15/08/2025: Excellent experience. A mid-August get-together with old and new relatives, some of whom enjoyed the pool, others the various spa services. Everyone was satisfied, even those like me who only enjoyed the mid-August lunch. Gourmet with two courses (one meat and one fish) from appetizers to the main course, which concluded with braised beef and porcini mushrooms that melted in the mouth. Dessert, fruit, coffee, etc., etc. I'd also like to mention the staff, who never left the wine baskets empty, and just enough time to clear away the empty plates and the new courses arrive... always courteous, helpful, and kind.

06/07/2025: People who know their job. The quality of the dishes is high but also constant over time. The service is good: it can be polite and discreet without being too detached or formal. The wait is never excessive, considering that all the dishes are made to order. It is worth highlighting the quality of the raw materials used, always genuine and often excellent (such as the exclusively local meats or trout but also the exquisite lentils or the exquisite truffle or the cold cuts and cheeses). The wild boar ragù is excellent, the roasted trout served with a sauce that is also local, the tagliatelle with truffle but also the grilled lamb or the simple and cheap sausage with lentils. The house tiramisu is exquisite. It is not even true that the menu is so limited: dishes outside the menu are often available... And then you can also order from a pizzeria menu with dishes and tastes that are completely satisfying. I also recommend trying a simple mixed salad that with the freshness of its ingredients and a rare quality oil (especially that of the "Terre francescane") will surely satisfy you. The environment is pleasant and clean and you are practically immersed in greenery with the exception of the provincial road that runs right under the restaurant (but which for this very reason allows easy access even for the disabled). The parking is no more than twenty meters away (on the street) or thirty (parking lot) and is free.

04/08/2025: Ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and well-maintained spaces. Cleanliness is good, though a little more care wouldn't hurt. A bottle of Viakal and an obviously dirty rag next to the salt, oil, and vinegar would probably be better avoided. The appetizer was good; the bruschettone with sausage, gorgonzola, and caramelized onion was highly recommended. The fried cheese was excellent. The portions of the first courses were generous; we ordered a tonnarello with cream, sausage, and guanciale to share between two people. The half portion seemed like a whole one. It's a shame about the excessive amount of cream, which made the dish too heavy and we struggled to eat anything else, but these are personal preferences; the quality is there. The handmade arrosticini were very good, both the liver and fillet ones; the lean and fat portions were evenly distributed, making them tender and flavorful. The baked potatoes were average, a good portion, unlike the porcini mushrooms, which, despite their deliciousness, were minimal in size. Five mushrooms of varying sizes cost more than a huge plate of tonnarelli. The service is prompt, and requests are always fulfilled promptly. Congratulations. From my experience, I don't recommend the first courses, or perhaps we were just unlucky with the tonnarello with cream. I recommend the meat and the house antipasto, which includes fried cheese, olives, fagottini, tacos, and bruschetta (even if ordered individually, it costs about the same, but you have the option to choose). 1.5 liters of house white wine 3 waters 1 white grappa 1 house appetizer 1 first course 2 second courses 2 side dishes Total bill: €116

24/08/2025: We went to Griglieria Mangiafuoco and had a truly wonderful meal! The meat is excellent quality, cooked to perfection, and served with care. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and beautifully decorated, perfect for a dinner with family or friends. The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive to their needs. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those who love good meat and want to spend a wonderful evening in Ascoli Piceno!

28/08/2025: A hotel and restaurant converted from an ancient convent is already unusual, but if you visit, you'll realize the owners are serious people who know how to do their job with passion and professionalism. We only went for dinner (but if that's the case, the rooms must be just as excellent). Very local appetizer: Galantine, Ascoli olives (the best I've ever tasted), Russian salad and giardiniera (pickled vegetables) grown in the restaurant. Grilled vegetables First course: Pappardelle with rabbit ragù. Extremely delicate, and the egg pasta is also homemade. Second course: Beef fillet in green pepper sauce. Crostone with fossa cheese and red onion jam! For dessert, Cantuccini biscuits and a glass of Vino Cotto. The final bill was very fair, especially considering the bottle of Rosso Conero Riserva AGONTANO. BRAVI. You're our new favorite restaurant in the Marche region. We'll definitely be back.

09/07/2025: Beautiful location. For the rest, €60, for a beer, a mojito, and a platter (just right) for two. The platter was good, but nothing special. They had given me a €50 aperitivo voucher, and I thought that was enough! Actually... I added two coffees and a small plate of pastries, and I went to the cashier and they told me to add €10. I don't know where they came from. It's an experience I won't repeat, which is a shame because I'd heard good things about it.

10/08/2025: It's a bit noisy inside, the tables are close to each other, but everything is beautiful and bright. It's pleasing to the eye, a feeling of a holiday. Windows overlook the sea - the evening sea coolness creates a relaxing atmosphere. The dishes are delicious, fresh, large. I liked it.

25/06/2025: We had dinner in the village of Altidona. In a small square, Amaca is located, a family-run restaurant where you can rediscover the flavors of the Marche region. On the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and hills, we sampled the tasting menu of local dishes, including Ascoli olives and cremini, local cured meats and cheeses, fried tagliatelle, and much more. The Barbula di Altidona wine was truly delicious and fragrant. Everything was delicious. The staff was courteous and welcoming. Impeccable service. Absolutely fair pricing. Highly recommended!
