15/03/2026: I stayed here while walking the Camino d'Oropa. The bar is very nice and welcoming, the rooms are clean, and the very kind staff went out of their way to prepare me a delicious vegan dinner.
Highly recommended.
04/01/2026: We stayed for one night en route to Oropa. The staff were helpful and the value for money was better than at other places along the Camino. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the pilgrim's dinner was decent. The rooms were spacious, but a bit dark (dark furnishings, dim artificial lighting). Recommended for those who are completing a leg of the Camino here!

14/09/2025: Excellent white calamari, homemade pesto, and excellent prawns. The tiramisu was good. The only flaw was the very noisy dining room, due to the children making a lot of noise.
10/09/2025: We celebrated the start of school with lunch with some classmates.
I tried the pinsa, which was absolutely excellent, and the pizzas looked delicious too.
The place is perfect for those with children, because while they wait to eat, they can run around outside, where there's a large garden and playground.

10/07/2025: In una Via centrale di Novara, abbiamo provato la Pizzeria Pizzium, che si rifà alla classica tradizione napoletana.
Simpatico il cosiddetto Menù Regionale che, per ogni Regione propone quelle che sono le specialità tipiche.
Abbiamo scelto la Liguria (Fior di latte dei Monti Lattari, datterini freschi rossi e gialli e pesto di basilico) e la Campania (Fior di latte dei Monti Lattari, crena di zucchine, zucchini fritte, fiori di zucca e scaglie di Grana Padano).
Giudizio buono in entrambi i casi.
Abbiamo apprezzato anche la professionalità dei camerieri e la velocità del sevizio.

29/06/2025: Pizza di qualità con prodotti locali, locale pulito, personale disponibile e professionale, posizione ideale in centro a Novara. Durante il soggiorno la città era attiva con gli street games.

16/03/2026: Reasonable prices, good pizza, served fairly quickly. Good wine by the glass. Clean bathroom. Friendly staff. Salad could be improved in terms of variety. Decent coffee. I would definitely return. Lovely outdoor setting. Fairly easy parking.
06/02/2026: The house pizza is good, the beer on the menu costs 3.50 when I paid it was 4.00 without controversy reprint the menu....

23/01/2026: It's been years since I've been to Deiro for a good hot chocolate... I had it a few days ago, and it wasn't even close to the ones I remembered, uniquely dense. Now it's runny, like so many others...
As for the ambiance, despite the original furnishings, it could use a little updating, keeping with tradition but not smelling musty...
Disappointment
29/12/2025: We ordered some toasted sandwiches. After waiting about 30 minutes (while customers who had come in after us were being served) and repeated inquiries, they arrived cold. They looked like they'd just come off the supermarket shelf.
The price was truly exorbitant.

08/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in due con un antipasto piemontese (cipolla ripiena, peperone con bagna cauda, trota salmonata, e altre specialità) dei ravioli del plin ed una polenta concia.
A seguire un dolce tipico e due caffè

Molto positiva la disponibilità del personale a sostituire una delle componenti l’antipasto ad entrambi sgradita.
Porzioni generose e di qualità
Unica nota stonata (che mi fatto dare solo 4 pallini) l’assenza di un menù scritto ; ritengo che sia corretto, al di là dei prezzi onesti, che il commensale sappia quanto sta spendendo prima di ordinare

Trattoria Del Parco Della Burcina

08/11/2025: The park, owned by Unipol (and therefore not municipal), is very beautiful, and it's fortunate that it exists. However, on the west side (the side facing San Lazzaro), there are few trees; in the summer, you'll have to seek shelter under the few trees and bushes.
There are few trash cans, especially for dog owners; you'll need to carry your own waste bags for half the park. Or, as I unfortunately sometimes see, not using them at all :-(. Furthermore, the already few bins are not emptied frequently enough; see attached photo.
It's possible to create a circular route around Villa Cicogna, using the bike/pedestrian path. Unfortunately, there's no separate path for cyclists, forcing you to constantly dodge them. But, what can I say, everything can be improved, so for now, it's good that it exists.
I "downgraded" the rating because the property doesn't take sufficient care of maintenance. For example, some streetlights have been out for almost six months, and at certain times the nighttime lighting isn't working (e.g., Sept. 2025), and a reminder to the municipality is needed before anything is done.
