07/04/2025: Last Saturday we had dinner, I must say that it exceeded our expectations given that it was the first time, pizzas with 10e praise, sandwiches, the service was tidy and clean, everything and more I highly recommend we will return with friends and relatives to enjoy everything on Thursday

05/05/2025: La Pagghiara in Lecce: 5 well-deserved stars! Excellent food with fresh ingredients and authentic flavours. Exceptional pizza, especially the gluten-free one, the best I tried in Lecce. Very kind, attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommended for excellent cuisine, superlative pizza (even gluten-free) and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

03/05/2025: Booked by phone thinking we could take advantage of the 10 euro menu displayed on their website, unfortunately at the time of the request we were told that it was not possible to have it because it is a menu that can only be taken in the summer period. We opted for some pizzas with excellent dough. Too much waiting to be served, 4 of us were the only diners, one pizza arrived halfway through the tasting of the other 3. We won't be back again…

23/05/2025: Difficult review, because the location is very beautiful and the food was not bad. Some reservations about the prices (definitely higher than average in places of similar quality) and the service. The latter, although courteous and professional, did not put us at ease, with some peaks of "roughness" not exactly pleasant. The main protagonist is the young manager, whose authority is not adequately supported by experience, resulting in being unfriendly and arrogant. The atmosphere, potentially 5-star, was strongly influenced by the fact that we were not allowed to have lunch outside; inside, without air conditioning, the environment was decidedly more "normal", but was strongly altered by the presence of public officials (at least I imagine so, judging by the "blue" cars parked wildly at the entrance complete with regional or state friezes) who, in large numbers, were having lunch at the taxpayers' expense with particularly fine wines. Also because of this presence, the service was slow and rushed. In short: I won't go back, Taranto, if you can't have lunch on the water, has (much) better things.

20/05/2025: A great experience for the palate, very fresh fish and superbly cooked. Not to mention the location that in itself deserves five stars plus. In the city of Taranto there is no more iconic place than this, on the navigable canal, almost under the swing bridge, a stone's throw from the castle.

15/05/2025: Tuve el ragu de orchiette fuera de menú, la mejor pasta de mi vida! El restaurante es como ningún otro en el que haya estado y realmente disfrutamos de la experiencia. Es importante saberlo para tocar la campana ubicada en la puerta principal, ya que mantienen la puerta cerrada como un club privado, y sería fácil pasar pensando que no estaba abierta. No teníamos reservas y tuvimos suerte ya que el restaurante tiene solo un pequeño número de mesas. Admitido por el propietario, nos mostraron en el restaurante que se asemeja a una cómoda gruta o cueva. Nuestra mesa estaba bien situado y por encima de algunos antiguos frascos de aceite de oliva bajo vidrio y ambiente iluminado, increíble y único. Nos dijeron que el restaurante había sido anteriormente una zona de prensado de aceite de oliva por la pareja amable y amable que han sido propietarios del restaurante durante más de 27 años. La comida era increíble y como se enumera arriba, tenía la orchiette ragu fuera de menú, la mejor pasta de mi vida! Cada uno tomó una copa de vino con la cena recomendada por el propietario que maridaba perfectamente con la comida. El postre también fue genial. La relación precio-calidad era muy buena. Ostuni la ciudad blanca es un lugar mágico e increíble, al igual que Caffe Cavour.

14/05/2025: Experiencia inusual. Había hecho la reserva pero cuando llegó puerta estaba cerrada. Parece que solo abren para reservas y solo 4 mesas usadas toda la noche. Solo vaya si está dispuesto a esperar por alimentos recién cocinados. Es como ir a casa de alguien con el equipo de marido y mujer. El vino es muy bueno pero no barato. El restaurante está en una cueva de 1000 años y muy interesante. Digamos que fue una experiencia como ningún otro restaurante.

08/05/2025: Visiting Tricase, wanted to taste real pizza, we were not disappointed! Smiling and welcoming staff, the pizzas are prepared with fresh products and you can feel it!

02/06/2025: I stayed there for two nights for a wedding! End of May! Everything perfect! I would go back, perfect dinner prices low and fair. Excellent breakfast abundant even for those who are lactose intolerant. Very friendly and helpful staff.
