LisanzaLake In Sesto calende

This isn't my first time dining here, but unfortunately I'm giving it 3 stars because I've noticed a decline compared to last year. The menu has been changed (a magnificent pizza was removed), the mixed fried fish has gone up in price and decreased in quantity, though still delicious. The starters introduced this year aren't anything special, but above all, they seem more like tastings than a main course. The location is very beautiful, the only flaw is that there's no smoking area. Eating with people smoking next to you, perhaps even a cigar like I did, isn't pleasant. And when we sat down, there were cigarette butts in the ashtray on our table, which I asked to be taken away. I'll definitely be back to see if I have to change my mind.

The food is good. There's also a bar. Very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent view and a free beach with a lovely lawn. Dogs are welcome. It's a shame the lake water is really muddy. Luckily, the restaurant offers showers.

Had a super delicious meal. Highly recommended. Service fast and good. Lovely place to sit.

A truly stunning venue on the shore of Lake Lisanza, which mirrors the Alpine mountain range. It was truly wonderful to dine watching the sunset, as the sun set behind the mountains. The food was good, average, but a special mention goes to the gazpacho: delicious! The staff were very friendly. The only problem (and I'm being fair) was that as soon as the lights went out, the place filled with mosquitoes, so much so that we had to run. Regardless, I highly recommend it!

This place is a total disaster. The waiter with the mustache is the best. We ordered two classic drinks and I've never had anything better. It's definitely the same waiter who always makes it. The view must have been created by God on the seventh day because he had to go somewhere to relax.

A typical restaurant in a very convenient location and with a scenic impact, like others in the area, but with rather mediocre food, drinks, and service. Once you come, you'll rarely return.

I had dinner last night at Lisanza Lake and overall it was a great experience. The location is truly the highlight: the view of the lake is beautiful and creates a very pleasant atmosphere, especially at sunset. I ate very well, with a special mention for the pasta with anchovies, lemon, and bottarga, which was truly excellent. The only downside was the mosquitoes: there were so many. The staff was kind and provided us with Autan, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to solve the problem. As for the prices, they are a bit high, although that's partly understandable considering the location and the view. It should be noted, however, that the menu exclusively features high-end dishes, with no cheaper options like pinsa, focaccia, or other simple dishes, so it's good to know this before going. Overall, I recommend it, especially for the quality of the food and the splendid view.
