07/09/2025: An absolute gem in Torino! From the moment we walked in, the staff at La Ristonomia del Bertola was warm and welcoming. They led us to the table on their quiet terrace and gave us time to make our selections. We started off with some prosecco and they brought out an impressive assortment of bread and a little amuse bouche in the form of ricotta and some spinach leaves. I opted for the tuna filet which I asked to keep quite raw while my husband got the beef tenderloin (fassona). Both of the dishes were cooked and seasoned impeccably! My tuna tasted very fresh and paired perfectly with the accompanying sauce and pok choy. However, funnily the best pairing for both of us was my tuna with my husband's Bernais sauce. With that said, my husband's beef was melt-in-the-mounth tender and tasted incredible! The service remained wonderful throughout the evening and I couldn't recommend this olace more if you happen to be in Turin. Very much a high-end experience with a very reasonable price tag.

29/07/2025: Birthday lunch for my daughter, guests were very satisfied. Excellent food, generous portions, delicious birthday cake... everything was cooked by them. The owner and staff were super helpful!

24/08/2025: A lovely place in a lovely location. It's located on a corner of the square that bisects Via Mensa, a stone's throw from the Royal Palace. We ordered pizza, calzones, mussels, and fried fish. The pizzas and calzones were well-seasoned, a little overcooked for our taste, and sometimes a little burned. A generous portion of mussels and average fried fish (vegetables, rings, tentacles, 1 prawn, and 1 scampi for €22). An excellent glass of prosecco and good wine by the glass. Water, two soft drinks, 1 small beer, half a liter of wine, 1 glass of prosecco, 3 desserts, 3 calzones, 3 pizzas, 1 portion of mussels, 1 fried fish, 1 coffee, and 1 grappa, all for about €155 for 8 people. The desserts were very good. Excellent service. It was a Saturday evening in August, and we were seated at 8:00 PM, but by 9:00 PM we were practically finished. Despite all the outdoor tables being occupied, they were really quick. Very well organized.

23/08/2025: A good restaurant in Venaria, with high-quality ingredients, excellent service, and beautiful dining rooms, especially those upstairs. The pizza is also recommended! Excellent value.

10/06/2025: Good food but expensive in my opinion. Second and side dish + 1/2 water + coffee for 11€. There are places like this where you pay 8€ for what I had. I will not go back.

12/04/2025: Peccato che abbiamo scoperto questo locale a fine stagione invernale. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, arredata con stile montagna. Il menù è diversificato e soprattutto ben cucinato. Ottimi gli gnocchi ai formaggi e la girella di plin. Buona la pizza, così come i dolci. Proprietari e staff estremamente gentili e sorridenti. Difficili riscontrare tanta qualità e gentilezza in alta montagna! La prossima stagione ci recheremo spesso. CONSIGLIATO

08/04/2025: Beautiful restaurant in a dream location! The dishes are excellent, they take up tradition with some very interesting reinterpretations! The staff is very friendly. Alberto welcomed us with professionalism and friendliness and Giuseppe also gave me information on the dishes I tried, which I appreciated very much! Super recommended!

01/09/2025: Kindness and honesty! When does the owner ever recommend ordering one less dish because he knows the portions he's serving? Almost never, but not here at "A Modo Mio." There were four of us, and we ordered (on recommendation) three portions of penne alla barca and two of fried squid. Quality assured, the pasta was incredible and the fried squid was incredibly light! The price was more than fair for the amount of fish on the plates. We washed it all down with a glass of prosecco from a local producer. I highly recommend trying it, but remember to book!

03/09/2025: The pizza made with charcoal flour is an experience, one of the best I've ever tasted. The staff is friendly, and the place is beautiful and spotlessly clean.

07/09/2025: Friendly staff, very large and crowded place. I only read the reviews after eating the pizza! If I had, I would have definitely ordered something else. Unfortunately, the pizza was overcooked and thin, so it was dry. The margherita, which is the base of the pizza, had a layer of tomato sauce and mozzarella galore, and olives that aren't part of the recipe. So thin that after two minutes it was a Frisbee! The others at my table, who ordered different pizzas, were "saved" by the toppings. I sincerely hope they can improve because, as of now, I absolutely wouldn't recommend eating the pizza.

06/09/2025: I've been there several times with family and friends, and the food has always been excellent, especially the Fassona steak tartare! Highly recommended!

16/07/2025: A small, family-run restaurant, warm and authentic, very popular with locals. The dishes are generous and tasty, and the menus remain very affordable. My partner and I have been there twice, and we will gladly return!

20/05/2025: Simple and quality home cooking. Very good first courses... My favorite dish: tagliatelle with ragù!!! A must try.

12/07/2025: Just seeing the owner would be enough to understand that this is a place you should never go to... what's more, the food is bad and little, and the prices are disproportionate (the Fork discount is useless since they give you another menu). A place that I hope closes and reopens under different management given the location.

21/11/2024: Magnifique endroit, arrivés à 14h30 (2h30 PM), servis comme des princes, personnel très sympathique, ambiance piémontaise, superbe vue sur les montagnes, nourriture familiale excellente et servie dans la bonne humeur par des personnes très gentilles et à l'écoute. La meilleure adresse du coin. je devrais sûrement la garder pour moi tellement c'était une belle expérience. Tarifs ultra abordables (environ 15€/personne pour les deux plats).
