12/10/2025: The restaurant was a bit uncomfortable. I was sitting at a table where people were always walking behind me, making me uncomfortable. They brought my husband an appetizer after a long time, and there was no reason for that, as it was a simple appetizer and was charged as a first course. I, on the other hand, waited over an hour for my only dish, as his first course had arrived. However, both first courses were very salty, I didn't like practically anything. Furthermore, the pasta was undercooked, I don't think we'll be back easily.

09/09/2025: Unfortunately, one pizza was completely black on the edge and partially on the bottom. My companion's pizza was "only" black on the edge. I mentioned the burnt pizza, but there wasn't much of a reaction. If the pizzas hadn't been burned, we would have gone the next day with our friends. The pizzas are cheap, anyway. We paid the cover charge without receiving bread or breadsticks, so we don't know that in Italy. They did give it to the other guests—perhaps it's a misunderstanding on my part. The knives weren't cutting at all, but at that point we didn't want to say anything.

12/10/2025: A place unlike any other, expertly managed by two pleasant, friendly, and professional people. The food is excellent. Excellent value for money.

10/10/2025: It’s a hidden gem serving authentic Piedmontese cuisine. The owner himself is the chef, which explains why every dish tastes so fresh, refined, and absolutely fantastic. He brings the dishes from the kitchen and serves it with a smile. It’s priced fairly . Hand written bill .Total Italian local style . Go for it

28/08/2025: Very nice stuff, delicious Croissant and amazing coffee taste. I like the high quality of the packaging when you ask for a to go stuff.

04/10/2025: Nice place and good food. I wish it had been a little more seasoned, as salt is practically nonexistent, if not in almost every dish. This was a bit disappointing, as a little salt is needed. However, condiments are provided. The prices are reasonable for the location, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

27/09/2025: I've been to this lovely restaurant several times for work, located in the heart of the multi-ethnic Porta Palazzo - Baloon district. It's a small menu, but perfectly cooked. The cuisine is predominantly Piedmontese, especially the appetizers, but with French and Arabic influences. The agnolotti are excellent. The decor is beautiful, very tastefully done, with a touch of shabby chic. The bathroom is spotless, and the portions and prices are fair. Last but not least, the waitress in charge: excellent, very kind... and beautiful!

30/10/2025: The tea I ordered came in a dirty glass. When I kindly told the lady that the glass was very dirty with lipstick and stains, she did not believe me at first and only told me it was a clean glass. I insisted her to come and change my glass, as it was really dirty. She took it with an attitude, although it should be regular for customers to get a clean glass. When she brang me a new glass, the tea water was cold, and her negative attitude was really disrespecting. I still paid 2.50€ for a cold tea, which I obviously did not drink. It is a shame that customers are treated like that here.

25/10/2025: Apperol for 5 euros and free chips. Good deal!

21/10/2025: Good, traditional cuisine, pleasant service! Unfortunately, the bill didn't match the expected amount (dinner menu). It's a shame to feel like I was charged a strange price for tourists! Without this disappointment, this restaurant would have received 4 stars; it would have been a perfect neighborhood eatery.

05/11/2025: Oh my, I don't understand how it even has 4 and 5-star reviews! I never leave reviews, but this time I have to so others don't end up wasting their evening (and their money). There are so many better places with friendlier staff, more suited to a venue like this.

05/11/2025: Evening where we were about 20 people, we had a pizza round served quite quickly, the pizzas were decent/good and the service was very careful

03/11/2025: A true gourmet spot. The pizzas are excellent, but I was particularly pleased with the pasta dishes, which feature sumptuous fresh pasta. The scialatielli and other dishes seemed to draw the sauce, so with every bite, you could taste the pasta with just the right amount of sauce or fish. I was also impressed by the staff's ability to adapt their approach to each customer's tastes and requests. The service was not only clean, but also attentive.

22/07/2025: Celebrated my birthday. We ate authentic, tasty, and plentiful food. The staff was very friendly. Thank you. We'll be back, in fact, we've already been back 👍

12/07/2025: I've already been to Vecchio Aratro twice, thanks to a neighbor of mine. The cooking is homely. Good selection of appetizers, first courses of decent quality. They don't skimp on second helpings when requested. Desserts and liqueurs galore. The fixed price is 20 euros, even on Fridays for dinner, for a good meal. Kudos to Dino, the long-time owner, and to Marika, the very sweet Moroccan waitress.

01/09/2025: Boii 😁🖐️ ts was so tuff I came with diddy to try 67 pizza 🤤🤤✌️✌️ diddy the gooner enjoyed the waiters they had, very oily 🫩🙌and they had mango mustard with 41 unc singing 🙌 also mustard and mango pizza with was very tuff, sure was worth the 6-7 minutes🌹❤️‍🩹 they also told us that there was a barber shop costs a quarter 😭😭✌️✌️I hope the open more stores in Ohio or Cupertino🖐️✌️ then they told us to explain our group friend and we said no cus we JUST A BABEHHHH❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🌹🌹🌹😭😭😭✌️✌️✌️✌️

28/09/2025: We tried the "Carousel of First Courses" menu and it was very satisfying. Various pasta samples (stuffed and plain) with different sauces were served one after the other, without long waits.

07/09/2025: We did the pasta tour and I must say that the dishes were of quality and the 80s style location was very pleasant, definitely an experience to repeat.

21/10/2025: The place is beautiful, welcoming, rustic, the food is good, but what prices and what a wait guys! The second courses go over 30 euros, and to eat the first courses (good nothing to say) you have to wait an hour!

21/10/2025: Osteria al Tagliere is the quintessential Turin trattoria, a place where you can eat well, drink even better, and soak up the city's history. If you're looking for authentic flavors, generous portions, and an authentic atmosphere in the center of Turin, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
