14/08/2026: Excellent! I don't understand how it's possible to read reviews that don't agree: not only are the ingredients used in this restaurant top-quality, but the preparation is also remarkable! The dishes are extraordinary, the service is kind, attentive, and quick, and the location is beautiful. Sitting overlooking the valley that meets hills and villages is magical, as are the carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. Crota offers typical Piedmontese cuisine, authentic and truly memorable.
I recommend the Fassona beef tartare (top quality), bell peppers, Russian salad, ravioli with meat sauce, and traditional homemade pasta. The desserts are extraordinary...absolutely delicious!
It's worth returning time and again to spend an evening in absolute tranquility, licking your lips.
I frequent a lot of restaurants, but this one has definitely become one of my favorites.
04/08/2026: I had dinner with friends today, August 3, 2026. The table was simply set in the outdoor space in front of the restaurant. A gentle breeze and the breathtaking view of the vineyard-covered hills gave a magical touch to the evening. The dishes, strictly Piedmontese, prepared with high-quality ingredients sourced from nearby towns, are very good, with harmonious flavors and aromas. The tajarin pasta with 30 egg yolks and ragù is special, and the "Crota" hazelnut cake is delicious. The wine list is extensive and high-quality. The friendliness of the owner and staff made the evening remarkably convivial. The prices are fair.
