04/03/2025: Coming from Milan to Biella practically to dine here at Matteo's should already be a way of saying that it is worth it, now every time we are in the area, it is an obligatory stop, a well-kept place and dishes that are worth a mention in the Michelin guide, well done!

14/01/2025: Dinner given as a gift to celebrate a special occasion. All in all, an ordinary, elegant but classic place. We took the 6-course tasting menu and a glass of wine each. Very scenic courses, however some were not very tasty. Special praise should be given to the fried egg, it was really good. The start of dinner was slightly embarrassing, because in the restaurant there were only us and another gentleman and we were placed at tables side by side, despite the remaining empty room, so he could hear everything we were saying (there wasn't even music) . In the end we paid 190 euros for two and left full

23/03/2025: The place is nice, rustic and inside the brewery of the same name! Good and quality food, well grilled meats and tasty hamburgers. Criticism for the service...not so much for the waiter himself but for the lack of staff compared to the many people present. Our waiter had about 25/30 people under him to follow alone, from taking the order to serving food and drinks... too many in my opinion. This meant that the service was lacking, with responses that were a bit "direct and annoyed" and little information on what was being served; for example, in my case, I took a Menabrea Tris with 3 different meats (Argentine Angus, Fassone and Black Angus) but when the plate was brought to me there was no explanation as to what the individual cuts of meat were, as well as for the Menabrea cutting board, here too there was no indication of the various cured meats that were on the plate (here too we went by intuition). The quality, as mentioned, is there...and the price reflects it...but for this very reason, I believe it is right that the products are valued with appropriate explanations and that there is attention to the customer...we are not in a fast food!!!

25/03/2025: Congratulations to the restaurateurs for the goodness of the food with super honest prices, to the waiter for his kindness and professionalism and in general for being available to welcome my parents who joined us at the table at 2:10 pm, I would say well after the closing time for lunch, and we stayed pleasantly until 3:00 pm. We are not from the area, but if we happen to come back we will definitely go back. Very good Piedmontese dishes!!

20/03/2025: Restaurant with typical local dishes. The food and quality are excellent, the portions are generous. It is very nice that the risottos are plated at the table. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The prices are excellent I absolutely recommend it

The service was quick in bringing the drinks, which arrived just four minutes after ordering. However, my dish was served with a considerable delay compared to the others: 25 minutes instead of the expected 10. As for the food, the Milanese was really very good and well prepared, but unfortunately the pizza did not meet expectations. Overall, there are positive aspects and room for improvement, but it is a place that definitely has potential.

Il menu prevede antipasti misti della tradizione piemontese e un primo ed un secondo a scelta. Gli antipasti piemontesi sono buoni ed anche la panissa ed il brasato. Vino sfuso, come nelle trattorie tradizionali ed un conto molto basso rispetto a quanto mangiato

01/03/2025: We could define it as "THE HEAVENLY CORNER OF SINS OF GORGEOUS". All the street food specialties from southern Italy and beyond. The preparations are made in an artisanal and homemade way, each product is made with love and can be felt. The owners are wonderful, very kind and warm-hearted people. Honorable mention for the CINNAMON ROLLS undoubtedly the best in the whole city. And (today's discovery) the fried "bigne" with ricotta and candied orange peel.......a delight!
