08/03/2026: The location is beautiful, but the food isn't so much. We ordered a raw seafood platter that included shrimp and other seafood, but we only received two oysters and about 15 clams: it wasn't fresh (which made us sick). The pasta dishes are very generous. One waiter in particular (over 50), despite our repeated calls, pretended not to hear us, and even took away a plate full of octopus that we still had to eat without asking. The service is truly terrible, as only one person takes orders for all the tables, making it difficult to order anything every time, or at least you have to wait a long time for the waiters to communicate. It's a real shame because the place is wonderful and almost all the waiters are very kind...

26/10/2025: Just inside the historic part of Acquaviva, I highly recommend stopping at Gianfranco. He'll whip up a quick dish of the day straight from the traditional Bari cuisine or an excellent pizza. The portions are generous and the service is always friendly. The spaghetti alla chitarra alla San Giuannid is a real treat.

20/02/2026: Great bar, very good food, but the owners leave a lot to be desired. He smoked inside the bar, and when we came in to order, he was immediately rude. I won't be returning.

27/01/2026: A great place for good coffee with typical Italian snacks. Coffee served at the counter is cheaper than at a table. The service is helpful and friendly. You can enjoy your coffee both inside and in the garden. I recommend it.

The food is typical of a classic pub, but carefully prepared with great attention to detail. There's excellent (very large) space for large groups. The burgers are excellent, and it's clear they're all handmade; even the bread is handmade. __________ We were there in January 2026. 15/10/2025: Authentic little Italian restaurant in Carmota. We ate there twice. The selection of dishes is good and manageable. The service is fast and uncomplicated. The food is served quickly, even when the restaurant is busy. The food is delicious and traditional. Excellent value for money.

10/10/2025: Let's start with the must-try dishes, like spaghetti with clams, the Cilento antipasto, the fried calamari... And finish with the Annurca apple liqueur (amazing!) What else is there to say? Fair prices Ahh, the pizza is delicious too!

08/10/2025: Excellent facility. We stayed in a self-contained unit surrounded by greenery and olive trees. Spacious and clean rooms. The level of relaxation was excellent in mid-September, when mass tourism and the influx of people from the nearby, already closed, campsites seemed to have completely subsided. The breakfast was good.
