22/07/2025: Excellent restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. The venison carpaccio was very good. The vegetable side dish with the main course was equally good. Excellent value. The prosciutto and melon were excellent, and the roasted melon with hazelnut cream was excellent, melting in the mouth.

10/06/2025: The staff was very nice. Perfect location, great view from the room… Room was clean and comfortable. I went to their restaurant for dinner and it was a good experience. Breakfast was even better, they have a big variety of food which they serve directly to your table (no buffet) - which was a new and nice experience to me! Unfortunately I only stayed one night and solo, but would love to go back for a longer period with someone else.

Personale gentile e disponibile e cibo genuino con menu del giorno che varia in base alla materia prima disponibile per la cucina. Ci torneró ancora nolto volentieri perchè mangiare li è come mangiare a casa.

31/05/2025: Seconda volta in questo ristorante, segno che la prima era stata una buona esperienza. Anche questa seconda è andata bene. Anzi, molto bene. Servizio cordiale e premuroso. Amouse bouche delizioso e pane, credo, fatto in casa (a nostro avviso sul pane avremmo sperato meglio). Abbiamo optato per due portate a testa. Le nostre scelte sono cadute su piatti dai sapori decisi (spiedino di lingua e anguilla, paccheri cacio&pepe gratinati con julienne di asparagi, crocchette di baccalà e filetto di branzino su bisque di crostacei) che solo a scriverne mi stimolano la salivazione. Tempi di attesa perfetti e, dal mio punto di vista, fondamentali per la buona riuscita di un pranzo o una cena. Vini in carta ottimi. Torneremo a Novara per una passeggiata in centro o una salita alla guglia di San Gaudenzio ma solo dopo aver prenotato un’altra volta in questo ristorante. Bravi.

31/05/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante un giovedì sera a cena. È stata un'esperienza fantastica. Fin dal primo boccone si capisce la ricercatezza e la profondità di sapore dei piatti dello chef. Ho optato per ordinare 3 piatti fuori menù che sono stati uno meglio dell'altro in termini di sapore e presentazione. Servizio eccelso, cortesia e professionalità. Ci tornerò molto volentieri.

13/07/2025: Siamo stati invitati a cena dai consuoceri in questo ristorante a San Maurizio Canavese … bel locale con cucina a vista , buono il servizio e piatti con un tocco di estro che ci è piaciuto .il tonno di coniglio e giardiniera molto buono e fresco ,anche le tagliatelle con i gamberi crudi … molto buone

20/07/2025: This small restaurant in Costigliole d'Asti enjoys a lovely location on the main street. The food is good, featuring traditional recipes, but the dining room definitely needs updating. More attention should also be paid to service.

The atmosphere is discreet and family-friendly, perfect for a peaceful stay. The cuisine is also excellent, a real treat! A big thank you to the managers!

12/07/2025: I've already been to Vecchio Aratro twice, thanks to a neighbor of mine. The cooking is homely. Good selection of appetizers, first courses of decent quality. They don't skimp on second helpings when requested. Desserts and liqueurs galore. The fixed price is 20 euros, even on Fridays for dinner, for a good meal. Kudos to Dino, the long-time owner, and to Marika, the very sweet Moroccan waitress.
