17/11/2024: We booked this B&B because we had been given a Smartbox package that we wanted to take advantage of. I must say that among the various choices it seemed the only one worth visiting. With the navigator's directions we arrived right in front of it without any difficulty. The restaurant has closed so what remains is only the B&B. Having retrieved the keys we entered a mini apartment. Since we are a couple, we were given the opportunity to use a double bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen without a kitchen 😁 The other rooms had been locked. The environment immediately seemed clean even if the furnishings were a little dated. The bedroom is very spacious, the sheets look new, it's a shame about the single mattresses on double slats which are a little uncomfortable for a couple if you don't have the habit of sleeping each in their own place. In the Smartbox description it reported two nights + two breakfasts + a picnic basket. We didn't receive the latter and, to be honest, we didn't even ask for it because we were already organized for lunches and dinners. Breakfast is served directly by the owner (kind and discreet) at an agreed time. It's a homemade breakfast, not exactly what you expect but I have to say that all in all it turned out to be healthy and nutritious. Let's say that overall it is a nice place, in an absolutely naturalistic and peaceful context, it just needs to be refreshed and modernized a little.

02/01/2025: If you are looking for an unforgettable gastronomic experience, you absolutely cannot miss the Trattoria del Peso in Castino. I spent New Year's Eve dinner at this place and I was thrilled. The two chefs Vincenzo and Nicola, friendly and passionate about their work, delighted us with quality dishes. Each course was a masterpiece, fresh and refined ingredients and maximum cleanliness and order were evident in every corner of the restaurant. Most of the tables are made up of foreign tourists who appreciate good food. It was a pleasure to share the evening with people from different parts of the world. I had fun, in an environment that conveyed conviviality and friendliness. If you are in Castino, don't miss the opportunity to experience this culinary wonder. I recommend it! 16/12/2024: Excellent working lunch today in Cuneo. The trattoria la Gustosa was truly a pleasant surprise thanks to the friendliness of the owner Carmine who makes you feel right at home. I recommend it without hesitation. Vincenzo with the red jacket.

There were six of us and, despite the reservation, we had to wait about an hour to receive the pizzas, as if our order had been forgotten. The pizza was good, but nothing exceptional.

Ho preso una crepes salata e una cotoletta, a seguire il dolce, cheescake, chiudendo in bellezza. Tutto squisito e rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo! Peccato che abito lontano, ma sicuramente ci tornerò!

23/01/2025: Tre amiche di cui una celiaca e intollerante al lattosio. Il locale è molto carino, il servizio gentile e accurato e generoso di sorrisi (che di sti tempi non sono scontati). Il cibo ottimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo fantastico. Grandissima cura e disponibilità per le intolleranze della nostra amica. Torneremo. Ancora. Ci eravamo già state ed è stata una conferma.
