07/02/2025: Our favorite bar in Alessandria. If you want to drink a cup of aromatic coffee or enjoy a full home-cooked lunch, then this is definitely the place for you. A wide choice of sandwiches for all tastes. I would like to especially highlight the pleasant atmosphere and the classic interior. P.S. From time to time an interesting event called "Bagna Cauda Evening" is held here. We had never tried this dish anywhere before.

La visita della cantina è stata un un'esperienza meravigliosa continuata poi durante il pranzo tutto ottimo e i camerieri preparati nei loro racconti sui vini serviti,cibo e servizio eccellente ottimo posto con una vista spettacolare

25/05/2025: The place where I ate and was treated worse. Three cuts out of 3 were cooked incorrectly, I ordered a hamburger and after a quarter of an hour they told me they were out of stock. Pizza with porcini mushrooms from the menu arrived with champignon mushrooms. Terrible pizzas, the frozen ones are better. Very long waiting times, 1 hour from arrival at the restaurant. I had to remind the waitress that she had marked an extra dish. Bread and side dishes late compared to the dishes. At the cash register when we were asked if everything was ok, when we reported it the owner (?) immediately changed her attitude (rude) giving excuses that were later denied. I paid with a 100 euro note the bill of 61, they gave me 39 euros counted to the cent. DO NOT GO THERE

19/05/2025: Abbiamo prenotato sul posto questo ristorante, La signora che ci ha preso la prenotazione ci ha confermato la disponibilità. Siamo tornati all’ora con lei convenuta e siamo entrati nel ristorante. Dopo 10 minuti la signora, pur avendoci visto, non ci ha degnato di uno sguardo. Quando mi sono rivolta a lei per dirle che avevamo una prenotazione, mi ha risposto “un attimino”. Dopo mezz’ora di attesa, questo “attimino” non era ancora passato e la signora continuava ad ignorarci. Altri due camerieri erano presenti e il loro atteggiamento era lo stesso della signora. Ce ne siamo andati sconfortati e delusi e ovviamente non torneremo mai più. Veramente inqualificabili, per nulla professionali e per niente educati! Consigliamo a chi volesse visitare il Lago delle Fate di pranzare altrove o di portarsi la colazione al sacco!

02/05/2025: Pranzo pessimo, La polenta immangiabile per il retrogusto amaro poiché era stata bruciata, lo spezzatino salatissimo e nel piatto di gnocchi al ragu abbiamo trovato un capello. La loro fortuna è la posizione.. La cosa che fa arrabbiare è che capita di bruciare una polenta ma non essendo una preparazione che richiede molto tempo poteva essere rifatta visto che andava servita anche a dei bambini! Peccato

24/05/2025: Attracted by the reviews, we called and asked if they had 2 places. When they confirmed, we said that we would be there in half an hour and that we had a wonderbox. The girl on the phone asked us for the code and we left. Two minutes later she called us back saying that her colleague had told her that you couldn't book the wonderbox on the same day you used it and to call back next Saturday. Strange..... in the reviews I had just read about others who showed up there directly with the wonderbox and were accepted. Too bad, obviously for them... not for us... now we are in another place where they didn't make a fuss and.... We are eating very well

Die besten Tagliarin weit und breit.Auch mit den Kindern war es ein sehr angenehmer Abend Michele der uns betreute war sehr charmant und professionell zugleich. 28/12/2024: Siamo capitati per caso giorovagando per le Langhe e non potevamo essere più fortunati. Cibo sublime dall’ antipasto al dolce, vini super ma nella zona puoi trovare di ogni. Gran qualità e grande accoglienza. Straconsigluato

02/06/2025: Today at lunch we celebrated my mother's 93rd birthday and it was her first time at AL MORO. She was thrilled. The staff was very kind, witty, courteous and professional, fast and attentive service, excellent food quality and portions. Congratulations and thanks to the waiting staff who made this day special, we will definitely be back very soon!!👏👍

15/06/2025: Essen war okay aber der Service katastrophal. Sowas unfreundliches. Man merkt einfach als Familie ist man hier nicht willkommen man möchte eher nur die reichen haben. Mein Mann ist Italiener was die Kellnerin nicht wusste und als sie an Tisch zu uns kam Fluch sie auf italienisch über uns, da sie dachte wir verstehen sie nicht und sind nur deutsche. Also als deutscher würde ich da definitiv nicht mehr zum essen gehen. Die behandeln einen wie der letzte Müll und dann noch mit Kindern, dann ist es vorbei.

31/05/2025: The view of the lake is beautiful! But the food isn't the best in Arona. The service is mediocre. We ordered lasagna, but they forgot, and they weren't embarrassed to tell us we hadn't ordered it.

29/03/2025: Pranzo di lavoro, per necessità molto veloce, servizio buono, purtroppo la pasta ripiena è stata portata in tavola troppo cotta. Peccato, le aspettative erano molto alte.

08/06/2025: Very good pizza in a splendid location. For a dinner for two we ate a typical Piedmontese appetizer (built according to our requests) and two excellent pizzas: the queen and the sbracciatella (the latter pizza with Bra sausage that I have rarely found elsewhere; in the photo I had already ruined it a bit...). The service was quick and the waiters were helpful despite the chaos of Saturday night. A flaw, not due to the place, is the parking around the square, which makes access to the latter a bit difficult.

26/05/2025: Everything was very nice and very polite, excellent food products at the table, the only flaw, at least for me, was the lack of light... it was in the evening... a few more watts would have been the best.

11/05/2025: Tried it with the family. Local created from a former farmhouse in the Asti countryside, excellently renovated in rustic style. Typical dishes of Piedmontese cuisine with some reinterpretations in the condiments. Excellent quality and freshness of all the dishes offered, abundant quantity, all courses with an encore: 4 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course, fruit, dessert and coffee. The 2 bottled wines included are also excellent. All for a truly honest price. Professional and very friendly staff. We will definitely return. Highly recommended!
