08/07/2025: A very small but fine wine bar in Borgomale. We came here for dinner and had a mixed plate of typical Italian antipasti, as well as two regional pasta dishes each. Everything was very well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere in the old cellar vault was both rustic and modern. The wine selection is typically extensive in the region, but they also offer wines by the glass if it's just the two of you and you can't manage a whole glass.

22/07/2025: First time at Pizzium and definitely not the last! Really good pizza, with a light and digestible dough that doesn't weigh you down! Fresh and well-matched ingredients, fast service, and friendly staff. A great discovery! I recommend it.

22/06/2025: We arrived at the Locanda after a day of sports, quite pessimistic about whether they would be able to feed us since it was 5:45 pm, a time that is neither dinner nor lunch. Instead, to our great surprise, the restaurant does not close between lunch and dinner (at least in the summer, I don't know about other seasons) and is very willing to accommodate its guests! We agreed on a pretty good cutting board, they were kind because they offered us two sizes (and relative prices) of cutting board depending on how hungry we were, I found it very intelligent that they made the price explicit because at least that way there are no misunderstandings. We had a good time and we noticed that they were already setting the table for dinner and had several reservations, which confirms to me that the food is good. The outdoor area consists of wooden and metal benches and tables plus some plastic tables and chairs, there are also gazebos to offer shade to some tables so one can choose. In summary: recommended!

29/03/2025: An amazing family restaurant!!! We had a Family lunch with 10 people. Service was outstanding and the food even better. Wow wow wow. Highly recommend.

05/03/2025: We learned about this wonderful place thanks to my husband who won a lunch for 2 people. Lunch consisted of an appetizer, a first course, dessert, glass of wine, water and coffee. Unlike other places, where "eating for free" they almost don't consider you and can't wait for you to leave, we were welcomed with extreme kindness and warmth by all the staff!! The hostess was phenomenal, from the service to telling the story of Buronzo, the castle and the inn. The open kitchen allowed us to compliment the chef as we thoroughly appreciated the dishes offered (complete with a final touch). Then we had the opportunity to view the internal courtyard and purchase products in the small shop, also inside the restaurant. I hope to go back because I loved everything! The food, the place, the owner and everything else!!! And then also the walk through the historic center! Really beautiful

07/07/2025: Welcoming place both inside, there are two nice rooms and outside there is a beautiful covered terrace. Excellent food. Fresh homemade pasta. Delicate but tasty flavors. The peaches with anchovies and parsley are really worth trying.....one of the many treats to try. Every course changed plate and cutlery. Kind and professional staff. We will definitely be back. 16/06/2025: Conosco e frequento la Baritlera da molti anni. Il livello è rimasto estremamente elevato sia nella cucina - davvero ottima e capace di concorrere e superare ristoranti ben più rinomati (evviva il cuoco!) - che nel servizio. Il locale è situato in un luogo molto tranquillo e in armonia con il territorio. I locali semplici e accoglienti, si fondono perfettamente con il paesaggio. Il personale, cortese, competente e sorridente, rende ogni pasto un vero piacere in un clima di relax. Gli ingredienti, sempre di stagione, locali e di qualità ottima, sono magnificamente elaborati in ricette e combinazione che sono una sorpresa e un vero piacere per il palato.Che dire? Bravi, bravi e ancora bravi: tenete duro e continuate così!

26/03/2025: I'll start by saying this is my first time stopping here for lunch. Despite its simplicity, the place is very tidy, and the lady who took our orders and brought us both our first and second courses was very friendly, and the food was cooked by them. I'd love to stop by again if I'm in the area.

04/08/2025: Negativo. Un tagliere e 2 birre una macedonia e una crostata. 53 euro. Di lunedì non c'era nessuno e siamo nella mia vallata!!! Ma più!!!

14/07/2025: Siamo stati qui con un gruppo di amici. Abbiamo optato per il menù di pesce (è disponibile anche di terra). Gli antipasti, uno più buono dell’altro. Abbiamo iniziato con una tartare di tonno fresco con pomodori confit, con un tonno tagliato a grandi listarelle. Sicuramente il punto forte della giornata. Un polpo con burrata e pesto: eccellente. A seguire una rana pescatrice con cipolla e pomodorini con una cottura perfetta e a chiudere gli antipasti una capasanta gratinata, ottima. I sapori di cipolla e aglio sono notevoli sia nel caso della rana che nella panatura della capasanta. Apprezzati personalmente. Per primo una tonnellata di spaghetti allo scoglio, buonissimi, e pieni di frutti di mare. Abbiamo saltato i secondi perché eravamo troppo pieni. Dolci, vino, caffè, acqua e amari, alla cifra di 40€. Pochissimo per la qualità dei prodotti. Servizio eccellente, il personale è preparato, alla mano e molto disponibile. Location tranquilla. 5/5.

30/04/2025: Sono un motociclista e le Langhe era una meta che dovevo fare, ovviamente non potevo non approfittare anche di un giro cantina/pranzo e degustazione vini..alla tenuta Germano mi ha accolto una piacevole donna di nome Viviana, una donna solare e simpatica, mi sono sentito subito a mio agio , mi ha fatto visitare la parte esterna delle vigne e spiegato in maniera dettagliata come vengono gestite , curate e trattate...( Fatevi spiegare perché ci sono pochi insetti nelle vigne 😆 ) . Il Giro per le cantine è da fare... si respira storia , si vede il passato che si intreccia col presente. Legno, acciaio, vetro, una mappa deve si vede il territorio perfettamente suddiviso per dare una giusta categoria e qualità all'uva...niente è lì per caso, tutto studiato nei minimi dettagli...bello! La visita è durata 1 oretta circa, dopodiché ci siamo spostati nel suo locale " il bosco delle galline volanti " dove mi aspettava la degustazione , io ho scelto quella base da 60€ Gli assaggi buonissimi, ho chiesto le ricette quasi supplicando ma Viviana è un osso duro, ha tenuto il segreto ( mainagioia ) , vini deliziosi , come il locale stesso...grazie Viviana sei stata un oste top , ritornerò sicuramente 😊

15/07/2025: The pizza I tried at L'inizio was a pleasant surprise from the first time I tried it, a few years ago. I always go there whenever I can. What immediately strikes you are the top-quality, fresh, and carefully selected ingredients, which truly make a difference from the first bite. Every component, from the mozzarella to the rest of the ingredients, is used with balance, without excess. Perfectly cooked.

23/06/2025: Agriturismo nel vero senso della parola, cibo semplice ma di qualità, porzioni generose ed ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale in sala molto gentile, locale semplice ma pulito ed ordinato. Siamo stati piacevolmente impressionati da questa struttura, siamo decisamente fuori zona, ma se dovessimo ricapitare nelle vicinanze sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

28/04/2025: Il locale occupa la parte più elevata del piccolo borgo. Dal piazzaletto, dalla terrazza e dalla sala ristorante superba vista sul Castello che domina la collina antistante. La sala offre una quarantina di posti a sedere, piatti decorativi alle pareti, piccole collezioni (civette) e antichi oggetti sono esposti sulle mensole. Molto pulita e ben tenuta pure la toilette. La gestione familiare (mamma in cucina, papà e figlia di servizio ai tavoli) si distingue per cordialita e cortesia. Il nostro è un pranzo di gruppo con menù concordato (25 €). Tre antipasti: salumi di produzione propria (squisiti!), battuta al coltello con champignons, insalata russa ( buona e delicata). Quindi due primi: raviolini burro e salvia (fra i migliori che ricordi!) e tagliatelle ai funghi. Praticamente di tutto faccio il bis... Per il brasato con patate al forno quasi non c'è più posto, ma subito mi riscatto con i due dolci (bunet e torta bianca alle bocciole, molto buono entrambi). Che dire di più? Un appunto forse merita il vino, in bottiglia generica non meglio specificata. Per tutto il resto è di quei posti che vorresti ci fossero ovunque, dove brillano gentilezza e qualità dei prodotti.
