17/02/2025: We had a very short family holiday in Carloforte and we found it TOP! The “Residenza al Castello” has only positive points: spacious, bright and spotlessly clean room, equipped with all comforts and with 2 panoramic balconies! The property is very close to the center, reachable on foot in a few minutes! The owner Anna Carla provided us with all the useful information for a truly pleasant and high-level stay and she was extraordinarily kind, helpful and professional! Another absolutely positive point is that this structure was open in the low season (February), whereas many local structures are closed in the same period! In short: highly recommended experience and structure! Too bad I can't give more stars! Alex, Carla, Enrico

11/01/2025: We arrived here by chance, after seeing the meringue in the window. This is the best meringue I've ever eaten. Delicate as a cloud, it melts in your mouth. Pure pleasure. We will definitely be back more than once.

04/02/2025: I was with my family for the first time in Limone, and in this restaurant twice during my stay. We ordered pizza and wine. The service was friendly, the pizza had delicious risen dough, good prices, I recommend this place if you want to eat well 👍

01/11/2024: Finalmente siamo riusciti ad andarci a cena. Cibo ottimo, ambiente familiare e personale molto gentile. In più abbiamo avuto la fortuna di fare una bellissima chiacchierata con la titolare che, con i suoi racconti, ci ha trasmesso tutto l' amore e l' attaccamento che ha oer questo territorio.

30/12/2024: Siamo arrivati alle h.15 circa di domenica col timore di non riuscire a pranzare e invece sono stati cortesissimi e abbiamo preso un ottimo tagliere di salumi e formaggi misti delle valli di Lanzo accompagnato da ottimo nebbiolo e una focaccia toast e panino per i ragazzi. Purtroppo avevamo dimenticato il bob dei ragazzi a casa e sono stati così gentili da prestarcene uno: praticamente ci hanno salvato il pomeriggio! Alla fine delle mille slittate siamo rientrati per scaldarci con una cioccolata che finalmente era una cioccolata come si deve, densa e bollente! Bhè, siamo stati così bene che il giorno dopo, anche se dovevamo partire, siamo ritornati per il pranzo, questa volta all'orario giusto: agnolotti al sugo d'arrosto, togliolini alle noci, tomino caldo arrotolato nello speck e arrosto tutto con accompagnamento di verdure cotte, nebbiolo e torta di mele fatta in casa. Tutto ottimo! Per finire, quando i ragazzi si sono saziati di discesine col bob, bisogna di cioccolata e si torna in città. Prezzi onesti, direi: brioches 1,30€, un calice di nebbiolo 3,50€, pranzo "pomeridiano" sui 40-50€ in cinque, cioccolata con panna 3,50€ Ovviamente un posto consigliatissimo, anche per l'estrema cortesia e disponibilità del personale. Ah! Cani accettati, perché ospitalità e cortesia è anche questo!

21/02/2025: Really pleasant environment, good selection of teas and herbal teas, I tried the amaretto tea and I was positively impressed. Good cakes, especially the tart with pistachio cream. Service a little "cold" to be honest, but perhaps it was due to tiredness.

Honest prices for the very good quality they offer! You can't help but go and try it! The myrtle offered at the end of the meal is also delicious!
