The restaurant is extremely well-maintained and tastefully decorated, with a wonderful view of the square and the opportunity to eat under the porticoes. Even inside, there's a homey feel. The service was truly attentive and courteous; I felt extremely pampered without being intrusive. Always smiling. Extremely successful dishes: exquisite veal with tuna sauce: the meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was perfect; the agnolotti del plin were truly tasty: the pasta was fresh and excellent, the filling very good. I will definitely be back.

20/07/2026: Lunch on a gloomy day in Biella, at La Civetta. Since it was already such a humid day, the food was good, polenta was a must, given the slightly cloudy weather. Added on July 18, 2026 Lunch as usual, with fresh, good food. We ate well and drank a little...dessert was always superb!

05/07/2026: Historic venue, very friendly staff, good service, excellent marinated zucchini, less tasty giardiniera, generous portion of eggplant parmigiana, but it was cold and tasteless. The restaurant's strong point is its location in the historic center, with tables (a bit cramped!) outside under the porticoes, perfect in summer.

We only paid €32 for two, and they brought us so much food that we were completely stuffed! 😂 We only had two rounds and had to turn down the third because we couldn't eat anymore. The fish was incredibly fresh, you could smell it right away. The sushi was freshly prepared, and everything seemed meticulously prepared. We even got to see the preparation: the sushi chef worked in front of the customers, wearing a hat and uniform, and everything was prepared with great care and attention to detail. The service was very fast and precise, and above all, the staff was extremely kind and always available. We didn't have to wait long, and they kept bringing our dishes without leaving us wanting for anything. For only €32 for two, considering the quantity and quality of the food, it's truly excellent value. We left the restaurant completely full and very satisfied. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

07/08/2026: A pleasant experience. Typical Biella atmosphere, warm, rustic. Friendly yet professional. The cuisine is easy to understand and full of intense flavors. Highly recommended. Oh, I forgot: prices from days gone by. Not surprisingly. Always packed.

28/07/2026: Dinner at the recommendation of some colleagues. A warm and welcoming restaurant with brick vaults and rustic, homey furnishings. Attentive but frenetic service. The menu was short but extensive, but I didn't particularly enjoy the dishes I chose. For starters, a trio of veal with tuna sauce, Russian salad, and tomino cheese. The tuna sauce was well-cooked and tender, but the sauce was a bit too runny and a touch acidic on the palate. The Russian salad had a mayonnaise that wasn't particularly to my taste; the tomino cheese was garnished with giardiniera, which wasn't exactly suitable for my taste given its acidity. For the first course, the plin (a type of pasta), which I must say was delicious in flavor and cooking. The maccagno cheese fondue was a bit too slow. For dessert, a fig tart... served in very small squares, and instead of figs, a compote... I would have preferred to know what the dessert was in advance so I could have chosen another.

30/06/2026: The historic meeting place for returning from Saturday night 😁 for years and years you'd find the whole Biella area dancing here, eating everything 😅 until dawn on Sunday. A truly LEGENDARY place!!

23/06/2026: Fantastic pastry shop! The desserts and hot food are always excellent and prepared with great care. Sara's cakes are not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious. Gino manages everything with passion and professionalism, while Rachida is always kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable. A special place we always want to return to!
