The staff was super helpful and courteous, apologizing for the slightly slow service during the evening; we really appreciated it. The price was above average, but in line with the location and setting. Recommended.

03/04/2026: It's a shame the restaurant was closed for dinner if we were there during the week. And arriving by taxi, we had to call Speedy Pizza since the Certosa is on the road to the Sacra di San Michele, 5-6 km from the first town. Beautiful, clean rooms, stunning view. Excellent breakfast.

07/04/2026: We never get tired of it! Every time my mother and I pass through Oulx, it's a must-stop. This little pizzeria is a real gem: the service is always top-notch, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and above all, the food is absolutely divine. The pizzas are excellent, made with fresh ingredients, exactly the way we like them in Italy. The biggest plus? The value for money is unbeatable. It's really inexpensive for such quality. If you're looking for an authentic, unpretentious, and generous place, go without hesitation.

04/04/2026: I attended an "intimate" wedding reception...no more than 25 guests. A private room, classically furnished, very bright, and overlooking the spring garden. Impeccable and courteous service. The food was both visually and palatably pleasing. Classic appetizers: veal with tuna sauce and asparagus flan were TOP! Mushroom risotto was particularly popular. This was followed by a series of asparagus-based courses: just as befits the "King" of this beloved vegetable: each more delicious than the last. The classic wedding cake concluded the meal, leaving everyone satisfied, but not weighed down and exhausted :-) I'll be back for a romantic dinner.

07/03/2026: A very unpleasant experience at Il Castello. The food itself wasn't bad, but unfortunately, it was completely ruined by the staff's behavior. During dinner, we decided to share some dishes, which is perfectly normal in any restaurant. It's a shame that the waitress decided to make several sarcastic comments about it. Not just one joke: several repeated comments, even while she was talking to the kitchen staff, who were participating as if it were funny to comment on the customers. At one point, she came to the table and said in an ironic tone, "You really cleaned the plates!", as if it were appropriate to comment on how the customers eat. The most absurd moment came at the end: when we asked for desserts, the waitress made a big scene, saying that the kitchen was closed but that she would make an "exception" to get them to us, almost as if she had to make them herself in the pastry shop. It's a shame that they were clearly pre-made desserts, and they were served to the next table without all this fuss. To complete the picture, the decor seems stuck in another era, with an atmosphere more reminiscent of the 19th century than a welcoming restaurant. In a restaurant, one expects politeness and professionalism, not sarcastic comments from the staff and kitchen about how customers choose to eat. It's a shame, because food alone isn't enough when the service can make the experience so unpleasant. I won't be returning.
