10/09/2025: Excellent quality products, excellent coffee, as well as the excellent cake we tasted, I am a companion and inseparable dog (small size) very welcome, beautiful place, which ranges from tables outside in the open air to group tables to rather secluded and quiet seating where you can sit and work (rather than) with PC and smartphone, highly recommended, I will not fail to return🔝🔝

25/08/2025: We came here for breakfast and waited a bit for service. The pastries were decent, so overall, it's an average cafe, very conveniently located near the center.

02/10/2025: A simple but authentic trattoria. A choice of three first courses and four second courses for lunch. Excellent and generous dishes; service charge, bread, breadsticks, water, and wine are included. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent (really excellent) value. Highly recommended for those who value substance!

22/08/2025: The Parco delle Rovere is located at the end of the Cervo Valley in the village of Piedicavallo, a green space alongside the Cervo River, perfect for picnics or relaxing on hot summer days. There's a large parking lot for those visiting the valley for the many hikes available. Several trails depart from the park to various refuges; to the Vecchia Lake, Rivetti, Madonna degli Angeli, and Gragliasca. There's also a kiosk that recently changed management and is worth a stop for its friendly service, reasonable prices, and beautiful scenery. It's a popular spot from June to September during hot weather.

18/10/2025: Coming down from Oropa, we stopped for a delicious pizza at this historic restaurant, where time seems to have stood still! A place where you can enjoy good food and have a quiet conversation without being disturbed by the chatter of other customers! We'll definitely be back!

02/11/2025: I happened upon Crevacuore by chance and discovered this excellent pizzeria that offers excellent quality and variety of pizzas. The environment is clean and welcoming, the owners are very courteous and friendly, the pizza dough is excellent and cooked to perfection, the prices are more than fair, if not very low for the quality and service offered. I recommend trying it if you are in the area.

26/10/2025: What a wonderful discovery! This trattoria is a true historic gem, a corner of Piedmont steeped in tradition and resistance. Here, within these simple walls steeped in history, the legendary "Contratto della Montagna" was signed during the Nazi-Fascist occupation—a place that is more than just a restaurant, but a living piece of our collective memory. The interior perfectly reflects that era: simple furnishings, rough-hewn wooden tables, and an intimate atmosphere that envelops you like a family embrace, without frills but with authentic warmth. The menu is a fixed price. A good selection of typical local dishes, all rigorously local and expertly prepared. Simple, authentic dishes, generous portions, and flavors that remind you of home. I'm picky about my lingua in bagnetto (a stewed tongue) because I've never found it like my mother, a true Piedmontese, makes it in any restaurant, but here it was truly delicious! And you have to try the arancini di panissa! Clean restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. If you're looking for a place where history meets pure flavor, stop here. Highly recommended! I'll be back to try the polenta concia too!

01/06/2025: Locale inserito nel Ricetto di Candelo, antico borgo medievale!! Mura antiche che all’interno custodiscono un gioiello dell’ingegno umano: un torchio imponente. Ambienti affascinanti e citatissimi, cucina e servizio eccellenti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale. Valore aggiunto del ristorante è il suo proprietario, Alberto, un vero anfitrione e chaperone!!

02/11/2025: A typical Piedmontese trattoria, with a welcoming, family atmosphere, recommended locally by Mr. Loris of Belle Cose. I was welcomed and made to feel at ease with their banter, while remaining very professional. Excellent food, top value. The polenta concia is super, and deserves a 10! I will definitely be back. Highly recommended for those who want to eat locally without spending a lot and without waiting too long for a quick lunch to enjoy the beauty of the Oropa sanctuary.
