09/03/2026: Fregola and mussels, out of this world. The idea of adding a club sandwich to the menu is unusual, perfect for lunch. The accompanying loaf is warm and crispy straight from the oven.
The level of detail is unexpectedly high, both on the plate and at the table. The head waiter manages everything herself, meticulously.

04/01/2026: Menu: Very well cooked and varied. The four-course tasting menu with dishes chosen by the chef (surprise) for €45 is interesting.
Service: Slow, especially at the beginning. We waited quite a while, even just for water 😅
Location very close to the square, welcoming.
Adequate prices.
I recommend it.

31/12/2025: We had an aperitivo at this really cute place, with excellent service and plentiful food. We expected the usual chips and peanuts served with appetizers, but instead we were treated to a truly generous platter, with cheeses, pickles, breadsticks, and some lovely slices of Bologna. In short, by the end, we were full and satisfied.
19/12/2025: Pan & Vino is a regular stop when I pass through Orta, where there's certainly no shortage of options, but they're often "touristy" or traditional.
I've always enjoyed eating and drinking here; the quality is evident.
Today's panzanella, in particular, was truly superb.
Filippo, the dachshund, also thanks me for the breadsticks...

06/03/2026: Bar and restaurant located in the small square facing San Giulio Island. Beautiful view. Good coffee, cappuccino, and pastries.
14/01/2026: We arrived at 3 pm, the restaurant was quiet. The woman inside told us she could only serve us pizzas. We accepted. They served us kindly, even though it was late. And with a smile. Thank you to the team for accommodating us late; the pizzas were delicious!

07/02/2026: HORRIBLE! Rude staff. We say hello (obviously without a response) and ask the waitress if we can sit at a table, but she responds with a huff and a huff in an annoyed and rude manner. So we move to the bar next door (where they were nice), and as we walk away, we hear the waitress loudly commenting on what happened with her colleague, using discriminatory and offensive terms.

30/12/2025: A small restaurant in the center of Orta, with a wide selection on the menu and excellent food at a reasonable price. The only downside is that the dining room is a bit small, so reservations are recommended. Otherwise, everything is excellent.
27/12/2025: Polite and friendly staff, nice location, the only flaw is the quality of the food (often frozen), which isn't excellent. I also didn't notice any politely indicated allergens, nor any dishes without frozen ingredients.
Recommended only if you're on a budget, as the portions aren't particularly high.

09/09/2025: Very low quality of food, tartar tasteless and rubbery, we returned it, no one asked why. Cesar salad has nothing to do with real Cesar salad, cheap ingredients with low quality. It lacks the real Italian atmosphere. The price does not match the taste experience that is delivered. Big disappointment.
07/09/2025: Very friendly and non english speaking staff.
Cosy inventory and fair prices.
As for the food, the pizza was a real let down. Prefabricated dough and blend taste.
Didn't try other dishes, but if the pizza set the bar for the kitchen, this is a no-go!

13/07/2025: Dopo aver fatto il giro all'isola di S.Giulio ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante che avevamo gia prenotato e si trova proprio sulla piazza di Orta; eravamo insieme ai nostri parenti venuti dall'Ecuador e abbiamo pranzato con bombom croccante, spaghetto Giacomo, tagliata di carne, insalata di polpo, spongecake ai lamponi, acqua e vino rosato; tutto ottimo e abbondante; la cameriera Federica è stata gentilissima anche nella spiegazione dei piatti; servizio rapido; buon rapporto qualità/prezzo; consigliatissimo !!!
30/06/2025: Posto unico, di grandi sapori e alta qualità.
Consigliatissimo il vitello tonnato, lo spaghetto con datterino e stracciatella, da provare i numerosi antipasti e taglieri squisiti.

10/06/2025: Fuimos y nos fuimos por lo grosero que era el camarero, que resultó ser el dueño. Nunca volveremos a este lugar aunque fuera el único abierto.
26/04/2025: Posizione stupenda in riva al lago, specie il dehors. Cibo ottimo e buon vino. Ci ritornerò sicuramente anche in altre stagioni.

29/04/2025: Siamo entrati in questo locale attratti dalla location, effettivamente molto carina, per il resto diciamo che avremmo potuto tranquillamente chiamare i nas, ho ordinato tagliata di pollo con patatine arrivato pollo bollito (tipo ospedale) con patatine bagnate dal suddetto pollo bollito, ho chiamato la cameriera e le ho ridato indietro il piatto, ho chiesto in cambio bresaola con grana senza rucola arrivato piatto pieno di rucola e bresaola immangiabile, a mio marito un tomino alla piastra che neanche al discount riesci a trovare........pessimo ,pessimo , pessimo! ho dato 1 alla recensione perchè meno non si può. Da EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE! p.s. tutte le paste sono surgelate come dichiarato in menù , per questo pensavamo di salvarci con un secondo piatto..............
08/12/2024: Cercavamo un posto alla buona dove mangiare e il cibo e i prezzi indicati sulla lavagna esterna ci hanno convinti. Entrando l'accoglienza è stata un po' strana, la proprietaria ci ha "sgridato" perché non avendola vista subito ci siamo avviati verso una saletta laterale in cerca di personale...ma poi le cameriere sono state simpatiche e disponibili. Attendendo il cibo, cominciamo a sentire abbastanza freddo... chiediamo di accendere e ci rispondono che quando raggiunge la temperatura (ca 15° sul termostato...) si spegne. Accendono alzando...di 1 grado. Neanche a dire che non è cambiato nulla. Però in confronto al bagno ghiacciato faceva quasi caldo 😅
Comunque cibo buono, terminiamo col caffè...2,20€ a tazzina...mi sembra davvero esagerato per il posto...e soprattutto per risparmio sul riscaldamento...

05/06/2025: Perfekt für den Apero oder einen Snack. Netter Service, guter Schaumwein aus der Langhe und weitere schöne lokale Weine, draußen sitzt man gemütlich und kann dem Treiben auf der Piazza zuschauen.
09/05/2025: Déjeuner en famille ! De la cuisine régionale, une carte des vins diversifiée, le patron qui fait l'effort de parler français tout en simplicité.
Un moment convivial en famille.

16/10/2023: Abbiamo pernottato 2 giorni in questo agriturismo e ci siamo trovati benissimo.
Ambiente curato e pulito, colazione abbondante con dolce e salato.
È presente anche una zona relax.
Personale gentile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti.
Dotato di parcheggio interno e con una bella passeggiata si può raggiungere a piedi anche il centro del paese di Orta S. Giulio.

01/05/2025: Siamo stati oggi all'ora di pranzo, ci hanno fatto accomodare è siamo stati fortunati perché alle 12.30 il ristorante era pieno.il personale gentilissimo ci ha portato subito le bevande richieste con il pane e grissini.
Ci hanno avvisato cortesemente che ci sarebbe voluto una ventina di minuti, d'altronde oggi 1° maggio c'era il pieno dappertutto ..il cibo molto buono, spaghetti allo scoglio ,un risotto ,più un orata squisita è una scaloppina con funghi e patate 2 gelati bevande e coperto 60 euro..che dire ci siamo trovati benissimo e ritorneremo alla prima occasione. Ovviamente non siamo a villa crespi ma è cucinato al momento quindi l'attesa ci sta.

26/04/2025: Questo posto deve essere completamente evitato, il cibo è mal cotto...NON ANDATECI!!!poi ti fanno aspettare mezz'ora per poi farti mangiare del cibo schifoso
