03/08/2025: We visited this grill restaurant with four adults and a child, and we were truly satisfied! We chose the €25 menu, which included appetizers and five meat courses: everything was simply perfect. The appetizers were plentiful and tasty, but the real star was the meat: tender as butter, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and juicy. A gesture we greatly appreciated was the owner's offering dinner to the child: a rare gesture that demonstrates great hospitality and care for customers. Welcoming place, friendly staff, and fast service. Congratulations!

25/07/2025: How can you eat this and sell it as Sicilian meat? It's pure fact, it's overcooked food. There's no meat at all.

22/07/2025: I went here with my colleague...what can I say...delicious lemon scallops and excellent parmigiana...the atmosphere is bright and clean...the service is kind and fast...I highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

24/08/2025: The lounge bar is attractive, the location, the decor...but...slow service, the waiters don't even know how to carry a tray properly with one hand...the spritzes are speechless...I've drank spritzes all over Italy and Europe so we know what we're talking about...we pay for quality with gusto...it's not for the €7...educate yourself a little and then we'll talk about it again.

13/09/2025: When an unexpected event reveals the true nature of a venue. We had chosen this venue for a joyful event, our son's baptism, trusting in a professionalism that unfortunately proved to be only a facade. Our experience can be summed up like this: following my father-in-law's serious and unexpected hospitalization the day before the event, we were forced, with great regret, to postpone. In the phone call, we immediately informed the restaurant that we understood the loss of the deposit. Instead of finding a modicum of human understanding for an obviously emergency situation, we hit a wall. Their only and adamant concern was charging us an additional €500 on top of the €100 deposit for "expenses already paid." To avoid adding further stress to an already dramatic moment, we paid the requested amount. Subsequently, the restaurant contacted us offering a "restorative lunch." A belated and completely inappropriate gesture, which cannot erase the treatment we received. In a time of crisis, when a manager's professionalism should be demonstrated through empathy and flexibility, we found only coldness and a penchant for money. ​The quality of a restaurant is measured not only by the food it serves, but also, and above all, by the way it treats people. Our rating can only be the lowest possible. To anyone organizing an important event, I suggest you think carefully: if anything unexpected happens, you risk being treated like a problem, not a customer.

05/09/2025: For the second time at Tenuta 801... What can I say? Everything was excellent! Not a single flaw. The beating heart of the Tenuta, Marianna, a delightful person and always on hand for everything! We'd love to keep her close to us in such a business! We felt right at home again! Top, well done!!

05/09/2025: What an excellent place. It’s relatively new and has not taken off yet, but it’s absolutely incredible. Everything is made farm to table with their own garden vegetables. Rigatoni Amatriciana was divine. Perhaps the best tomato pasta I’ve had outside of a Nonna’s kitchen. We also had the beef tartare and the veal agnolotti, which were superb. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Today, once again, they confirm their excellence, both for the location—surrounded by greenery, renovated and meticulously maintained—and for the dishes, which showcased the quality of the ingredients and masterful preparation. Thanks again to the management and the waiters, a balance of professionalism and friendliness, for pampering us on a special occasion: my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.

02/09/2025: We discovered this place thanks to the Lonely Planet guide to Puglia, during our visit to Locorotondo. We immediately felt at ease thanks to the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, who, despite some difficulties during the evening (such as service issues caused by a storm), managed everything with professionalism and attention. The meat dishes were excellent: we chose a mix of grilled pork and beef, truly well prepared.

20/08/2025: Lured by the positive reviews, I booked a dinner here. The service is very slow, the food so-so... the bathrooms are clean but a bit cramped and there's no changing table. The tartare I ordered was actually a joke, the bombettes small but good, the pork strips excellent, the tagliata good, the knife-point sausage very very salty, the potatoes good. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't go back.

29/08/2025: The menu is too long and offers too much choice, which actually affects the quality. The food is average, nothing exceptional. The mixed fried fish and desserts are recommended. The raw fish is not recommended. The prices are a bit steep for the quality of the dishes. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't return.
