24/07/2025: Excellent bakery: pizza by the slice: delicious and with many variations! Desserts galore! When I go to the hospital in Borgomanero I always stop there! Clean and tidy place! Very kind and helpful staff! Average prices but not high! Parking both next to the front building and in a small square about 50 meters away.

20/05/2025: We have already been to this little restaurant. My partner and I have an intimate and refined atmosphere. There is a menu at the entrance. Guido Perino, the chef, offers several options, the customer can choose between the à la carte menu but also with a tasting, he has three, the number of courses changes, we chose the intermediate one with 5 courses. At the number of choice he served us a nice hot focaccia and bread always prepared in-house with sourdough. The first departures are starting to arrive, an appetizer consisting of smoked trout with mountain herbs, on a bed of salad and grilled pineapple (to be honest I would never have chosen it, I changed my mind, it was delicious, the earth had a delicate but at the same time strong taste, and then the grilled pineapple is that gem that you don't expect). The second appetizer was called shrimp with peppers and green sauce, good and tasty. The first courses arrive, a fresh pasta fusillone, with cod ragù, tasty but the main course, the one that struck me was the cannelloni alla nerano, hard with ricotta and courgettes inside, with a cream of mozzarella and pepper and with mussels. Very good is an understatement to describe the emotion that it gave me when I ate it. The second course instead, we asked for a beef stew with green beans and dark chocolate for my partner and I took a grilled octopus with aubergines, buffalo cream and caramelised figs, this was out of this world. The end could not be missed and we chose the cream puff filled with chantilly with chocolate sauce. All good.

13/07/2025: A sublime experience! I recommend the first municipal parking lot upon entering the village. A few steps away, you'll find yourself in the quaint alley where you can dine outside in the summer. The interior, converted from an old stable, is extremely charming. I recommend the tasting menu, allowing the maître d' to pair wines by the glass with the various courses, which change according to the local seasonal produce. The wine cellar holds 600 bottles of wine. The wait staff is friendly and efficient!

06/04/2025: Small place, with few tables abroad, but in the seasons that allow it, small outdoor terrace. Very kind staff. Preparation of Gluten free and vegan sandwiches. Gluten free desserts packaged by artisans from a pastry shop in Monza Brianza. I often go for a special cappuccino with rice milk, or gluten-free oat milk or a good coffee, obviously accompanied by a Gluten-free sweet! You are my favourites!!

30/05/2025: Excellent braised ravioli and old-fashioned home cooking.

05/05/2025: I found shelter during a very heavy rainstorm strong, to eat something. The kitchen had just closed, but the lady owner (whose name I don't know) still managed to prepare some excellent homemade braised ravioli and serve me a super tiramisu. Everything was really good, the place was a little dated but well kept and I felt welcomed and treated like at home. Once upon a time realities that are unfortunately becoming increasingly rare. I felt the love and passion in the dishes. I will return very, very willingly.

22/06/2025: Mai avrei detto di mangiare del pesce fresco e cucinato divinamente a Lanzo!! Voto 100 e lode! Il menù degustazione ha 4 antipasti e la pasta e gli antipasti sono anche per due persone. Pasta buonissima con pesce fresco e abbondante. La l'ombrina al forno uno spettacolo di gusto. Porzioni sempre abbondanti e i proprietari sono veri napoletani quindi cosa dire di più!!?? Infine i dolci fatti in casa meritano un posticino nel vostro pranzo o cena. Vi raccomando però non date del lei alla proprietaria che si arrabbia 🤣

16/07/2025: For those who LOVE the mountains, the water flowing under your feet is also great, and especially at that height, you've found the right place. The first impression is seeing these massifs that naturally envelop you, and then guys, the game is done, it's all to be discovered, made sweet by doing nothing, walking on the paths or eating the proposals that they will make you on the spot.

09/07/2025: Worst Ceasar sallad i have ever had. It was very small and the dressing was sub par. It was not disgusting, but not good. Seems like a place just for tourists to grab something quick close to the water.

09/08/2025: Trattoria con splendida vista sui vigneti di dolcetto e nebbiolo, menù fisso con 5 antipasti, scelta tra svariati primi e secondi, ottime proposte di dolci, cantina ben fornita. Servizio veloce e cordiale nonostante il locale fosse affollato. Prezzi in linea con l’offerta. Complimenti alla brigata di sala e cucina. Ci tornerò e la consiglio sicuramente!

06/08/2025: Cena con amiche, tavolo in posizione fantastica con meravigliosa vista sul tramonto. Il cibo non delude come sempre, ottimo con piatti ben curati. Personale cortese e sempre disponibile alle varie richieste!! Cena perfetta prima delle vacanze

20/06/2025: I had a couple of (very reasonably priced) coffees before cycling Finestre and Sestriere but the best was afterwards when I got back to my car and they provided me with a jug of hot water. Obviously a popular stop. Strawberry biscuit snack was very nice too!

03/05/2025: We picked up some rental bikes and the owner, Sergio, was very kind: he dedicated his time to us, provided directions and even gave us water bottles and a bag to do the trip. The coffee is also delicious!!

02/06/2025: Abbiamo ordinato stasera due pizze da asporto alle ore 19.30 con ritiro alle 21. Mio figlio ha atteso 45 minuti prima che le venissero consegnate senza neanche scusarsi per il ritardo. Ho chiamato il ristorante lamentandomi per l’accaduto e uno dei due titolari mi risponde sorridendo che anche lui per una visita medica aveva atteso tanto tempo una volta…. Che dire? Mai più!!
