25/05/2025: Great experience. The place, located in a very central position, is welcoming and youthful. The staff is kind and clear in explaining the type of experience that is offered. The pasta is excellent: I loved being able to order, together with the pasta, a slice of bread specifically for mopping up the sauce. Recommended!
23/05/2025: Ordered a spritz and got half a water-sized glass of pre-mixed, supermarket spritz which - coincidentally - was mostly ice. Scammy marketing. Truely embarassing. Don't offer spritz if you can't even bother to make it

09/05/2025: Vi var her på pastakurs. Det var Vito - sjefen sjøl - som lærte oss de forskjellige typer pasta. Etter kurset fikk vi servert 8 retter av pastaen vi hadde laget. 8 veldig gode retter. Favorittene var tagliatelle med asparges, lasagne og suppe. Men med så mange retter har man null sjanse for å spise opp alt. Vi var så mette etterpå at vi spiste ikke før frokost dagen etter. Utsøkt mat og nydelig vin!

26/05/2025: We went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday and we have fond memories of it. The location is enchanting, surrounded by greenery with a breathtaking view from the parking lot (convenient and very close to the restaurant). The environment is intimate, with attention to detail and welcoming, with a family atmosphere made even more pleasant by the kindness and friendliness of the owners, truly attentive from start to finish. We were greeted with a welcome aperitif and a salami to slice directly at the table, a simple but original gesture. The appetizers based on cold cuts and cheeses were tasty, as were the desserts, well presented and enriched with a delicious zabaglione cream, although perhaps slightly expensive considering the technical simplicity of the cakes. Some dishes were less convincing: the saffron-sautéed rice au gratin with fondue seemed too dry and not very tasty, while the Castelmagno, honey and hazelnut gnocchi were decidedly sweet, so much so as to be a bit cloying. The tagliata, requested rare, arrived well done. The agnolotti with white ragù from Monferrato and the green tagliatelle were very good. Overall, the prices are fair, even though there are similar alternatives in the area with a better quality-price ratio. However, the quality of the welcome, the sincere attention to the customer and the final gesture - a kind tribute to my mother - really made the difference. You can clearly feel the passion and care that the owners put into their work, and this is worth a lot. This makes customers come back. And we will gladly come back.

05/05/2025: I went to Lido Malone for the first time in 25 years (it wasn't yet a pizzeria like it is now) with friends, and we had a very good time. Good pizza, kind and friendly owner and waiters, honest prices. The room is large and not at all noisy and it is also possible to watch football matches, thanks to two large televisions. We will be back!

18/03/2025: We are traveling with five kids, ages 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11 years. After a long day, everyone was tired and hungry. We literally stumbled in and sat down before realizing the atmosphere was so sophisticated. Miming to the server, Luca (who we later found out is the third generation of this family), we asked if all the kids are ok and he was happy to have us. He was accommodating, patient and really kind. We will do our best to go back before we leave!

25/05/2025: A perfect evening! Last night I celebrated my birthday with a group of friends and I couldn't have asked for anything better! The aperitif was simply exceptional: rich, varied and with truly superior quality appetizers, far from the usual banal aperitifs that you find around. Every taste was a discovery, and we were all pleasantly surprised. A special thanks goes to Alessandro, Natalia and Beatrice, who with their kindness, availability and attention to detail made the evening even more special. The whole company really appreciated their way of welcoming us and making us feel at home. We will definitely be back, and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an evening or a brunch dedicated to taste and hospitality.

18/05/2025: La pizza più buona di Ivrea , senza se e senza ma… , ottima anche la pizza senza glutine , staff super gentile. Non è un locale “patinato” ma se volete la pizza buona venite qui !
30/04/2025: Conoscevamo già il locale, ci siamo tornati e ci siamo trovati di nuovo bene. Non conosciamo molto oltre alla pizza, ma quella la riprendiamo sempre volentieri. Buono l'impasto (basso, è una scelta), abbondanti le farciture, addirittura elefantiaca la carta, forse addirittura troppo, ci si perde. Il servizio è sempre stato rapido e il personale simpatico; la presenza di tanti clienti abituali fa di questo locale quasi una "pizzeria di quartiere", cosa a mio avviso apprezzabile. Molto buona (e non la classica e un po' banale bionda da pizzeria) la birra alla spina. Il prezzo è senz'altro onesto per la qualità di quanto mangiato. Ci torneremo.

02/06/2025: This is clearly not a michelin table. For anyone used to french michelin table (I'm not talking about stars or anything) please don't be fulled. When a client is asking for a non alcoholic drink and the only thing you have to propose is sprits without proposing anything else when the client is not interested, this is not a michelin. The menu is made of paper sheets, decorated with oil drops 👌 this is not a michelin. The quality of the starters, well, there is no balance in the tastes, the salade is thrown in the plate the sauces are too acidic. For the plate, you don't put aluminium paper around a potato in a michelin table plate, nothing is neat, from the poor salad leaves that are lost in the plate, the stuffing is grossly cut, no balance in the tastes. This is really the level of an average braaserie you'll find in france, and that you'll forget about. Let's skip the dessert cause it is of the same level really. I was scared of another tourist trap, well I should have thought twice before going there.
23/05/2025: We had a wonderful lunch on Saturday, May 17th at Stornello: the dishes were excellent and refined, and the service impeccable. The best part: Mimo's friendliness. The server, in addition to being cheerful and attentive to his customers, gave us ideas for visiting the beautiful town of Stresa. Thanks, Mimo. Vincenzo and Alessandra

LA VECCHIA TRATTORIA DELLA PACE

07/06/2025: Nice little trattoria where we found a very friendly atmosphere and good local food prepared on the spot. The mixed antipasto of cured meats, Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, tongue in green sauce and peppers with bagnacauda (1 dish for two) were good. Ravioli del plin were good and an excellent dish of very tender kingfish with baked potatoes cooked at a low temperature. We left satisfied both for lunch and for the relaxed and quiet environment... like in a cloud. Thank you.
