05/04/2025: Another service station to be redone from scratch. Very small and with only one bathroom, a disaster for coaches. I went to the bathroom of the nearby petrol station to avoid a queue that reached the front door.

03/03/2025: It's not a tasting. It's a culinary experience. Filippo is able to give you emotions in every description. The quality of the food is shocking, flavors that can hardly be found "around the corner". The wine is extraordinary and offers the customer the opportunity to choose the best products from the best labels. Of course it's not a place for everyone, but then everything of value has its fair price. Fantastic.

19/03/2025: Abbiamo cenato in coppia in questo locale con un atmosfera familiare. Prodotti tipici piemontesi di ottima qualità ( i salumi ed i formaggi sono di prima scelta e freschissimi ). Ma il pezzo forte della serata è stata la costata di fassona, difficile da dimenticare. Il proprietario ed il cameriere ci hanno fatto sentire a casa con un servizio impeccabile. Credo il migliore ristorante a Sestriere.

29/03/2025: Bad experience perhaps because they will be going on holiday in 2 days but...the agnolotti with sauce and the roast needed a spoonful as they were so brothy and with a lot of pasta and not much filling let's not talk about the polenta with vegetables the polenta looked like the kind from the supermarket that you buy in slices and cut and the stewed vegetables were acidic. I hope that when they reopen in June we will be able to eat better

24/04/2025: Da anni frequento il bar regina x cui ho provato colazioni pranzi e aperitivi. La qualità e l’impegno offerti sono eccezionali. Marco complimenti! Toast e croissant da provare assolutamente. I piatti preparati per il pranzo sono sempre molto buoni così come alcune torte fatte “in casa”.

02/04/2025: It's a bowls club and as such you can't expect 3 Michelin star food but still not bad. Having arrived on an evening when the place was packed (there must have been 100/120 people) the food was baked all together, with the same times for all the tables, with pre-established courses (fixed menu and not à la carte). This helped, and not a little, the speed of the service: within a couple of hours everyone had already finished or was doing an encore. Excellent thing to optimize times. Let's say that with the place so full the space to move was minimal, if not non-existent (tables nested together like Tetris). Maybe in spring/summer, with the tables outside, the outdoor area, the bowling alley and the billiards it's a completely different thing. Several appetizers, a single first course, a second course and a side dish. Decent, right quality/price. The house wine (both white and red) was so-so. The beers were better but they ran out halfway through the evening for everyone: perhaps it was better to stock up given the amount of guests. The dishes are almost all good. Some are overcooked, others are raw, but in 90% of cases they are cooked correctly. On the other hand, when you cook in a "batch" for an army of people, something can happen to go wrong. Perhaps better organization, especially regarding drinking supplies, would help. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening. The staff is friendly, kind and punctual in all your requests. 25 euro fixed menu for adults, 15 euro fixed menu for children. Fair, honest price for what is offered to you during the evening.

07/02/2025: Rifugio in quota a circa 1.200 mt di altitudine raggiungibile facilmente con la seggiovia di Campo Smith di Bardonecchia (circa 10 minuti). Abbiamo prenotato la cena di sabato sera con amici, con scelta tra 3 diversi menù (ognuno comprendente antipasto, primo, secondo e dolce) oltre il “benvenuto della casa”. Personale gentile, servizio forse un po' lento...... Ottima la qualità dei cibi nella piena tradizione piemontese. Ambienti rustici in legno, in tipico stile da “montagna” molto belli. Location spettacolare con un panorama mozzafiato sui monti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo; il menù costa 50 euro a persona comprensivo del costo della seggiovia (bevande escluse)……..prezzi onestissimi. Da provare assolutamente. Compimenti a tutto lo staff.

19/01/2025: Grande esperienza ad alta quota. Un pranzo all’insegna del buon cibo tradizionale .. tagliere polenta Una vera bontà accompagnata da u. Buon vino. L’arrivo in seggiovia ti porta in quota dove puoi ammirare dalla terrazza esterna un panorama davvero favoloso. Il rifugio è caratteristico, tradizionale e accogliente. Con le belle giornate, mangiare fuori è un vero tocca sana. Il menù è ampio con le giuste proposte. Servizio (se non c’è grande flusso) molto veloce e sempre presente. Qualità prezzo nella media .. Un sicuro punto di riferimento per le prossime gite. Grazie At

01/05/2025: A truly welcoming and well-kept structure, with tastefully furnished outdoor spaces: wooden tables and benches, some deckchairs arranged on the lawn, ideal for relaxing surrounded by nature. On the occasion of May 1st, as indicated at the time of booking, only a fixed menu was offered, without the possibility of ordering à la carte. The meal opened with a rich appetizer: chestnuts with honey and butter, lard, salami, peppers and fennel with bagna cauda, ​​and an excellent veal with tuna sauce. To follow, a first course of your choice between asparagus agnolotti with butter and sage or a tasty soup prepared with seasonal herbs typical of the area – truly surprising. As second courses, a tasty braised meat and a stew served with polenta concia, and then concluded with a selection of homemade desserts. Water, wine and coffee included in the price of the menu, which I found more than honest, considering the quality and abundance of the dishes. In summary: enchanting location, genuine cuisine and more than reasonable prices. An experience to repeat.

22/04/2025: Ho girato varie trattorie e non solo ma questo le batte tutte vitello tonnato assolutamente orribile sfoglia immangiabile primi crudi e senza sapore brasato secco asciutto davvero orrendo patate al forno bianco pallido bollite state lontani da questa trattoria si mangia veramente male io personalmente non ho mangiato nulla

12/04/2025: Locale caratteristico, nel centro di Cesana con arredamento curato nei particolari e atmosfera molto accogliente. Proprietario e personale professionale e cortese. Servizio impeccabile e portate abbondanti. Ottima la pasta ripiena di produzione propria, l'antipasto misto è eccezionale così come la grigliata mista e le verdure grigliate. Nota particolare ai dolci di loro produzione. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo!!

08/03/2025: Il ristorante Pig si trova nella via principale di Cesana. Ambiente molto gradevole e caratteristico composto da tre sale piuttosto raccolte ed abbastanza intime posizionate su tre livelli dell'edificio. La brigata che lo getisce è composta per lo più da ragazzi giovani, tutti super gentili ed estremamente efficienti e sul pezzo. Il menù offre piatti per tutti i palati, da quelli della tradizione a quelli più sfiziosi, tutti accomunati dall'essere decisamente buoni. Noi ci siamo andati due sere consecutive ed il risultato è sempre stato soddisfacente: dagli antipasti, ai ravioli con ripieno agli arrosti (come da miglior tradizione piemontese), fino al favoloso stinco, che viste le dimensioni non credo fosse di maiale ma di velociraptor, tutto ciò che è arrivato è sempre stato più che soddisfacente, facendoci andare via ogni volta con un buonissimo ricordo. Il conto? Assolutamente onesto, a dimostrazione che si può avere ottima ristorazione spendendo il giusto. Un plauso di cuore a questi ragazzi che ci hanno offerto buon cibo, simpatia e calore e ci hanno fatto passare due belle serate. Sceglietelo e non ne sarete per nulla delusi. Grazie ancora.
