25/08/2025: It's excellent: excellent quality, ingredients, and flavors, friendly and competent service, and a better-than-average price/quality ratio. I don't drink beer, but the wines are selected with evident passion and knowledge and offered at very reasonable prices. Free and easy parking.

19/09/2025: Extremely rude barista. I came in with my son and started to look at the croissant display. There was a wide selection, but I was a bit hesitant. I wanted to take my time choosing, but she was insistent. I pointed this out to her, and she responded very aggressively. She quickly prepared what my son had ordered without waiting for me to be ready to order. I asked if she could give us a tray, and she started yelling at me. I'm not used to leaving like that, but I felt too uncomfortable, so I decided to move on immediately. It's a shame because I work with the public too. I have a lot of respect for other people's work, and I demand the same respect, especially if I enter a place in an extremely polite manner. But then I laugh because she was there, yelling at me like that, telling me to relax, because it was only 7 in the morning. I also see from other reviews that this has happened before. It's a real shame because I chose this bar because it had good reviews and the croissants were really inviting.

19/09/2025: I've never seen such a rude bartender, I had already chosen what to order but my mother hadn't yet, she prepared everything in a hurry and started arguing with my mother for no reason, I wouldn't go back there even if they paid me

02/11/2025: This hotel has everything going for it, except for its appalling owner. He's never at reception or available to operate the sauna and hammam, he's dishonest when guests have problems, and he never apologizes. What a shame, the stay could have been perfect!

28/10/2025: The owner was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional throughout our entire stay. When we had to leave due to serious illness, the owner refused to refund the prepaid days, not even partially; suddenly, he also no longer understood English. Disappointing, especially considering the price range and the owner's reputation. We're talking about approximately €320 per night. The room and its size also did not match the description; they were significantly smaller. The balcony was simply filthy and unusable. The prices are far too high for this substandard service.

26/10/2025: A welcoming space with an indoor dining area (which can be transformed into an "open space" thanks to the large windows that can be opened completely) and outdoor tables with classic umbrellas. Currently, given the arrival of cold weather, they've installed "heating mushrooms." One of the advantages of the location is its location in Saronno's pedestrian zone, so the atmosphere is quiet and away from traffic. The brioche selection is wide, with a wide variety of fillings and types (plain, whole wheat, or whole grain dough). They range from the classic cream, orange, or orange and ginger, to lemon cream, charcoal-based dough filled with red fruits, to small parcels (with hazelnuts, for example), and rolls...plus, the plain ones can be filled on the spot (Nutella is a must, of course, and perhaps, perhaps, requests for two different fillings are granted...😇). To reach the restaurant, the nearby City Hall parking lot located in Piazza Repubblica is close by (a 5-10 minute walk). The menu includes a classic breakfast menu, brunch, and drinks. The staff is very young, in their 30s, and politely welcomes customers.

Selection of beers and wines, packaged ice cream, and snacks. Wi-Fi available. Large space with entrance onto the square and the train station platforms. Outdoor seating.

21/09/2025: There's nothing to complain about with all the services offered (bar, aperitifs, atmosphere), but there's some resentment about access to the service, because, perhaps rightly, it's reserved for those who consume. Therefore, those with health problems and a specific diet are not allowed access, even if they desperately need it, unless they consume. This would seem a bit selfish and very unpleasant. Vignati

06/09/2025: Overall, it's decent, but don't touch the tables or stools or they'll freak out! There were 10 of us, and we pushed two tables together. Suddenly, an elderly lady who works there took a table away from us, forcing us to stand. When we politely pointed out that we couldn't fit, she didn't listen and ignored us. The absurdity of it all is that the separated table remained empty the rest of the time! Meh... When they get so fixated on useless things and turn a pleasant experience into something senselessly unpleasant. There are better bars. 👎👎👎

06/04/2025: I went last Sunday with a friend and was speechless when the kind lady at the register informed us, before rightfully giving us the receipt, that they would be adding a 20 cent surcharge per item for table service on the avenue. 20 cents per item???? But do you only drive me once to deliver what I ordered? We had 2 coffees and 2 croissants, a total of 80 cents surcharge for service... crazy stuff!!! The waitress then explained that last year it happened with some customers who seemed to be purposefully continuing to order things, making the waitress go back and forth multiple times... Yes, if you think that a customer would do this on purpose, it's not normal, but with all due respect, a waitress's job includes this too. I can understand 20 cents per service... but per item, it's absolutely crazy!!!

05/03/2025: I happened to be passing by for a coffee (excellent), and I asked for a glass of water, as is done in all bars. They refused, so I asked for some tap water, and they refused. Don't laugh, but to rinse my mouth, I had them show me where the bathroom was so I could drink some water. Crazy. Never again.

22/10/2025: Finally a bar where they bring you a hearty aperitif and if you have a second round of drinks they bring you food again without having to ask! Plus a lot of choice of cocktails, friendly staff and fair prices (all spritzes €7)

14/07/2025: The rooms all need to be redone, everything is very old, the atmosphere is not welcoming. It was a very negative experience, I don't recommend it, we wanted to escape.

20/04/2025: The atmosphere is too familiar, in my opinion. The view from above is nice, the menu needs revising, nothing special, the business could use a modernization, atmosphere, staff, and menu. I wouldn't go back.
