19/09/2025: Extremely rude barista. I came in with my son and started to look at the croissant display. There was a wide selection, but I was a bit hesitant. I wanted to take my time choosing, but she was insistent. I pointed this out to her, and she responded very aggressively. She quickly prepared my son's order without waiting for me to be ready to order. I asked if she could give us a tray, and she started yelling at me. I'm not used to leaving like that, but I felt too uncomfortable, so I decided to move on immediately. It's a shame because I work with the public too. I have a lot of respect for other people's work, and I demand the same respect, especially if I enter a place in an extremely polite manner. But then I laugh because she was there, yelling at me like that, telling me to relax, because it was only 7 in the morning. I also see from other reviews that this has happened before. It's a real shame because I chose this bar because it had good reviews and the croissants were really inviting.

05/10/2025: I went to this hotel accompanying my boss, who had a room booked for a gala dinner outside the hotel. Since I didn't have a room, I politely asked if I could come up for just half an hour, just to change for the event. I was told there was no need to register. After about half an hour, however, I was contacted by the front desk in an aggressive tone and completely inappropriate suggestive language, which implied something far from the truth. This was offensive and unacceptable behavior, especially toward someone who had expressed herself with the utmost politeness and transparency. Only after this incident was I asked for my ID, which had not initially been necessary. The handling of the situation was embarrassing and demonstrates a total lack of professionalism and respect for anyone who enters the hotel. A real shame: certain lapses in style weigh far more heavily than any material defect.

31/08/2025: CLOSED for a while now without any information...in fact, the "open" sign is still there, even though it's boarded up at all hours. I live nearby, so I often walk past it.

06/04/2025: I went last Sunday with a friend and was speechless when the kind lady at the register informed us, before rightfully giving us the receipt, that they would be adding a 20 cent surcharge per item for table service on the avenue. 20 cents per item???? But do you only drive me once to deliver what I ordered? We had 2 coffees and 2 croissants, a total of 80 cents surcharge for service... crazy stuff!!! The waitress then explained that last year it happened with some customers who seemed to be purposefully continuing to order things, making the waitress go back and forth multiple times... Yes, if you think that a customer would do this on purpose, it's not normal, but with all due respect, a waitress's job includes this too. I can understand 20 cents per service... but per item, it's absolutely crazy!!!

09/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening here. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. Even though we didn't know a word of Italian, we understood each other perfectly. The atmosphere along the boulevard is very pleasant, and the view of the lake and the sunset was magnificent. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

06/09/2025: It's always magical to return to Sunset; the welcome, the atmosphere, the music always perfect, making you feel at home. Excellent service, an extensive wine and spirits cellar, and excellent cuisine. A piece of my heart ❤️. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: They're deceiving you by not warning you that soft drinks cost a minimum of €5.50 after 5:30 PM. The waiters didn't warn us or bring us a menu so we could read this information. After paying handsomely for two Cokes Zeros at the modest sum of €11, as if we were at the Milan Cathedral, the guy at the cashier informed us that this information was on the menu (a menu never brought by the wait staff). What a way to make money by scamming people. Never again!
