Excellent trattoria with a friendly owner. The food is good and the value is excellent. No frills, and stuck in the '80s. The fixed menu is available even on weekends, with the option of booking special menus for special occasions. Recommended.

A restaurant that lives up to its name, "Trattoria." Spartan, yet homely and welcoming. The dishes are sincere, unfussy, and down-to-earth, both in preparation and portion size. Very fair prices.

When I'm in the area for work, I always stop here. The food is good and plentiful at a great price. The only flaw is the service. Although the girls are always quick and very kind, the wait times are truly exaggerated, even when there aren't many people. I only gave it 4 stars because of their dedication. As a casual lunch spot, it deserves 5 stars.

28/10/2025: A typical, sincere trattoria! The owners are welcoming, down-to-earth, and happy with their work. Lots of loyal customers. I found a wonderful place in the small town of Miagliano, in a charming little square. Only three choices on the daily menu. Good food. Nice house wine. Family atmosphere. Very fair prices! For €10 per person, we even had dessert! I'll be back a hundred times! It has a large indoor dining room and a garden in the summer.
14/10/2025: I'm only giving it 4 stars because I only had a coffee there, but those who know it speak highly of it. It's definitely an old-fashioned trattoria.

10/05/2026: Quiet, friendly, and family-friendly atmosphere, very good food, generous portions. We'll be back to try Deborah's pizza!
01/05/2026: We returned to La Lanterna again today. It's our favorite restaurant because it serves simple yet delicious food. You can eat inside or outside, surrounded by the mountains. How lovely! The fried gnocco is always delicious! And the cured meats too, and the porcini mushroom risotto is excellent! Overall, it's a very simple place with a warm welcome and helpful owners. I like going there because it makes me feel at home. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area. We'll definitely be back.
