Trattoria Bar La Pizzica In Andrano

A typical Salento seafood trattoria with a simple yet high-quality menu. Even the most common dishes feature exquisite ingredients. We sampled excellent spaghetti with mussels, where the mussels (we requested clean-shelled mussels, a request granted without hesitation) are from Castro Marina, and the tomatoes are Salento winter cherry tomatoes with a unique flavor and color. The staff were courteous and the owners were extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

Quality/price, familiar, pleasant

Ordinary service. The food is adequate, but lacks soul. The bill is inadequate.

Passing through Salento. A simple place with a beautiful sea view and a breezy outdoor terrace. I enjoyed some delicious breaded and fried anchovies and some fantastic spaghetti with clams, truly delicious. I hadn't had clams like this in a long time! My wife, however, had the seafood pasta and loved it. Friendly and helpful staff, clean place, and reasonable prices. Recommended.

Rustic trattoria, just across the street and you're right on the waterfront. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the staff are very friendly. Prices are a bit high, but the food was very, very good.
