25/05/2025: Servizio pessimo, per non dire inesistente visto che non siamo stati serviti dopo un'inutile attesa ai tavoli esterni. Personale scarso e maleducato, senza rispetto né riguardo per i clienti di passaggio. Davvero indegno, del paesaggio e di qualsiasi centesimo il malcapitato si fosse messo in mente di spendere anche per un bicchiere d'acqua, che tanto qui non vi daranno, o forse sì, chissà: dopo un'ora potrebbe darsi che qualcuno non facesse più finta che non ci siete. Un consiglio: non provateci neanche, non guastate la bellezza e l'incanto del Lago per via di un personale non all'altezza, dilettante e antipatico.

26/05/2025: Terrible experience. Never again. I have been to this bar about 6 or 7 times in the last three years. The location is, without a doubt, the best in all of Busto Arsizio — and it is probably the only reason why the place continues to operate. Tonight (Sunday, 6:00 PM) I set foot in there for the last time. I sit down with 4 friends and my 7-year-old son. After a good 30 minutes, a waiter finally arrives, who begins by saying that you cannot order ice cream or coffee products. No big deal. So we order a Lemonsoda, a buffet for the child and 5 alcoholic cocktails. Another 10 minutes pass and the waiter comes back only to tell us that he cannot serve us. I ask for an explanation and he tells me, in an arrogant tone, that we cannot order 5 cocktails with just one buffet. I point out that there is no sign with this “rule” and that none of us ordered coffee products, nor asked for special treatment. But nothing: “The bar is ours and we make the rules,” I was told. At that point the owner intervenes, who adds to the drama with a surreal scene: he claims that in his opinion we had ordered only one buffet so that all 6 of us could secretly eat from the same plate — a completely unfounded accusation, considering that the child had just sat down with the plate in his hand. The owner even adds that, if we had stayed, he would have put a waiter to monitor us at the table. I am 50 years old and I certainly do not go around stealing buffets. A welcome like that is offensive and shameful. The truth is that they simply wanted to force us to order more buffets, because serving only cocktails was not “convenient” enough for them. I left very angry and, I admit, also rude. I cannot tolerate being treated with suspicion and arrogance. I sincerely hope that the ASL and Guardia di Finanza will stop by to check how this bar really works, because Busto Arsizio deserves much better. Final note: rude and arrogant waiters.

07/05/2025: Il Duetto is a classic bar for aperitifs in Busto Arsizio, with a large buffet and good cocktails. The place can be a little too noisy, but in summer it is more pleasant, thanks to the possibility of being outside. The central location is convenient for those looking for an easily accessible place. Perfect for a quick aperitif with friends, but not the best if you're looking for tranquility.

02/06/2025: Posto da non perdere! Ristorante con meravigliosa vista sul lago. Personale attento, competente ed educato. Ottima la gestione. Ottimo il servizio. Menu buono e di stagione. La pasta fatta in casa da assaggiare!

31/05/2025: A parte il posto e la gentilezza dei camerieri non salviamo nulla. Prezzi alti, coperto 3€ come purtroppo oramai succede troppo spesso. Primi con quantità di pasta veramente esigua e sugo che pare scaldato più volte. Dolci di produzione industriale e di porzione ridotta. Da quando ha cambiato gestione è la seconda volta che torniamo ma è sicuramente anche l’ultima. Va bene solo per gli ignari turisti.

29/10/2024: What an experience! We had a few hours stopover in Milan to get home to the UK, Following a flight from Bordeaux. We randomly found this restaurant and got a taxi to take us here, fairly close to the airport (around 10km). The area seemed nice with the river along here and we arrived to Mario and Juilette unable to speak very good English and us not very good Italian, however, we had a great 2 hours in here, ate good good, drank good wine and most of all had an experience not too forget! Bit of an issue to get back to the airport as signal (for uber) was poor and taxis wouldn't come! Mario's sister to the rescue to get us back just in time for check in! Gracias

12/05/2025: Italian flair paired with delicious food and matching drinks...we felt comfortable and really enjoyed the food.

11/04/2025: Food not objectionable. Prices of some food and drinks are 20 to 60% more expensive when paid than shown on the menu. Due to lack of Italian. I didn't question the language skills (I certainly missed something in the small print (seat surcharge, or that the prices are diced). Coperto €2.50 p.p.

20/04/2025: Un autentico angolo di Roma in provincia di Varese. La carbonara e la cacio e pepe sono semplicemente strepitose, preparate con ingredienti di qualità (la pasta stessa è fatta in casa) e nel rispetto della tradizione. Il personale è cortese e mai invadente, contribuendo a creare un’atmosfera calda, accogliente e rilassata. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e si esce dal locale pienamente soddisfatti. Una scoperta felice: ci torneremo senz'altro.

12/04/2025: Pappardelle with wild boar ragù good, cooked al dente done well. The 2 carbonaras to say the least to be reviewed. Shredded egg cheese that didn't feel like bacon with burnt black parts that released a much loved flavor! The pasta is not al dente but undercooked. I put it forward and the waiter didn't ask why when I politely told him because he wasn't looking in the face and just seemed to be in a hurry to clear the plates!! His explanation was to say the name of the brand! Maybe he doesn't know that the name doesn't fit, if you don't cook it for the correct time it will be done badly... modeling it left a white mark so at least another minute was missing... but the guy in the room evidently doesn't know these things! We had to ask for the bread. He didn't ask if we wanted condiments and when he took the knife away he didn't bring me another one! I took the potatoes with rosemary but they were without salt and the rosemary was a piece of sprig from the dish which not only gave no flavor or even aroma. The bill? Well, annoyed by the waiter's attitude, we didn't take any sweets or coffee or cappuccino. We wanted to give it another chance thinking it had been a bad day but with that attitude we will never set foot in it again. You expect a simple place with more Roman ways... but instead you find yourself in a restaurant like many others that don't execute the typical dishes for which it is chosen well. !! At the Corte dei Brut the carbonara is made so much better! Then you see on the bill that they charge 4 euros for the water and cream (1 bottle)!!!! And the cost of cover? 4 euros and you get paper napkins. In short, one of those "I would like but I can't, or rather I can't" places! NOT RECOMMENDED!! Too bad that due to the waiter's ways we won't give a second chance! Who knows how many others are like this. Plus I saw their absurd responses to the comments! All done using "wanted" terms but placed there like confetti at carnival! Always to say that it's your fault and not to ask why there are so many comments like this. If only I had read them before..! Ah the car park is not as big as some comments might suggest. We booked a table for 8.30pm on Friday at 7.30pm. There was room... when we arrived there was a couple and us. At that point they turned on the next room otherwise they would be in the shade. Plus it was cold! I REPEAT....HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

24/03/2025: Very bitter coffee, I don't know if it's because they don't wash the machine or it's just the brand of poor coffee, on three spoons that I asked to change, all three dirty, and unfortunately it's not dog friendly

16/02/2025: Il cibo nulla da dire 11 stelle e sono poche....cortesia dei proprietari 12 stelle e sono poche ma il servizio è assolutamente ZERO !! LENTO E DISATTENTO ! ci vuole personale che ha studiato nel settore....qui manca anche l' ABC ...... UN VERO PECCATO !! uno spreco di potenziale .... al cuoco e proprietaria grazie davvero per la qualità ma sul personale di sala proprio non ci siamo....

24/05/2025: Good experience, with my husband I spent three days in Pavia and a local person recommended this pizzeria. We were satisfied in fact we had dinner for two evenings. Fresh and good quality food, possibility to eat outside or inside. In the historic center on a lively square of nightlife. Attentive and fast staff, large place.

30/12/2024: We had lunch with our wasp club. Excellent starter and also the second course with side dish. Sweet homemade trifle. Home cooking but really very good. Advised

15/12/2024: found it by chance and told us well: family-run restaurant, excellent and plentiful food, honest prices and private parking. advised !!!

20/10/2024: Cena eccellente e atmosfera incantevole. I piatti, preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, sono stati un’esplosione di sapori, mentre l’ambiente molto accogliente e casalingo ha creato una perfetta cornice per la serata. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con personale attento e cordiale. Un’esperienza da ripetere assolutamente!

07/10/2024: Ieri ho festeggiato il mio diciottesimo ai rustici, è stata una bellissima serata in un posto accogliente e caloroso ma soprattutto questa serata è stata possibile grazie alla bravura, simpatia ma sopratutto alla professionalità di Daniela Schiaffi bravissima nel suo lavoro ma oltre a questo è anche una persona a modo in grado di mettere i suoi clienti a proprio agio. io personalmente non avevo dubbi sull'uscita di questa serata perché secondo me l'esperienza lavorativa vuol dire tanto e poi secondo me ci voleva proprio una persona così per rendere così calorosa il ristorante della villa porta bozzolo.
