Family atmosphere, welcoming owners who pay attention to customer requests.
Reservations possible both on the fork and for non-à la carte menus.
Recommended for family events but also for couples or groups of friends.
Very close to the beautiful Stresa and easily accessible from the motorway.
Absolutely must try!

Selection of cheeses always of the highest quality, Eros' work is incredible.
The cured meats are very good, here too the quality is unmatched.
Fast and flawless service, chatting with Eros is priceless.
The selection of wines by the glass (with Milanese mark-ups) and beers is perfect.
31/03/2024: An overrated place, the interior is cramped and structured like a corridor and certainly doesn't make you want to stop inside to eat. For many people the cheese factory is something artisanal, not knowing that they get their supplies from companies... nothing incorrect, but many are fooled into thinking that everything is artisanal and local... the prices however are crazy and not justified, some If purchased at the right retailers, these products cost much less.

04/04/2024: I booked a table online, and got both an email notification and whatsapp confirmation.
We arrived with welcoming smiles and great music that made me want to sing-along, but I refrained as to not embarrass my kids.
I ordered the Taglierone which was more than enough for the two of us who were sharing it. The tastes were super, and the kind service offered to wrap the rest up for us to take home.
There is also a kids menu that is offered.
Upon leaving, my daughter got on the free wifi and we won a free dessert! Since we had already ordered dessert, the cost of it was deducted from the bill.
We were kind of flustered upon leaving, and I regret that I didn’t leave a tip because I had no cash with me.
I will surely be back!

Some revisited typical dishes and others absolutely innovative, a wide choice of wines and attention to diet make it the best in the area in my opinion. To try.

05/04/2024: Incredible hotel in every way. The staff reflects the image of the hotel, taking great care.
Even for 1 or 2 nights, to do once in your life, if possible with a lake view.
Even the price is high, less exclusive out of season, to be put into perspective because in what we had paid (directly on the hotel's website), we had 2 breakfasts (also high-end worthy of a brunch at 50 euros) and access to the Spa, not to be missed either!

02/04/2024: Finding vegan options is never easy or obvious but here you can eat very well, simple but very good dishes, a very rich starter and the dessert was truly exceptional (a cake with pistachio mousse and hazelnut brittle and salted caramel, perfectly balanced).
We had a great time and will definitely be back 🤩

26/03/2024: I was disappointed with the Trattoria Vigezzina today. They offer a daily midday lunch menu, but today's was pretty mediocre compared to what was on offer à la carte. Usually with these restaurants, if the midday menu offering is good, then I will be happy to spend more money and visit the restaurant in the evening, when only the à la carte menu is available. But I have no incentive to do so at the Vigezzina. With the presence of the Atelier at the Hotel Eurossola and other decent restaurants in Domodossola which have decent lunchtime menu offers, I see no need to visit the Vigezzina in the future.
Service was not particularly good either. If there are so many diners and the servers are run off their feet, then Vigezzina needs to hire more serving staff. Lastly it was impossible to pay with any credit card because no payment device was functioning. How can this be in a Michelin recommended restaurant, with so many visitors?

17/04/2024: Cucina fantastica e vista che toglie il fiato, non è il solito ristorante e per la qualità ha un ottimo prezzo. Da segnalare è la tartare di chianina...veramente divina.
Inoltre è l'unico ristorante che ho trovato che esibisce il certificato di provenienza della carne e la carne chianina è realmente carne chianina certificata dal consorzio.

03/04/2024: I chose this restaurant after reading a lot of positive reviews, and I came away disappointed.
The taste wasn't exceptional either, but it was still good, no worries there.
On the other hand, in terms of quantity on the plate, I found it exaggerated.
The pasta dish was very light.
The pistachio cream dessert was really a creamy background on the plate.
So the quantity/price ratio is really not great.
Damage...
25/10/2023: Small (less that 24 indoor seats) and cozy with white tablecloth atmosphere. The food and service are top=notch. We both had an appetizer and a second course - in this case we went with the special, agnolotti with porcini sauce. It gets our vote for best ever rendition of a dish we have had many times. The wine list is a good one and very reasonably priced. We would recommend without conditions. Even in October, reservations are essential on weekends.
