07/01/2026: I'm from Puglia, but I've eaten your desserts and sat down at your restaurant on several occasions. Everything was delicious, and the location is charming, near the lake, and convenient for a nice stroll.

04/01/2026: I'm sorry because the quality is supposed to be high, but the waits are always interminable, even when the place is empty. Update: the pastries are delicious, but the coffee is terrible.

02/10/2025: Unfortunately, there's not a trace of the menu in the photo. Only two choices of first courses and two second courses...perhaps there were more desserts...only one person in the kitchen, dining room, and cash register...the second course arrived practically cold...for such a meager menu, the first course, second course, water, and coffee for two people cost €33.

05/10/2025: I went to this hotel accompanying my boss, who had a room booked for a gala dinner outside the hotel. Since I didn't have a room, I politely asked if I could come up for just half an hour, just to change for the event. I was told there was no need to register. After about half an hour, however, I was contacted by the front desk in an aggressive tone and completely inappropriate suggestive language, which implied something far from the truth. This was offensive and unacceptable behavior, especially toward someone who had expressed herself with the utmost politeness and transparency. Only after this incident was I asked for my ID, which had not initially been necessary. The handling of the situation was embarrassing and demonstrates a total lack of professionalism and respect for anyone who enters the hotel. A real shame: certain lapses in style weigh far more heavily than any material defect.

12/09/2025: Everything was excellent! The rooms, the food, the cleanliness...the friendliness...everything was top notch.

15/12/2025: *Unfortunately, a negative experience.* I returned to the place after more than two years, this time for a simple aperitif, and found it under new management. The two Aperol Spritzes served were basically just Aperol and ice: a complete lack of bubbles, no trace of sparkling wine or soda. The result, unfortunately, had nothing to do with a Spritz. The cold cuts and cheese platter was also subpar. The cold cuts (salami, pancetta, ham, bresaola) weren't fresh, and after trying a couple, I decided to stop. When I asked for clarification, the response was rude and unprofessional, despite my experience in the restaurant industry. The cheeses were limited to two slices of Edam and mozzarella with oregano on top, a choice that compromised the flavor. I finished the aperitif without further ado: I paid and left, also noticing rude comments from the staff on my way out. An experience that, unfortunately, I cannot recommend.

26/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience, especially considering it was Christmas lunch. It was cold inside, which was definitely not pleasant for such a day. We spent €60 per person for service and quality that were disappointing. The lasagna was cold, the vol-au-vents mediocre, the roast beef overcooked and dry. The sea bass was average, with no particular positives. The cured meat appetizers were excellent, and indeed, they were good, as was the wine, which was one of the few positives. I also found the service inattentive, superficial, and inefficient. We had to specify several times during dinner that someone with celiac disease had already been noted at the time of booking. Overall, poor value for money and a Christmas lunch that didn't meet expectations. I wouldn't return.

02/11/2025: We stayed one night in this hotel, a big brother type room, that is, in a hovel with no assistance, paying 85 euros which is not worth it, dirty, plus zero breakfast, I do not recommend it to anyone, oops, dead bugs everywhere, it could close for us!

25/09/2025: Good service. But the rooms are scary. Full of spiders, dead and live bugs, and very damp.

04/09/2025: Look, I ordered a kebab here one day with a friend of mine, and the kebab was amazing. It deserves a 5 Michelin star.

03/01/2026: Despite reading several less-than-favorable reviews, I stopped in today at the end of my lakeside walk because I wanted lunch. But incredibly, the waitress told me they wouldn't be serving first courses today, only appetizers and main courses. I'd made a reservation three hours earlier and was not told anything. A restaurant that doesn't serve first courses. This has never happened to me. Never again! The staff were very aloof and cold.

31/01/2026: Terrible service, rude and unpleasant staff. I asked for a prosecco with a small appetizer because I wasn't eating... they told me the kitchen was closed. Since it's just a baker, I wonder why they didn't have a slice of stale pizza or focaccia to reheat... Let's also keep in mind that this summer I paid €14 for a mohjto... Since the place in question is just a baker with unjustifiable delusions of grandeur, it's one of the worst places I've ever been to... I'd say shameful...

09/12/2025: In my opinion, this is the best traditional panettone offered by various Varese pastry shops at Villa Ponti in December 2025. The price is exorbitant (three or four times the price of a supermarket-bought panettone), but it's in line with all the other pastry shops.

05/10/2025: Nothing special, in fact, I didn't find any dishes that stood out, especially given the prices. The service was rather slow, the atmosphere was very nice, and the chairs were very uncomfortable. Overall, the quality/price ratio was unbalanced.

01/01/2026: Very nice place on the lake, good food, well cooked. They have gluten-free options, so I was able to have pasta, and they also have desserts for celiacs. Excellent wine selection. We'll definitely be back!!!

25/01/2026: Terrible experience. There were 11 of us. We ordered several spritz cocktails and mojitos, basically just water and ice. The mojito had nonexistent rum, no cane sugar, which we had to add separately, and the whole mint wasn't crushed. Luckily, some of them ordered freshly squeezed orange juice. All for the modest total cost of €72.

06/01/2026: I had a good pizza on New Year's Eve. Clean atmosphere, friendly, and fast service. I'd say good!
