Small artisanal ice cream shop near the library and the funicular, excellent, with often local or regional ingredients. I now have residence there 😄

I discovered this artisanal ice cream shop in Biella by chance. And here I tasted an amazing ice cream, at the level of the best Venetian ice cream masters, the ones who invented ice cream and brought it to the world.

Capitato per puro caso in questa gelateria, dopo aver visitato la bella mostra di Banksy, TVBoy e Jago, ho scoperto un gelato superbo che, da solo , meriterebbe un passaggio a Biella, anche se la città offre anche d'altro. Ho assaggiato crema e pistacchio, che sono il "test" per qualsiasi gelateria, e si mostra a livello dei migliori gelatai artigianali veneti; quelli che il gelato . . .lo hanno inventato.

A delicious experience thanks to Gelateria Biondi de Candelo! Five stars without hesitation for the kindness of the owner, the frozen delicacies, and the obvious love towards the animals. An experience to repeat on our return to this magnificent city. Well done and congratulations!!!

Gelati naturali buonissimi. Le granite sono spettacolari, hanno una granita alla mandorla pazzesca che nemmeno in Sicilia è facile trovare così buona. Prezzo in linea con tute le altre gelaterie. Le uniche due pecche sono: le brioche siciliane che non sono molto buone perché sono quelle comprate di grande distribuzione e il fatto che manchino gusti un po' più fantasiosi ma che ci siano un po' sempre i soliti tipici

25/02/2024: Gita di sabato a Biella e per pranzo abbiamo scelto questa trattoria prenotando in settimana, siamo saliti al Piazzo con la funicolare e dopo pochi passi arriviamo in piazza cisterna. L'ambiente è raccolto e molto famigliare, nella bella stagione si può mangiare anche all'esterno sotto il portico nella bella piazza. Menù contenuto ma comprensivo di tutto, buona scelta di antipasti, primi e secondi per tutti i gusti. Ho optato per un vitello in salsa tonnata e la Panissa Vercellese, entrambi ottimi!! Mi è molto piaciuto anche l'amaro di Oropa che mi è stato consigliato. Proprietari molto cordiali e alla mano e conto ottimo, molto economico.

Trattoria Grandinetti

04/04/2024: We found the little place by chance. Typical food from Piemonte. At first it seemed like they didn't want to serve us but then they relaxed and we realized that we arrived at 2 pm and they close at 3 pm for lunch. However, everything we ate was delicious and homely. The price was also great for the quality. I will return another time to try other dishes!
25/03/2024: Ate very well with simple and well cooked products A little spartan place but ok service Very honest price with complete menu for two paid €45 2 very generous starters 2 first courses 1 second course 2 coffees and amaro All in all a good experience to recommend
