18/08/2024: Given that we ate very well, so the reason for the two stars absolutely does not concern the quality of the dishes, which was truly high, but rather the service and hospitality. When ordering, I candidly asked the person who I believe was the owner if the appetizer I was intending to order was "abundant" enough as a main course. His response - and his tone - were, with the utmost respect speaking, quite rude and rude. Both my group of friends and I were quite disoriented, but we still preferred to ignore it. All the service, except the waiter who served us the bill, was generally quite agitated. It's a shame, because, I repeat, it was all very good.

07/08/2024: I gave this place more chances since my brother found himself working for a couple of months in Casarano and his house was literally 200m away, but despite the countless positive reviews it's a no for me. Let's start from the assumption that when I read risto-bar I expected to find a varied menu but instead it is simply a pizzeria. The thing that left me even more amazed was an anecdote told by my brother where one afternoon he wanted to have a coffee outside the house, but they refused, almost annoyed, to serve him because "coffee is reserved for customers". This logic could hold when you were a "pizzeria" but evidently the sign needs to be reviewed or at least understood what they mean by risto-bar. Decent pizza for the proposed price. The last time I went I got a takeaway pizza (only because I didn't have a car) for me and my nephew. 2 portions of chips, a red pizza with frankfurters, a margherita with onion and salami €25. Chips very plentiful but clearly fried at least 2 times and a lot of salt. I wasn't given any sauces (you have to ask for them). In my opinion the price is not justified either by the place which does not seem particularly touristy to me, nor by the quality. I may be biased because, living in northern Sicily, I am used to spending much less (24 hour leavening pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven) eating at the Marina right in front of the Aeolian Islands. For me it's a no.

06/08/2024: Ho dato più possibilità a questo locale visto che mio fratello si è ritrovato a lavorare un paio di mesi a Casarano e casa sua si trovava letteralmente a 200mt, ma nonostante le innumerevoli recensioni positive per me è un no. Partiamo dal presupposto che quando ho letto risto-bar mi aspettavo di trovare un menù vario invece è semplicemente un pizzeria. La cosa che mi ha lasciato ancora più sbalordita è stato un aneddoto raccontato da mio fratello dove un pomeriggio voleva prendersi un caffè fuori casa, ma si sono rifiutati, quasi infatuati, di servirlo perché “il caffè è riservato ai clienti”. Questa logica poteva tenere nel momento in cui foste stati “pizzeria” ma evidentemente il cartello è da rivedere o quanto meno capire cosa intendono per risto-bar. Pizza discreta per il prezzo proposto. L’ultima volta che sono andata ho preso d’asporto (solo perché non avevo la macchina) una pizza per me e mio nipote. 2 porzioni di patatine, una pizza rossa con i würstel, una margherita con cipolla e salame 25€. Patatine molto abbondati ma palesemente fritte almeno 2 volte e molto sale. Non mi sono state date le salse (le dovete chiedere). Il prezzo secondo me non è giustificato nè dal posto che non mi sembra particolarmente turistico, né dalla qualità. Sarò di parte che abitando nella Sicilia settentrionale sono abituata a spendere molto meno (pizza a lievitazione 24h cotta in forno a legna) mangiando alla Marina proprio di fronte le isole Eolie. Per me è un no.

17/08/2024: Mi sono trovata x caso , quindi non leggendo le altre recensioni. Localino carino. Siamo entrati in due e ordinato 2 pinse coca-cola ,acqua e due caffè .Che dire le pinse erano 🤦dure come una pietra, il condimento salato soprattutto il prosciutto, mentre sull altra pinsa la mortadella non era fresca . Prezzi alti soprattutto il coperto 2,50 a persona. Io non lo consiglierei affatto.

09/08/2024: We had dinner in this cute place enjoying excellent chicken meat and mixed vegetables. The service was excellent and fast, compliments to the entire staff. Absolutely highly recommended restaurant!

09/08/2024: Optimal! The place is a bit secluded, close to the town hall, compared to the nightlife that surrounds the walls, but the food is excellent. The Apulian bombette are recommended, the baked potatoes are also excellent. The children enjoyed the chicken sausage and the chicken cut (breaded). Nice staff. Correct prices.

20/08/2024: Friendly management and an environment frequented mainly by middle-aged local people and some tourists. Croissants of various types and table service included in the price. External porch always cool and ventilated even at 40 degrees, now a fixed stop for coffee and croissant before a day at the beach.

12/08/2024: Troppa attesa, tavoli serviti a caso, 40 minuti per un cornetto al tavolo, e il locale non è nemmeno pieno. Tazzine sporche lasciate sul tavolo, e non siamo nemmeno in pieno weekend

21/08/2024: We were pleasantly attracted by this restaurant, in the old village of Gallipoli, we tasted the fish dishes, amberjack, spaghetti alloscoglio and turnip top. A bottle of susumaniello, and a dessert. 50 euros each, in the middle of August. See you next time 😘

25/07/2024: pizzas that look like cardboard, burnt edge on an order of about ten pizzas, 4 wrong, despite having paid for the missing ingredients, really disappointed, I won't be coming back, take a walk at home which is definitely better, not recommended
