02/02/2026: Passing through Laveno for a day trip, we stopped at this pastry shop to warm up.
The service was definitely good, although I had ordered a plain hot chocolate with cream, but it arrived dusted with cocoa powder. Anyway, the hot chocolates and pastries were mediocre, nothing particularly good, and the chocolates were lumpy.
Otherwise, nothing special.
Prices were typical of cross-border commuters, Swiss, or Milanese.

29/10/2025: We went here one weeknight for dinner. I had a carbonara, while my boyfriend had a Margherita pizza with cooked ham.
I was happy with my choice, while he found the pizza too chewy, undercooked, and the sauce a bit acidic.
To finish, I had the tiramisu, which was good, but the ladyfingers NEED TO BE DEEP IN because they were still dry.
The girls were super kind and quick with their service, and the atmosphere was nice and informal, suitable for everyone.
Prices, in my opinion, are a little high for a chain; drinks are more expensive than at a regular restaurant: €2.50 for half a liter of water.

Great value for money, a cute little pizzeria I highly recommend.
01/09/2025: The place is informal, its name now is "Lu purparu " located under the porticoes and pergolas, the dishes are plentiful and the prices are normal, the linguine with sea urchins are special, I will definitely return, what can I say... I recommend it to everyone, try it and believe it. 👍🏼

05/03/2026: The atmosphere, the beers, the food, everything was excellent. I'd call it a steak house, because in my opinion that's their strong point.
11/02/2026: The beers are good, as are the desserts. The pistachio cheesecake is simply excellent. The place is beautifully done, combining an industrial feel with wooden furnishings and leather sofas, exuding a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

07/11/2025: This evening I ordered five pizzas for delivery between 7 and 7:30 PM. The pizza arrived at 7:50 PM, cold, and it wasn't the first time. Unfortunately, the quality isn't what it used to be. Last week, I ordered a large pizza with very little mozzarella and it arrived completely tasteless and without toppings. Never again.

15/03/2026: We had lunch today for my father-in-law's 90th birthday. There were 21 of us, and we agreed on the menu in advance. An excellent risotto with ossobuco was the star of the show. All our requests were met by the talented and very friendly Giada, who went out of her way for us! All our guests were delighted with the service and the welcoming atmosphere. I often go there for breakfast and know that from 12:00 to 2:30 they offer a fixed-price meal service with a talented Italian staff. I often go there with friends and family. It's also a great place for small snacks.
The people are nice, and I've never encountered any thugs.
Also suitable for families with children.

18/05/2025: Beer house with a good selection of beers, large space both inside and outside. Poorly managed internal acoustics: the voices of the customers create somewhat annoying resonances, which hinder conversation. Kind and efficient staff, recommended especially in the summer.
