It's truly a gem. An enviable location, just before the entrance to Orta, on the hill overlooking the lake, with a wonderful view! Excellent breakfast, on the veranda overlooking the lake or, if desired, on the terrace. Guaranteed parking for guests, which in Orta is a big plus. Exceptional cleanliness and hospitality.

The room was a bit dated, and the bedding needs replacing. The terrace had a lovely mountain view and also a lake view. However, it's right in the center with parking and a nice breakfast.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hotel La Bussola. We would especially like to commend the extremely friendly and attentive staff, who gave us a warm welcome and looked after us at all times. You truly feel welcome here. A big plus for us as motorcyclists: We were allowed to park our motorcycles safely indoors – a huge thank you for that, it's definitely not something you can take for granted! The hotel impresses with its pleasant atmosphere, beautiful location, and excellent service. We would love to come back and can absolutely recommend the hotel. Many thanks to the whole team!

The hotel is in a quiet but truly beautiful location. Our room was spacious and welcoming, with a very comfortable bed and a view of the lake. Convenient for visiting the center or as a starting point for pleasant walks. The staff were very friendly. It will definitely be even more beautiful in the summer, thanks to the outdoor pool. I highly recommend it.

Enviable panoramic location, very convenient parking, very close to the center and the pier, very kind and welcoming staff, beautiful room, I ate very well, what can I say! A total of 10 out of 10.

Even though it was low season (we were almost alone), we appreciated the room, the staff, and the breakfast. Also noteworthy is the very useful parking included in the price... Ask for a room with a lake view (even a partial one), it's a plus that's worth the trip!

04/05/2026: We stopped in during the agricultural fair, accompanied by a friend who frequents the place often. He'd already warned us: "Don't overdo it with the orders"... and he was absolutely right! The portions are generous, always accompanied by fries and vegetables. The dishes are tasty and well-prepared, from the burgers to the cutlet: everything is very satisfying. The photos speak for themselves. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere, with excellent value. One piece of advice: always check your receipt when paying. In our case, there was a major mistake (we were about to pay for other tables as well), which was resolved immediately after reporting it. Overall, a positive experience, but it's worth paying attention to this aspect.
25/04/2026: We had a great experience at the restaurant. The lasagna was excellent, the steak was very good, and the atmosphere was lovely. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very professional. Highly recommended.
