04/03/2026: A wonderful place. I visited alone as a non-Italian tourist who only speaks English.The food is superb and both staff members were extremely friendly. I had the Bombetta alla Maceratese. They also offer wine by the glass. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The appetizers were traditional, the first courses delicious, especially the gnocchi stuffed with duck ragù, and the fried second courses were delicious. The wait was very long, about an hour between the appetizers and the first course, perhaps because it was busy. Excellent value for money.

11/10/2025: It was so tangy and impregnated with oil right down to its DNA that I got up in the night and drank a diger seltzer to digest a "fried" fish dish that, more than fried, seemed boiled in oil of which the owner who "fries" to please the customer is a mystery as to what type or chemical compound he uses (certainly not peanut oil).
