11/08/2026: We had dinner here on our first night in Livigno. The food was truly excellent and the beer was quality. As with any respectable brewery, we finished with a bottle of water. Recommended.

11/08/2026: Kudos especially to the waiters, who never stop working, ensuring impeccable service. Kudos especially to the guy who runs the place: he always has a kind and friendly word for everyone and goes out of his way to accommodate customers' needs. The prices have gone up in recent years, but unfortunately, that's the case everywhere in Livigno. Good food, excellent beer, and an amazing tiramisu with amaretti.

14/07/2026: The pizza was okay. The service was overwhelmed; there was only one waitress for a full outdoor seating area.

09/07/2026: The service was excellent – ​​very friendly, and the drinks and food arrived promptly. The restroom was very clean. The food (salad, pizzoccheri, and pizza quattro stagioni) was also delicious. At €10 each, it was absolutely worth it.

27/02/2026: Fantastic hotel and the owner Athos who goes that little extra for his guests! The hotel is close to the lifts and the food was appreciated by both us adults and children (half board). We can highly recommend Capriolo!

10/12/2025: First weekend of the year on the snow, hotel in an excellent location just steps from the ski lifts, a little dated but still very beautiful and characteristic, very friendly staff and the owner Athos always available and kind. Parking reserved for guests outside the hotel. Excellent restaurant with a wide selection (we were half-board and had 6 or 7 starters and main courses to choose from). A well-stocked wine cellar at fair prices. The only downside is the rooms, clean and well-kept, but small and in need of a bit of modernization... The bathroom is basic, although the lack of a bidet is a letdown, but the shower is quite spacious and comfortable. In conclusion: I would return because it feels like "family," even if it's my first time there. Athos is very good and makes up for any small shortcomings with passion and dedication to the customer.

12/03/2026: Nothing special, let's just say it's okay. You don't really notice the rosemary in the "rosemary" focaccia, the flours aren't particularly sophisticated, and the price is okay.

14/10/2025: Unfortunately, the serious problem here is the inability to communicate. These not-so-nice ladies should take an Italian course and explain what the brioches are like and what their prices are. In the morning, I don't feel like arguing about the type of brioche: if I want the conchiglia and it costs 20 cents more, explain it to me and I'll give you €0.20 without endless arguing. Then seeing a mouse wander by the window—for goodness sake, it was outside the shop—put me off my list.

28/07/2026: Not far from the center, you'll find Dopolavoro. What more could you want?! A typical mountain bar with elegant, modern wooden furnishings and pleasant reminders of family tradition.

26/07/2026: Small, rustic-style bar located on Via Uva, a cross street from Livigno's main street. There's also some outdoor seating. Excellent aperitifs with delicious appetizers. The bartender is very friendly!

11/02/2026: Granted, we came during the Olympics, but paying 15 euros for a simple FROZEN diavola seems really excessive. Terrible pizza, a tourist trap.

05/07/2026: A surreal experience, to be avoided. We had a table reserved for 9:00 PM and arrived at 8:57 PM. A young woman simply told us to wait, without any explanation. After 15 minutes, we were still there, surrounded by empty tables, not understanding what we were waiting for. At that point, an extremely rude waiter arrived and, instead of asking if we had a reservation, told another woman, referring to us, that the food was out and they wouldn't serve any more customers. Food out at 9:15 PM? Unheard of in a restaurant. When we pointed out that we had a reservation, they told us it wasn't their problem and that we could leave. After complaining, they finally let us sit, but we stayed another 15 minutes without even receiving a menu. When the woman returned after about half an hour, instead of apologizing, she got angry with me, saying she was the owner and didn't listen to the waiters. I pointed out that she'd left us completely abandoned for over 30 minutes and that I was writing a review. Her response was not to do so and that, even though she never responds to reviews, she'd wait for mine to reply. If an owner habitually ignores customer reviews, that says a lot about the way they run their business. The place also seemed dirty, dark, and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, because we didn't get a chance to try it... it was already sold out! 😂 Luckily, we didn't go without dinner: we found another restaurant a minute's walk away where, without a reservation, at 9:30 PM they welcomed us kindly, served us quickly, and ensured we had a pleasant evening. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant.

24/07/2026: Barbasch is my favorite restaurant in Aprica! The schiatt and the tagliata alla Robespierre are delicious!

17/07/2026: We decided to test out the new management of this restaurant, and we weren't very happy with it. We ordered: * a caper tartare - it arrived without garnishes (we noticed because a table next to us with the same order received a dish garnished with caper flowers) * pasta alla matriciana - a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms arrived. Obviously, mistakes can happen, but it's good manners to not take the dish and bring it back to the person who ordered it after it's been sitting around for at least 10 minutes, getting cold. The matriciana then arrived, unfortunately overcooked. * tiramisu - it arrived without a dusting of cocoa powder. The experience wasn't the best. I don't think I'll return, nor recommend it.
