24/08/2025: Recommended by the owners of the B&B where we were staying (Villa Alfea), we had dinner at this beautiful restaurant, which, despite the full dining room, went out of its way to accommodate us. Extremely friendly staff, perfect setting, and excellent food. It's a shame we only discovered it on our last day. The owner's smile and kindness put us in a good mood from the first moment. At the end of the delicious dinner, she very kindly offered us a sample of desserts, which were also delicious. I highly recommend it!

23/08/2025: I tried calling for two days in vain, recommended by friends. Finally, a slightly annoyed lady answered (it was around 12 p.m.). She quickly told me they didn't accept reservations, I should go there and wait. After a few seconds, without letting me speak, she continued, telling me that for the evening, they were all full and that if I wanted, I could go anyway and wait to see if a place became available, but she wasn't sure. I was trying to ask if they had a reservation or not, and she hung up on me. I'm only giving a negative rating for the service, as I didn't try any dishes and can't comment. Either have someone answer the phone, or clearly state on the website that you don't accept reservations.

16/06/2025: Very interesting place. Excellent welcome, and a large (large)) choice of fresh fish with good specialties. Perhaps the staff activity still needs to be fixed, but they are very helpful and kind. Good choice of wines, a little to be reorganized for a better understanding. Price justified by the freshness of the food and the care in the environment

11/08/2025: We booked the "hotel" through Secret Escape because of its location, as it's relatively easy to reach the most beautiful towns in the region. The description didn't mention that it's an event venue. During our stay, there were events like birthday parties, weddings, and techno parties taking place at the pool almost daily – until the early hours of the morning. Restful sleep was impossible due to the enormous noise. The breakfast buffet selection was extremely limited and in no way matched what you would expect from a hotel of this category. The otherwise beautiful pool area was heavily overcrowded with day visitors during the day, as the area is clearly used as a public outdoor pool. Added to that was the surprising rule that the pool could only be used with a swimming cap. What a shame about this beautiful facility.

08/08/2025: Unspeakable. It took them three hours to find out who to talk to about making a restaurant reservation, and after confirming availability and learning there was a Smartbox, they canceled the reservation.

31/08/2025: Most tourists go outside the terrace to eat. But I think the best place to eat is inside the restaurant especially during a hot summer day. In addition, inside the restaurant you're surrounded with Leccese architecture, like the vaulted ceiling and Leccese Stone walls. The furniture are nice and the display of wine is amazing.

13/08/2025: We had some take-away pizzas this evening. The first part was delicious, but as soon as it cooled down a bit it tended to become a bit hard (with an electric oven it tends to do this). It would definitely have been excellent if eaten whole. Overall, the pizzas were well-filled with toppings cut on the spot (beautiful just to look at). The staff were very friendly.

30/08/2025: Nice, clean place, everything in order, but I think four portions of mixed fish, which we all know what that is, three portions of raw shellfish, which among other things was a species I remember as very round, with a fruit that released a brownish color and a repulsive taste (in our opinion), a glass and a half of wine for three, and still mineral water, €183 seems exaggerated to me; perhaps the price included the beautiful sunset. 6/30/2025 I still have the receipt

25/08/2025: The prices on the menu need to be updated compared to those shown in the photo. A fried food costs 12 euros but the restaurant menu costs 18 euros.

23/08/2025: Jamantè was a highlight of my stay in Polignano a Mare. Beautiful setting above the sea, refined yet relaxed atmosphere, and a kitchen that treats local tradition with real creativity. The sommelier made the evening special with thoughtful and unexpected pairings. A place I would gladly return to.

20/08/2025: An exceptional experience at this truly unique restaurant in Polignano. We had a wonderful meal, featuring fresh fish and sophisticated, carefully crafted dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

05/07/2025: La terrazza della macelleria Fumarola è un posto accogliente dove gustare un piatto di carne mista, in particolar modo le bombette martinesi. Il menù tipico comprende un tagliere di salumi e formaggi locali, tra cui il celeberrimo capocollo martinese e poi un piatto di carne mista con patate alla brace Consigliatissimo .

19/08/2025: I was looking for a quick bite to eat after disembarking the ferry and read some reviews of this pizzeria, so I decided to stop in. The terrace was full, but there was a table for me. Unfortunately, there was only one waitress, and she wasn't particularly friendly, for so many tables, so everything was a bit slow. The fried food was cold and hadn't been defrosted properly. The pizza was very mediocre. I haven't tried the restaurant, but maybe that one is good!

25/06/2025: I tried their take away products. Excellent! Great value for money and very generous portions, punctual in collection. Recommended!

21/05/2025: Don't be fooled by the ordinary appearance of the place when you are outside on the street. Step in and experience the warm and welcoming staff and the tastiest panzerotto. The place seems to be favoured by the locals and no wonder why. It become our new favourite spot in Cisternino.
