There's only paid parking nearby, and access to the restaurant is via two steps leading to the main floor. I usually order soy milk and vegan brioche (unfortunately frozen at source) to fill as desired. Both items are good quality.

28/10/2025: The restaurant is nestled within the Porta Pretoria, making it quite evocative in itself. Its walls date back to the 25th century BC.
Excellent local food, elegantly presented.
The waiter was young but well-trained, helpful but not intrusive.
The owners were friendly.
Given our gastronomical acumen, the owner even offered us a digestif. Excellent ginepy.
Highly recommended.
12/10/2025: We had dinner one evening at this beautiful location in the historic center of Aosta. Upon entering, you might think you're walking into a "stinky" restaurant, but you find yourself in a beautiful setting, certainly stylish but affordable for all budgets. Upon entering, a young man named Emanuele is ready to welcome you, very friendly and witty. The dining rooms are very beautiful and spacious. The service is attentive, courtesy of Emanuele's partner, Anais.
The quality of the food offered is very pleasing, and so is the final product.

28/10/2025: A typical, sincere trattoria! The owners are welcoming, down-to-earth, and happy with their work. Lots of loyal customers. I found a wonderful place in the small town of Miagliano, in a charming little square. Only three choices on the daily menu. Good food. Nice house wine. Family atmosphere. Very fair prices! For €10 per person, we even had dessert! I'll be back a hundred times! It has a large indoor dining room and a garden in the summer.
14/10/2025: I'm only giving it 4 stars because I only had a coffee there, but those who know it speak highly of it. It's definitely an old-fashioned trattoria.

Excellent food, generous portions, and top-quality ingredients—you can really taste the care they put into selecting the ingredients.
The owners are welcoming, friendly, and make you feel right at home.
A place where you eat well and feel even better. We'll definitely be back!!

21/11/2025: I always enjoy stopping at this osteria. You can breathe in the mountain air, with the tranquility of these areas. The food is always excellent.
17/11/2025: I was greeted with great affection by the owner and his daughter, or niece, I believe. I was greeted even more warmly after mentioning that my family had lived in the area many years ago. We chatted extensively, and they offered me several glasses of limoncello, filled with love and affection. This was one of the restaurants that most changed my life, and for the best spaghetti all'aglio e olio I've ever eaten in all of Italy. It's a place for those with families who have the patience to talk and enjoy the hosts' good conversation. Even though I arrived at 2 PM, they welcomed me as if I were at home. Thank you so much, and I'll be back soon to repay your kindness. See you soon!

15/06/2025: A pranzo in questo ristorante nella parte alta del complesso di Oropa, con brutto tempo incombente (come pare capiti spesso da queste parti): per fortuna ci hanno trovato posto nella saletta superiore, all'interno del locale.
Iniziamo con degli antipasti misti piuttosto ricchi ed anche abbondanti, per passare poi alla specialità del luogo: la polenta concia, piatto che non conoscevo davvero ricco di formaggio, burro e... colesterolo. Tutto buono, servizio ottimo e prezzi nella media. Decisamente promosso!
08/06/2025: Perché..... un OTTIMO servizio e un OTTIMO menu con piatti decisamente buoni deve essere rovinato dalla MALEDUCAZIONE della (penso la proprietaria) signora alla cassa ?????

01/03/2026: I was passing through Cossato, I had a quick coffee because there were no croissants, on a Sunday morning and with the place full! What a shame!
20/01/2026: I went with a friend for a hot chocolate.
We didn't like the way the man told us he was closing and we had to leave. The hot chocolate wasn't the best. There are different ways to treat customers.
