17/07/2025: Franco, il proprietario, è una di quelle persone che purtroppo non trovo più o quasi. Anche in Toscana, mia terra natia, si contano sulle dita di una mano. Oramai è tutto business. Ho potuto fare il locale senza esserlo. Tifoso granata lui e viola io abbiamo fatto in tempo a inneggiare anche all'odiata innominabile. Mangiato benissimo spendendo la metà che a Varese. Irrinunciabile. Ci tornerò di sicuro.
05/06/2025: Che dire, trattorie simili non credo ne esistano più. Non si mangia, si viaggia indietro nel tempo. Pasta tutta fatta in casa, attenzione maniacale per i dettagli, cura del cliente. Peccato che i gestori che sono qui da oltre quarant’anni l’anno prossimo chiuderanno bottega. spero di ritornarci per vivere un’esperienza unica di nuovo.

21/07/2025: Abbiamo deciso di recarci in questo Ristorante per una sensazione fortemente positiva mentre eravamo alla ricerca di qualcosa di non comune. E ci siamo trovati benissimo. Ed ogni sorriso, ciascuna nostra parola di approvazione era frutto spontaneo di ogni emozione provata. A partire dalla accoglienza della Padrona di casa Elena, radiosa e cortese, lo staff di sala, dalla location da favola e per ultimo, ma non di importanza, della passione per la cucina con alta creatività e capacità dimostrate dallo chef Simone ad ogni portata. Ciò che più mi ha colpito è avere assaporato una pietanza ancor prima che con il gusto, con il senso dell'olfatto. È il top. Tanto che per il nostro Anniversario ci torneremo e auspichiamo di trovare anche una collocazione presso il loro Hotel. Claudia e Loris

27/07/2025: Excellent value for money in this friendly restaurant, ideally located at the foot of the Sacra.
Piedmontese cuisine is featured prominently, including a delicious roast veal.
The desserts are homemade: special mention goes to the apple tart and bunet, a Piedmontese specialty that I highly recommend!

Risotto.

Fantastica la maionese alla menta e le grappe.

We are now on our fourth visit to Castello di Montecavallo, and each time it is an unforgettable experience. We chose to celebrate my birthday here and, as always, everything was perfect.
The castle is a magical place, cared for down to the smallest details and managed with passion. Martina is an extraordinary hostess: she welcomes you with a smile and tells the story and the work behind each glass with contagious passion. The wine, needless to say, is simply incredible — each tasting is a journey through authentic aromas and flavors.
This time we wanted to complete the experience by sleeping a night in the B&B inside the estate. The rooms are large, elegantly furnished and perfectly in tune with the beauty of the place. The view of the greenery is picture-postcard, everything is kept with a care that can be felt everywhere.
In the morning we were greeted by a dream breakfast, prepared by Erica, who with sweetness and attention makes you start the day with a smile and many delights.
In summary? A place of the soul, where you can always return. Highly recommended.

I went on a Sunday and was offered two menus, one meat and one fish, for €20 and €25 respectively, including water, wine, dessert, and coffee.
The food quality is acceptable considering the prices.
I'm celiac, and they offered alternative dishes.

The internal parking is definitely an added value, as is the smile of the waitresses; the furnishings, especially on the outdoor veranda, however, leave a little to be desired
