27/10/2024: Conosco questa gelateria da una vita,il gelato è sempre ottimo. Se ho talvolta cambiato è per questioni di spazio,infatti è un locale non molto grande all 'interno e non è disponibile una toilette ma forse siamo diventati troppo sofisticati. Il gelato è tra i migliori nel biellese. Che dire? Scegliere tra un ottimo gelato o meno ottimo ma con comodità, tutto non si può avere.

18/12/2024: Simple Mexican style place, good menu offering and really excellent food, even if the portions are not abundant. The friendly and helpful staff, we were pleasantly surprised by the Christmas gift at the end of the dinner (glass and bottle opener). The only flaw in the evening was the cold, there was no heating but only a water heater. In general, however, I will return because I liked it. :)

02/02/2025: Oggi abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante dall'atmosfera davvero piacevole frutto di una ristrutturazione a salvaguardia delle origini di questo borgo medievale "Il Ricetto di Candelo" Al suo interno fa bella mostra di sé un Torchio antico enorme penso unico nel suo genere. La cucina è di buon livello con materie prima di qualità,il servizio attento e gentile tutto lo staff è giovane e si percepiscono energie positive . Prezzi giusti come le porzioni. I somma lo consiglio e ringrazio il titolare e la sign.del negozio di scarpe da ballo che ci ha indirizzato in questo luogo.

17/12/2024: Arrivati a Biella per una mostra, ci siamo trovati a cercare un locale per un aperitivo. Tolta l'estetica del locale, classica e "calda", ci ha attratto il menù: alla fine l'aperitivo è diventato una cena! Ottimi i piatti e abbondanti (il Riso mantecato al Caprino notevole), i Cocktail classici eseguiti in maniera impeccabile (Old Fashioned eccezionale), la signature list di facile lettura con drink non banali. Ci dispiace solo una cosa: abitare così distanti!

01/03/2025: We asked for lactose-free milk and were told that they only had real milk, after this I said everything will be that it was Sunday morning at 8 and they had just opened but not a nice welcome. For the rest, good food and a nice view.

14/10/2024: Passata per la prima volta circa 10 giorni fa per un vassoietto di paste. È una pasticceria che avrei sempre voluto provare, ma una volta entrata ambiente per nulla pulito, tra vetrine e cassa con un dito di polvere, pochi pasticcini e non di bell'aspetto, si vedevano che non erano freschi, ma stupidamente li ho presi ugualmente. Una volta a casa, purtroppo l'assaggio ha confermato l'aspetto, paste secche che sono risultate molli e di gusto vecchio, meringhe molto dure, il resto finito direttamente nella spazzatura. Non mi è mai capitato di buttare via dei dolci e di fare una pessima figura.

20/02/2025: The lady who served us was very kind, but it seemed like she was a substitute. The waiting times, considering that there were not many customers, were too long. The environment is not the best, but there was background music and this is positive. It probably yields more in the summer period. As for meat, I'm sorry, but the quality/price ratio is a no. Not bad, but for the price it should have been excellent (€100 a kg of ribeye from Emilia Romagna)…

18/08/2024: I think this is the first negative review I've written, I don't usually rage by shooting at the red cross....... We had lunch with friends on August 15th and it was unfortunately a terrible experience for everyone. Lack of attention to dietary needs already reported by telephone at the time of booking. The dishes, which on paper looked very good, in reality were of poor quality and the unrecognizable ingredients were so badly dosed and badly cooked. Almost indistinguishable jumbles. The first seemed to have been seasoned with a ready-made Mutti sauce from the supermarket, its "chemical" aftertaste left us with many doubts regarding its creation and we all digested it until the next day. The second was also an unsuccessful experiment: roast beef with an unrecognizable filling drowned in a sweet and sour-like pepper sauce that covered every type of taste. All accompanied by a diced of literally charred baked potatoes, inedible and left over by everyone, including the tables next to them. How do you get a dish like that out of the kitchen? Of 10 potatoes presented 9 were literally black, completely charred. Lastly, what was supposed to be a peach and amaretti affogato was instead a teaspoon of ice cream presented in a bowl smaller than a coffee cup, with a teaspoon of orange sauce that perhaps should have been reminiscent of peaches. The two young waitresses seemed improvised and rather awkward even when remembering absolutely banal requests (sparkling or natural water, bread). Very slow service but no one was in a hurry as they were relaxing in mid-August. To add insult to injury: when they went to pay we were told only then that they didn't have the POS. Panic as none of us had cash except a friend who had to pay for everyone, to our embarrassment. Menu from €29 each which became €40 with 1 bottle of mediocre white wine. Continuous complaints and comments from the tables of diners next to us confirmed that they did not have the baluettes. Terrifying.

08/09/2024: Excellent food, variety of local cheeses unmatched even in the shops in the city centre, quality cold cuts and impeccable bakery. Very inviting artisan desserts department. super welcoming and very kind staff. The perfect place to enjoy a sandwich, a slice of cake or to buy local products. I'll be back 🫶
