04/05/2025: I was welcomed directly by the chef and sommelier with a welcome glass and in the short conversation I immediately felt at ease and I understood that I had chosen a restaurant that knows the ingredients deeply. The venue is a manor house (castle) renovated with head and preserving the best preserved original parts. Friendly and present staff. The meat dishes for my son and fish for me with perfect combinations suggested by the sommelier, have a perfect balance that recall Ferran Adrià's careful study of combinations without ever being cloying like the hand of Alfredo Russo, that enveloping softness and the explosion of taste. I advise all customers to choose starter, first course, second course, cheese and/or dessert according to their personal tastes, you will be able to leave pleasantly satisfied. I gave myself a wonderful birthday present in the company of my son. I don't want to say anything about the dishes, it's nice to marvel.

13/04/2025: A wonderful family-run location to say the least; refined and attentive cuisine; we had dinner during the gorgonzola event, delicious and well presented dishes; the owner Chef Stefano often came to the table and we appreciated this very much, but I must give special praise to the dessert, carefully prepared by Cristina Sommelier and owner; Congratulations to everyone, I highly recommend this location

05/06/2025: I just left this place with some friends of mine, nice place, good food, then time to pay the owner, very rude, I asked to pay for what I had eaten, I'll start by saying that there is no sign that says no separate bills. Well he railed against me saying that for 3 euros more I was wasting his time, note that he had been at the cash register for 10 minutes talking to 2 girls and there weren't that many people to serve, and if you allow me, as I replied, I'll manage my money. 14/06/2025: We went to the restaurant for our anniversary. Clean tram, super friendly staff, very good food and wines. Although the experience was very nice, I recommend doing it in the not too hot months because the tram is without air conditioning.

19/05/2025: Ho visitato questo ristorante durante una gita a Macugnaga e mi è stato segnalato da alcuni concittadini conosciuti nella piazza principale. Ristorante tipico della zona con piatti tipici e cucina casalinga ottimo consiglio per pranzare in una bellissima giornata di maggio molto buona la polenta con gli intingoli servizio velocetipico casalingo comunque di buon livello sicuramente da rivisitare al più presto.

19/05/2025: Posto da ritornare e consigliare. Tutto buono e abbondante per una vera cucina casalinga. Troppo scotto il primo , forse un altro tipo di pasta (saraceno, farro) avrebbe esaltato di più la pietanza. Trovo fuori luogo la musica dance ad alto volume e servire una bottiglia di vino con dei bicchieri non adeguati .

19/04/2025: Prima volta ci siamo trovati bene,tutto buono anche il servizio ambiente tranquillo si sta bene unico appunto che posso fare il gelato con le fragole buono ma poco gelato poi restano le fragole da sole non hanno un gran sapore é una piccolezza chiaro comunque ci ritorneremo

15/06/2025: Restaurant to avoid! Very expensive prices and not in line with location and food! Incorrect staff, asked us to cancel the reservation the fork and did not apply the discount. Did not provide details on the bill and did not want to bring us the bill to the table to avoid checks.

08/06/2025: Definitely not recommended. The place is very dark, with no open windows and not very healthy. The food is mediocre, not in line with the prices displayed on the menu, which are particularly high. A particularly negative mention about the service: the staff initially appeared polite but then changed direction once they understood that we only wanted to order one dish. No vegetarian option. The bill was significantly overcharged (at least €30, by calculation) and when we asked for more clarification we were told "we are not ripping you off" but we were not given any details of the bill. For completeness: 5 covers, 3 first courses, 1 second course, 1 appetizer, 2 glasses of wine and 2 waters: €144. You decide. Scammers To be avoided.

12/05/2025: Nice refuge, starting point for excursions towards the Val Grande and Mount Faie (very popular). The refuge can be reached via an easy and wide path in 10 minutes on foot from the end of the asphalt road. The guys who run it are very nice and helpful

04/05/2025: Rifugio ai piedi del monte Faiè, ottimo come base di partenza o per un ristoro dopo la camminata. Noi abbiamo pranzato in terrazzo ed è stato molto piacevole. Cibo buono (tagliere, polenta e zuppa di lenticchie) servizio un po’ in affanno dato il giorno festivo ma se non si ha fretta l’attesa viene ripagata.
