Super welcoming place, a true trattoria from the golden years where the food is delicious and the portions are generous, just like grandma's on Sundays. Typical Piedmontese lunch, naturally with a strong local influence. We'll return again and again. Weather permitting, the outdoor terrace is a real treat.

We had the polenta, and it was excellent. But that's where the positives end. On the downside, we had to insist on trying the polenta because the restaurant's policy was a full lunch (?!). Equally negative was the lack of a menu with prices, and the slow, somewhat cold, and distant service.

For those looking for an old-fashioned trattoria, this is the place: a generous set menu with various appetizers, a choice of five first courses and five second courses, and a very low bill for what you ate and drank. Typical Piedmontese cuisine, such as polenta concia, cheeses, and cured meats, is served. If you're looking for a low-calorie dinner or are vegan, stay away. From the reviews, we expected a good, home-cooked lunch.
They offer a fixed menu of mixed appetizers and a choice of a first course and a second course, which we later understand is "or a second course," but during the lady at the table, it isn't offered unless you specifically ask for it.
Among the dishes that disappointed us were
Peppers with bagnacauda,
Polenta concia, strudel, and red wine on tap.
The meat in the tartar is very good, but perhaps machine-cut, too creamy, and served without oil, salt, or pepper!
Sorry, but for me, it's a NO!

A 1970s-style restaurant. Good service and food! I'm giving it five stars because we ate well and spent very little. Three generous appetizers and three main courses, with a half-liter of red wine and two bottles of water, cost €70 (€23 each).
