03/03/2025: Very nice and welcoming place. We ate fish, of excellent quality, but we also saw the pizzas being baked and they were very inviting. There are also off-menu items that caught our attention. The wine selection is also very varied and the staff is attentive, kind and professional. Truly a beautiful discovery. 23/05/2025: It's a very simple restaurant, but when people say Wal Meira doesn't welcome visitors, they've probably done something wrong themselves. The owners are gone, getting on in years, and I've rarely seen someone so attentive to their guests, especially the children who were there. A restaurant that, in my opinion, is almost exclusively frequented by locals. The pizzas are fantastic. The two elderly people can't conjure up anything more, but what they do there is very, very good.

04/06/2025: Unfortunately I have to leave an extremely negative review. During dinner I found a long black hair on the bottom of the plate. I noticed it almost at the end, so you can imagine the disgust. I reported the incident politely, but I was dismissed with a simple "I'm sorry" and nothing else. No gesture of courtesy, not even a coffee offered to try to make up for it. To make the situation even worse, I noticed that the leftover bread from the tables is put back in the bins: an absolutely unacceptable practice both for hygiene and out of respect for the customer. Disappointing experience from every point of view: empathy, courtesy and attention to the customer equal to zero. Never again.

29/05/2025: Reading the menu, you feel at home. Simple but excellent food that stimulates the desire to taste them all. It was, perhaps, a special day, due to the large amount of customers. The two areas that characterize the location were constantly and repeatedly full. This situation caused a delay in the service of the second course, for which we waited 52 minutes. But despite the long wait, the quality of the dishes exceeded expectations. Not to mention the quality/price ratio. An experience to repeat.

09/03/2025: A blast from the past. The venue is splendid and the food and service are also of a good standard. If you pass through Bra it is definitely worth a visit!

26/02/2025: Ancient local restaurant, from the mid-19th century, very characteristic.. friendly staff ready to advise you on the choice of dishes on the menu which recall the typical local cuisine.. wide choice and normal prices.. in fact you eat well and don't pay a lot.. I advise anyone who happens to be in the area [as happened to me] to try the cuisine and admire this nineteenth-century restaurant.

05/01/2025: La location del San Quintino è sempre molto piacevole. Ben decorato in occasione del Natale. Servizio sempre puntuale e premuroso. Carta dei vini degna di nota. I piatti della cucina sono ben fatti. Qualche sbavatura per il risotto servito a temperatura non adeguata: freddino. Atmosfera che ti avvolge.

02/06/2025: Abbiamo pranzato di domenica al Bistrot. Avevamo prenotato per 9 persone e ci hanno riservato la veranda, all’aperto ma coperto, con una vista stupenda. Abbiamo potuto portare anche il cane. Il cibo è buono e il personale, giovane, molto gentile e professionale. Per me una bella esperienza.

01/06/2025: We stopped after a hike in the mountains to drink a small beer and a medium one. We paid 12 euros! It seemed a bit excessive!! Since we didn't have the menu at the table we didn't understand how the cost was divided! Medium 7 small 5 ... medium 8 small 4 ... anyway in my opinion excessive! A piece of advice.... Put the menus on the tables....

02/06/2025: Osteria a mio parere molta carina e ben tenuta.. abbiamo mangiato molto bene, piatti ottimi nulla da ridire . Ci siamo sentiti molto a disagio per come siamo stati "trattati" dal cameriere, molto burbero e poco socievole. Premetto che non abbiamo ordinato una bottiglia ( prezzi superiori a 40€) per poterne degustare vari tipi.. già li l'abbiamo perso . Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere in 2 per poter poi scegliere con calma le altre portate, ci é stato imposto di scegliere almeno una portata a testa. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere ed un brasato di vitello su fondo di asparagi, tutto ottimo se non che il cameriere più che appoggiare il tagliere non ha fatto altro... non sapevamo ne che salumi fossero,né che confetture né che formaggi... ! Poi abbiamo ordinato sempre dividendo le portate un maialino anche quello ottimo . Sulla cucina ed il buon cibo nulla da ridire. .. sulla gestione dei clienti e su come trattasse la sua giovane collega il cameriere di sala avrei molto da ridire! Prezzi comunque nella norma!

11/05/2025: Something really unpleasant happened to me today. A person I don't know refused me table service, causing me to lose customers and embarrassing me in front of them. He said that "we're all the same" and that I would "salute" him, but then again, I don't even know who he is! It is unacceptable to be treated like this for no reason. I hope situations like this don't happen again. #respect #professionalism

12/05/2025: The service is exceptional, nothing to say. The problem looms when food arrives at the table... Pizza for example is very thin, such that it remains raw but at the same time chars on the outside, giving a burnt taste. The starters are made from non-top quality ingredients. In fact, from the open kitchen you can see a vast variety of frozen foods (not indicated on the menu). The prices, taking into account the quality and quantity, are excessive. Usually the place is not very crowded, but the waiting times are still high.

03/04/2025: Wer in Alba ist muss unbedingt in dieses Restaurant! Ich habe selten solch ein kulinarisches Highlight erlebt wie hier. Das Essen ist vorzüglich, der Service top und auch die Herzlichkeit der Angestellten findet sich selten wie hier. Neben hervorragenden Essen findet sich auch eine top Weinauswahl bei der für absolut jeden etwas dabei ist. Für mich ist ein Besuch dieses Restaurants jedes Mal wenn ich in Alba bin ein absolutes Highligt!
