the terrace or in the outdoor space below, it is beautiful to taste the wonders of the sea with a splendid view. Very very good and quality cuisine. Even a simple fried fish must be done well...and here they know something about it.

12/11/2024: Sehr freundlicher Service, gute Weine und tolle Speisen inmitten der Altstadt von Lecce. Die Preise sind angemessen und man kann das Treiben der Altstadt beobachten. Wir hatten uns verschiedene kleine Gerichte geteilt und wurden nicht enttäuscht.

Siamo coppie con figli di 10 anni, che abitualmente escono con noi genitori, pertanto portiamo appresso fogli, colori ecc per farli stare seduti e nn disturbare nessuno! Ma questo nn è bastato!!! Il titolare è uscito prima ancora di fare l ordine, andando dai bambini e minacciandoli che se avessero alzato la voce nn gli avrebbe portato la pizza! Noi genitori stupiti, ma abbiamo raccomandato i NS bambini di nn alzare la voce, ma questo nn è bastato!! Siamo andati a pagare, il primo commento è stato della cameriera, dopo aver preso la mancia di Euro 5.00, ha esordito dicendo " menomale, che ve ne state andando!!!"per arrivare al titolare, informandoci che in molti ristoranti nn sono " ammessi" i bambini, Lui ci ha fatto una cortesia!!!! DOPO QUESTO COMMENTO, SIAMO ANDATI E SICURAMENTE NN CI METTEREMO PIÙ PIEDE!!! Pertanto Vi consiglio di frequentare questo posto solo se volete cenare DA SOLI!!
