When I go to Gialdo, I often stop by for a piadina alla caveja. The piadinas are really good, made with fresh dough and ingredients. 🥙

I often go for a piadina at Caveja in Chieri, in the Il Gialdo shopping center. Their piadinas are truly delicious, made with fresh dough and ingredients every day! Giulia and her entire staff are knowledgeable, polite, and always know how and what to recommend. Highly recommended!

06/06/2026: If you're looking for a genuine trattoria with well-executed traditional dishes and a decidedly light bill, Trattoria dell'Isola is an excellent choice. Overall, the experience was very good. Here's what we tried: Venison with polenta: A truly exquisite main course. The meat was tender and flavorful, accompanied by an excellent sauce that paired perfectly with the polenta, which was warm and just the right consistency. A rustic and satisfying dish. Tiramisu: Good flavor and a positive taste, although I found it a bit too dry. Personally, I would have preferred it with ladyfingers (or sponge cake) soaked in coffee to give the dessert a creamier texture. The atmosphere is typical and welcoming, typical of good trattorias of the past, where substance and tradition matter more than frills.

02/05/2026: I stopped for lunch, nothing to complain about, just a 40-minute wait for a good pizza. Maybe a bit too long.
02/12/2025: Pizzeria restaurant. Nothing special, I tried a pizza with gorgonzola and onions. The gorgonzola flavor, usually very strong, was barely noticeable. The draft beer was tasteless. Tempted by the dessert display, I chose a Sicilian cannoli, but it was slightly stale, the crust had lost its crispiness. I probably chose the wrong night.
